Tommy is awsome but he has said several times that he hopes he never has to play another Crew song again. 😂 He is just tired of playing the same songs over and over.
Surprised he can play this with out being raised 100 feet off the ground and rotating 180 degrees. Tommy rocks. He always seems so happy no matter what.
Cause he's a multimillionaire with an 8.5 inch penis who never had to really work to much for a living and slept with prob hundreds or thousands of women over the years in his day. .
@Leon Flames bro, he has had a LOT of embarrassingly bad press lately. Do you even read the news? Money wasn't the driver here but the goodwill PR is worth much more. Tommy actually does like working with young artists. I commend him for that, but I know one of these guys that pays to take part in these events. It's a fantasy camp aimed at well-to-do middle aged men reliving their rock n roll youth literally with their idols. I think it's kind of cool for what it is and I'm sure my generation of bands will do the same thing. I'll probably be one of those guys going to rock n roll weekend camp, too. Lol.
I met Tommy and the band back in 1982 at the Troubador down in L.A.. I followed them along thru thier west coast gigs. He was always very kind and very well spoken. Met his parents. The pride he shows now is the same pride he had back in the 80s. I was at the parties. The motels and the gigs. Big or small jam seasions. In my opinion, hes the greatest showman on the face of this earth. Thanks for the memories dude! Love you man. ---Tony
Tommy Lee has always been one of my favorite drummers ever. He looks just like that in rehearsal or live. I suspect he looked that way in the school marching band too. Respect.
@@toddlavigne6441 oh I see. Then again I don't think it's a matter of proving himself if ur referring to like if he still gots it or not type thing but yes he's a legend. 3x over
Another one of my favourite drum idols! I loved Tommy Lee since I was a kid and of course picked up the sticks because of him! Truly an inspiration to me and my playing! I also had the pleasure of meeting Tommy Lee ( I balled my eyes out) and saw him numerous times in concert! Great drummer, but more importantly a great person 🥁rock on Tommy! Thank u🤘🏻
Think about how many times Tommy played the drums to that song. It was a cakewalk for him to play it. But for everyone else they had to learn it and practice it so they are really focused on hitting all of the notes
Tommy gets a lot of hate, people don't realize what he's really done. You don't need to do some insane solos to be the best. Sometimes less is more and in Mötley he did what was needed to do. I don't think Mötley would be Mötley without anyone missing in the band. I'm a drummer and my favorite technical drummer is Dani Perez. No one was playing double pedal when Live wire came out though. Hes a pioneer drummer. No one can take that away from him.
+Christian Sandoval T-BONE has done more for the love of drumming and showmanship, while also being experimental and near compositional in his approach to adding t the song writing process , than most of his peers of rock that have also had the experience of selling millions of records, selling millions of tickets to endless venues and all over the course of 30+ years, which was longer than anyone would have foreseen. Having had the pleasure of actually meeting the man and being a die-hard fan of his entire body of audio work, I admit to being bias. But that does NOT change the fact that Tommy tattooed his place in musical history. So, to the people that hate, don't go away mad...just go away lol ( I had to! :P) T BONE RAWKS AND RULZ!!!
I always liked Tommy Lee's Hard hitting Drumming, Tommy, Mick Mars snd Nikki always had a really good Rhythm, it was always great How Tommy and Mick just held it down and just made the songs Pop
This music was about fun! That’s it, it’s fun to hear and watch and play. It was never meant to be taken to seriously. He drops sticks ,beats the shit out of the kit and clearly has a great time doing it.
I SEE A LOT OF REMARKS DISSING MOTLEY IN GENERAL. ALWAYS an impressive show when Crüe his the stage!!! Fun will be had by all! Hell, I was in the BACK on the arena, and felt the stage pyro on my face! I actually thought during Shout At The Devil that the whole place would go up in flames and that is how I'd die---in a metal inferno with Mötley Crüe.
He's definitely not the best drummer by skill and creativity, but this guy always delivers studio quality performances, so effin thight all the the time, whatever happens. Great performer and such a likable personality, I love this dude and he is legendary.
Same thing with Lynch, the guy's not going to play it note for note, he's going to play it the way George Lynch plays it because he's George Fucking Lynch!
Excellent, but I wish there was more footage of Tommy + his mirror image (other drummer) drumming together. From what I saw, the other drummer was exceptionally skilled and quite a natural as well. What a dream come true...to sit at a drum kit next to Tommy Lee and play in unison.
One of the greats.. What's funny is how some comments are ripping on the guitar player saying he's not that good... He's boring... Bland.. it's frikken Lynch!!! People are idiots. He can just spit on the strings and it'd sound better than most commenting here.

He's played this thousands and thousands of times. He still plays with the excitement like if they just finished writing it. That's love.
easleyrider maybe some chemical help?
Hahaha!
He just love playing
@Scott Stevens that's what your boyfriend thinks.
Plus it's always exciting jamming with other musicians from time to time... It's actually a relief especially in his case.

Tommy has SO MANY memories...most of dem he probably doesn't even remember.

Nope. That's the way to play.
THATS RIGHT !!!!
He's a better drummer than Lars.
Hello Kitty drums would be better than those

Makes me miss Vince singing every 4th word.

Pretty cool of Tommy to show up there and jam. He looks like he's really having a good time!!
They pay was decent and the positive attention was much needed.

Tommy Lee ladies and gentlemen one of the most entertaining and energetic drummers
One of the best, yes.
What I àllways loved about Tommy, plays with attitude emotion and grit. One of my favorite drummers for sure. Tommy Lee absolute legend.....
I like how he dropped a stick and bent over to pick it up without missing a beat and had a huge smile on his face
That smile on his face! Hes still so excited to play like it's the first time hes performing this song. Hes played it millions of times. Love him!
Mr Scary and Tommy jamming together = pretty kewl.
That kit, what the ghetto hell? ??
That was a beginner kit 40 years ago. No exaggeration.
Lol tommy is like “its all about my child sized drum kit, and I’m crushing it”

hehehe! I love how happy he looks! He's insane!!!
Kateri Wynne he wants that blonde with the nice legs
Most underrated drummer in rock !! Primal scream, wildside kickstart Tommy you are absolutely badass!!
Tommy is having a great time because he's playing with a lead singer that is actually singing every single word of the song, LOL!
Every word?! Can't even hear her since the drums are drowning out everything else! :/
So true, when Vince changed the way he sings it sucked. Sings like every other word.
Oh she's shit!
Even though sjes singing every word, she cant hit a note for shit...
That’s the truth!
Tommy is having the time of his life. U can tell he's having a blast and reliving he's 20s and 30s. He can make any drum set sound and be amazing.

Tommy is still a “beast” behind the drum kit. Sheer power.
Still playing with terrible technique and flubby timing.
This dude just loves what he does. Lucky man.
Beginning: Tommy's like - 'we really doing this?'. Music starts. He has fun playing this song for the 15 billionth time!

Tommy, one of legend of 80-90!

to see the the passion and love for the music in him is awesome. He rocks!
Was fortunate to catch one of Tommys sticks on their theatre of pain tour mid 80s. After playing helter skelter . Cardiff . Still treasure it.
Cool
I've always wanted a drum lesson from Tommy. On my bucket list.

that's because he didn't break any
