I really like this idea of taking classroom to local places for learning foreign languages. Especially, this is like hanging out Risa san. Let's shopping. I feel like I could get to pick up Japanese better by linking the shopping experience.
Risa-senpai, its been long time not watching videos about Japan. Nice video. PLUS, she always put her garbage on her pocket. I really respect her thts the why Japan is so clean
Great video this time! I think the trick to opening Ramune is to push the marble in but then keep holding your hand on it very tight until the fizzing stops. That's what I do.
Risa, Watching you brings out the child in me. Nonetheless learning Japanese is all the more fun and interesting watching your frolicky way. God Bless!
Risaaaaaa your team makes really good teaching videos. I am addicted. Your Japanese culture experience videos are so related to real life. Learned a lot tho not absorbing all at the same time. Good job!!! Thank you!!!
I love Ramune, it is so good, I have the Ramon dish, we have an Asian market here on long Island, New York, I have to explore. Your videos are great, always educational.
I don't know how many viewers would notice it. Japanese in general won't litter. At 2:39, Risa put that plastic seal in her pocket. Many people would, specially in America, unintentionally trash it to the ground. I have seem few Japanese people in America have the same habit. They put those tiny wraps in pocket if they couldn't find trash can nearby.
I don't know if you're from America, but not a lot of people I know litter. I always put receipts, plastic seals, etc in my pocket or just directly into the trash. Same with my family and friends. The only place where I see people knowingly litter is in baseball stadiums (because I go to a lot of games). And even then it's only when they're sitting in their seats watching the game and don't want to get up.
Moon Cake You're absolutely correct. Japan in general is very clean but that's because a standard personal code of ethics a respect for eachother. In places like the U.S. such important standards are not instilled in young Americans when growing up so the basic social science becomes "someone else is supposed to clean(take care) it."
That's great. You and your family and friends are good citizens. I do believe many Americans have self-respect and toward others. I know not all American people are that selfish. I just meant "in general" because they care their own convenience. Small things add up. Some think "who care....small things....no one would see small things being discarded on streets. In fact, many selfish people are still leave used furniture and mattresses on sidewalk and expect they'll get picked up. Our selfishness cost higher tax money and city fees to residents. I appreciated such self-discipline habit more as I found Risa living in big city Tokyo. Look at our big cities, like New York, Chicago, Los Angelas, San Francisco....and on. Trash everywhere.
Risa, you didn't slurp your noodles. Is your having lived abroad has something to do with it? And, thank you, JapanesePod101; I love these adventure videos!
