Aughhhhhhh! That was so refreshing. 🥤😌 I've been struggling with wondering if my hunger is wrong and is a form of discontentment - I am tired of my job and want to be doing creative things. The conversation helped me connect in my mind how God moves our desires to bring us to new places, and we don't have to fear that, only to let go and be moved by Him. I totally agree: Bacon is wayyy overrated.
"If we don't get our seasonal menu from God, we may end up just copying what we think is successful." So true! He created us in His image. He is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We are body, soul, and spirit. Just like our body needs air, food, and water to live, our souls (mind, will, and emotions) need love, PURPOSE, and respect/honor. We don't find our purpose by copying others. Our perfect Father has a perfect and unique plan for each of us. Great stuff guys! Thanks for sharing! (And just so it's not left out - our spirits need the Word, worship, and prayer.). 🙂

I appreciated the bit about "how long can you talk with your father before it gets awkward? Just start small; it's a relationship and you'll eventually, naturally, want to talk longer." Not a fan of bacon. lol
Yeah, we all want to see something beautiful, and anything beautiful draws community. Eg, if you see a stunning sunset, you want to either take a photo to share what you saw or immediately grab others and say, "look at this before it's gone!" And we have as our inspiration and our example, our Creator and Redeemer who is so beautiful. So how can we not, grab our friends and say, "Look! Look at our Lord!" P.S. I like bacon, especially when it's wrapped around shrimp. But agree it is over-rated.
Loved this! I'm a Storyteller (in a season of mainly Illustration) but strangely I watch Ballet videos too 😂 I really enjoy watching others practise their craft.
Bacon: I'm for it...when it adds something without dominating the thing itself - and it often dominates something so all you taste is bacon, that's for darn sure. For instance, loads of burgers now have bacon on them. Honestly, it tastes like jamming my mouth full with bacon and a mushy tasteless bun. Fail. But like, Bacon wrapping jalapeño poppers stuffed with cream cheese - yes. Bacon blended in a milkshake because ERMAGERD A BACON MILKSHAKE(tm) ... no.
Hey guys. I love the work you do in general, but for me as someone, who doesn't know you personally, 13 minutes before you got into the topic of the episode was just way too long. It made it hard for me to get into the episode, even though the topic is right up my alley. Just a consideration for you if you want to make more, as I'm quite sure you'd be able to reach more people if you made the episodes a bit more to the point.
I don’t know if this is a thing in the UK, but in the US we make sandwiches with bacon, lettuce, and tomato(and here in California, we add avocado🤤). It’s called a BLT, and it’s where bacon belongs. Absolutely fabulous. Even if you don’t like bacon, you might like BLTs.
Yeah, about the pressure to keep making just one thing - Betzalel (the first Holy Spirit-filled person in the Bible) was anointed "in all kinds of workmanship", not just one thing! (Exodus 31:3)
I'm for bacon, but I don't go crazy about it. It's a good food, but not something I'd buy a t-shirt over. Great video! Y'all are hilarious, and I love hearing your discussions. Please keep making more, these have been great to listen to on my lunch breaks 😃
