CJ definitely out of line calling the spot immoral. If it was free for all tag, and Kirbs had no team cam to assist, he basically was in at minimum 9/10, hiding in plain sight but some slight camera shenaningans.
The spot only worked because it was teams format and nobody had thought to double down on the well since it was ludicrous to think somebody would pull it off without being spotted. Technically, Poo has Kirbs on his screen for a moment before he turns and leaves through the pipe. Gamers don't look up.
Agree entirely. The rules against looping are exclusively to prevent sub-area/loading zone abuse.
Unironically the custom minecraft kingdom idea sounds really cool and y’all should definitely try to do something like that.

i normally love the high energy CJ brings to these videos but he kinda brought the mood down in this one

I love CJ but his frustration over people "cheating" is getting old because he is never right about it. With Kirbs in the well I wonder if CJ just didnt understand his spot because it was probably one of the most moral spots Ive seen in a while, taking advantage of people not coming down looking backwards. He gets annoyed at Kirbs moving around a bit in Lake while in Cascade he will give a hint and then immediately invalidate it by moving. On the seeking round he gets annoyed because noone heard his small comment about going that you cant even hear in this. Sure you can blame Smant for not asking the right question before starting, but once his team had realized he was gone they should of told Smants team and restarted the round. He just gets so butthurt when anything that happens to him and it sucks any fun out.
Smants team briefly talks about CJ's major coping but I wonder if they actually ever sit him down to set things straight, otherwise CJ's just going to keep playing victim. I just worry it will reach some sort of climax in the future.

I rewound to the start of the Lake seeking round and I couldn't hear CJ say he was going to the bathroom at all. Either he didn't say it, or he said it so quietly that nobody could hear him. You've gotta do better than that if you want everyone to hold up for you.
And Kirbs' Lake spot was 100% legit. I don't know if I'd give it a 10 on the morality scale, but it's far from being a dirty spot.
I like CJ overall, but his complaining is getting annoying. It's meant to be just a silly hide and seek game, not something super competitive.

CJ's reaction after getting caught in Lake also bothered me a lot. The round didn't start the way he said it did. SmallAnt waited for Fir to be ready. Watching it again it's clear no one on his team knew he left. They had a full minute to mention it, and they didn't. Plus when SmallAnt starts the time, PooBear says "Hey CJ, do you see this?" Which shows he thought CJ was there. That's really on CJ for not making sure someone on his team knew he needed time.
All the yelling about morality when it doesn't go his way, but no one complained about his crazy good hiding in Cascade. I feel annoyed thinking about it.
I really hope they agree to drop the morality argument. It's getting harder to watch.
@@ImHayesBoi Thanks for finding those timestamps. Yeah, you can hear it in his vod, but it's super quiet. When he came back he still had a full minute to find a hiding spot, so it shouldn't have even put him at much of a disadvantage anyway.
Listening to CJ be as smug as he was on the first kingdom only to do a 180 and complain for literally every single second he was on the mic afterwards really takes away from the enjoyment of the content.
I do appreciate POO trying to step in a few times and cool the waters though, hes always a super chill dude.

It would have been looping if he went through the pipe as soon as someone entered the well, only to capture another Cheep Cheep and go back down.

IDK much about Kirbs and DGR, but they handled the whole thing pretty maturely. I think CJ kinda needs to work on taking things a little less seriously. I feel like he gets frustrated really easily and blows up at the people he's playing with a lot lately. And it sucks cause I really like him! His skill with the game and sense of humor really add to the videos. But it gets annoying when he gets salty all the time.
@@MonadoGirl he has autism, people with autism have trouble deciphering between sarcasm and social cues, and their mood is often affected by it.
@clinicallygreat Even if that's true he didn't always used to act like that. The toxicity is recent only in like the last year has he started really killing the vibe of these videos.
While SmallAnt is right, he should be careful with such statements. I think the way he said it was a bit harsh, and internet gremlins could see it as a reason to harass CJ. There's definitely a negative trend with CJ calling many spots unfair, as well as yelling at other players when they don't play the way he wants them to. Fir posing everywhere and the time Crafty didn't follow CJ's instructions come to mind.

1:07:33 I would love to throw my favorite grilled cheese into the ring. Fried egg grilled cheese. A fried egg sandwiched between two slices of cheese with bread and butter on the outside to grill it.
I discovered it one day when I wanted both a grilled cheese and a fried egg and just said for convenience I’ll put the fried egg in the grilled cheese.
Over easy with a bit of time to cool so the yolk is jammy works the best, however I’m sure you could do it with a sunny side up.
Call me weird, but there's nothing like a grilled sandwich with mature Gouda cheese, bacon, pineapple and mushrooms.
Cj said he told everyone he had to pee. I didn't hear it anywhere, so I checked cj's vod. He said it as quietly as possible as if he just wanted his stream to hear without discord picking it up. And then after the round was over, he jumps all over everyone because he said he left, but nobody heard him, not because everyone was talking over him, but they couldn't even hear him even if they tried.
Smant Fir Kirbs on a team would be hilariously unfair.

Smant and Fir were on the same team like a month ago against CJ and Kirbs and Smant/Fir absolutely wiped the floor with them to a degree where they had to reset the game after two rounds because their lead was so strong and CJ was being defeatist and talking about morals. Then after they reset, Smant and Fir thought the morality talk was funny and started goofing off and trolling about the "let's play a moral game!" talk by pushing it to such a comical degree that they hid in obvious spots and only moved from them once someone from the other team obviously spotted them and started to move towards them. And even with that obvious trolling and goofing off the Smant/Fir team didn't lose to the CJ/Kirbs team by very much in that round lol

Funny how CJ is smug, getting away with often roaming the map during team games to avoid being found, until he loses to someone elses spot (and boy does he always *_LOVE_* to play the victim), then suddenly everyone else is the problem and he tries to start drama. That Seaside spot is 100% a '10' morality. It abides by every rule of:
1. Giving accurate hints (and even more than requested)
2. Not looping
3. Not out of bounds/clipping
4. Made use of the legal 3rd party perspective cam for team coms
5. Captures are allowed
6. He was fully visible to be seen (not hiding inside of blocks)
7. Gave not 1, but 2 hint arts, even though the second was technically not required, but given in good faith
8. There was no crazy tech to reach him
9. Not hiding in the Odyssey
Also poor taste complaining about the entrance to the spot not being within the cell given, even though LilKirbs was never hiding inside of the well during any of the hints. LilKirbs spot is 100% pure valid, and he abided by every single rule I can contemplate.
definitely abided by rules and the comms are part of the game honesty the only spot in these rounds that could potentially be immoral was smants spot as a goomba but most Mario 64 maps are small so it basically didn't matter and you could see him from anywhere
but it was LilKirbs who hid there, not DGR

In regards to the sandwich argument at 1:07.00(ish). The bread for an egg sandwich does not need to be toasted if you have a good fresh bread. Only if its a day or two old, or if its the cheap sliced bread you can buy at any grocery store.
I think crafty is American so there aren't many places to get fresh bread most likely hes talking about sliced bread which, in my opinion should almost always be toasted or grilled because its mid
I know that there's some comments on this but CJ really needs to stop.
- The whole immoral/moral spot was never funny
- He calls anyone with better SMO knowledge skills "cheaters" when they don't cheat. Ironically due to this, he allows himself to cheat in videos because "well Person A cheated so why can't I, rules don't matter now"
- Berates people like Crafty who can't handle being under pressure
-Anyone who isn't a "cheater" is very telling of how he sees them. Normally very smug, brags and treats them as inferior. This is not just in hide and seek btw.

Honestly, the worst part of the edited group vids is cj schreeching/complaining. This vid was better, but the low points were definitely the arguments about morality that never ended once you all joined voice together.
If you guys want to make the hide/seek ratio fair without it being teams, you could allow the initial seekers to switch to a hider at any chosen point after finding at least 1 hider. It might not be a perfectly fair exchange, but if done well could be the play of the game.
I haven’t seen anyone mention this yet, but it is possible to do the lake kingdom painting jump without the scarecrow, it’s just a lot harder

I never comment on VODS. I've been watching yall's content for a while and CJ was such a buzzkill this game
He's smug when he can't be found then tries to delegitimize someone else's hiding spot when they can't be found. Kirbs was in no way cheating. He just took advantage of the "i checked, he's not there" system and no one looking up. You can even see him leaving through the pipe on GPB's screen! Then CJ says he's gonna brb so quietly no one else can hear him and rages about it afterwards. He could've asked for a redo on the Lake round Smant and his team were searching, but he didn't. He went straight to pointing fingers.
I normally enjoy having him around, but this time was just ugh. When he's winning, he's king of the world and no one is better than him. When he's losing, everyone is cheating, so it doesn't count
