I've been thinking about joining Betfair trading community,but I'm only really interested in horse racing and really can't afford the £50 a month. Just starting and working on a budget,coming from match betting background.

I like it, form is always important! Massey did some great work on why speed is so important.
I used a notebook and put my trades in order so I don't miss any.
It's great isn't it, sometimes the old ways are still great ways to do things!
Having a office is important. Put a sign on do not disturb. But young children and wives can't seem to read it.
I think my kids would think that would be a sign saying come in!
Hi Martin, I keep hearing the term, supertrader, full time trader, professional trader and just wondered roughly what is a daily/ weekly amount a supertrader would expect to earn?
This is a bit of a how long is a piece of string question but I will attempt to give you a good answer. Earnings will be relevant to talent level and bankroll size. If you have a £100 bankroll you aren't going to earn enough to live on for example, if you are a profitable trader with a £10,000 bankroll then may well make enough to live on. There will also be variance to earnings as a Betfair trader as it's not a salary job where you know exactly what you will earn each month. A super trader would not neccessarily be a pro yet they will be a good trader. A pro trader would be earning enough to cover their lifestyle and it would be there full time job. Amounts will differ from person to person.
is this £15k profit I can see from one strategy and if so over what period of time
It would be using £50 stakes from March 2021. Not a strategy I am tipping to follow, just the software being used for the background to the video.
have you ever solely just traded and if so did you find you needed to do something else not found many people that have done this most people tend to go into a side business doing a side hustle youtube videos-trading courses or just certain stations just making money complaining about other trading services I am finding I need to find something I can register as a business just as obviously trading is not classed as a job that does not help you out when you need to apply for something you need to have a normal job
Yes before and during the early years of BTC before it took off. If you are working now I always say try to cut to part time hours when you get good at trading and want to go pro. I agree it is nice to have a steady income stream each month. Having a partner who works is also helpful. Remember when you apply for jobs you can talk about the obstacles you overcame, so being a trader has it's own merits and is a skill, it doesn't have to restrict any future employment.
eh@@BetfairTradingCommunity not worked now for a few years since death of my dad trying to find out what I want to do still was a chef but not want to go back to it as not want to miss out on so much in life missed so many events-I do some work from home doing studies and surveys but still that is not classed as a job just a side hustle

What I've learned in this industry in the past 10 years is that it doesn't really matter what I do. Someone will always shout nonsense at me, right?
Example: Someone will say ‘you're not a trader’ and then I'll point to all the live trading videos that I have posted on UA-cam. And there's literally hundreds out there, by the way, if you ever want the proof.
So people saying I am not a trader are clearly not telling the truth. We're well known as traders. We've been doing it for 10 years. So to suggest I'm not a trader it just doesn't really make any sense.
And it's obviously not true, but people can shout it, and my point is they will still shout it.
Even though I've proved that it's not true, they will still shout it.

@james you are a legend sir!!! In what way has it been life changing for you?
@@BetfairTradingCommunity I now work 4 days a week rather than the 5 I used to so I am less tired and have the time to do the things I enjoy. It also gets me away from the negative people you have to work with in office based jobs.
In April I took my partner on a 14 night Mediterranean Cruise, it was amazing !! The 7k price tag was only affordable due to having a profitable strategy.. BTC helped me stay positive that there was a formular to give the edge on the draw market and more importantly BTC enabled me to form the exit strategy side.
so giving me the advice that I needed at the time I needed it was life changing
