Very cool! I have a Harrels tuner brake on my .22. Hopefully tommorrow I'm going to test settings for CCI SV. That rifle will shoot .3's or better at 50 yards (when I do my part consistently) with Lapua or Eley match ammo so I know the gun shoots. My best 4 shot group was a .13" with some Lapua Biathlon a guy at the range gave me. He is a sponsored shooter and he only gave me 10 rounds for testing as that particular variant of ammo is not publicly available. Thanks!!
From watching load development videos and thinking about it I believe the nodes are at the top and bottom of travel. The barrel whips up and down, changes direction at the top and bottom. At these 2 points the barrel is stopped. Like a pendulum, stops and changes direction. I notice it a lot on Johnny's reloading bench channel because he tends to line his targets up left to right. So providing the load or tuner changes being made are small enough to be within the same sine wave, just tune for highest or lowest point of impact shift. Anyway thats my theory.
What happened to the comment thread where you guys were talking about machining and removing burrs etc? I found most of what I read in that thread to be informative.
Real impressive for Hornady black.. tbh I’ve never had good results with the Hornady black in my aero 6.5 but can put 5 in a ragged hole with hand loaded 147eldms and H4350
20 TPI. .875 major and .850 minor thread. Our shop typically installs the EC tuner for our builds. Just saving money on my end by making my own for personal use
Nice work my friend. That 135 seems to like it up real close and then can still be a pain. I'm finding the 133 like's .25"-.045 depending on what cartridge and how hard you are pushing it. The 25 SST likes ..04-45" jump.
Thanks Anthony! Yeah can't wait to showcase the 25 SST. Had to move my targets to a different location so I gotta ruck the 1 mile target for the 25 sst through rough terrain
great stuff(! when i get my defiance ruckus action and brux barrel in 12 years can i send it to you to have it chambered in 6arc.and how do you like that woox chassis i was thinking about getting one for my build
Just starting on that caliber. Showing better results than these intermediate 308 head type cartridges. See Anthony Wards comment. We've both done lots of testing and is the owner of a very reputable precision shop. Thanks for sharing
Very impressive Kenny . Your Gunsmithing work is top notch 👍.
I love the names on your tuner, hilarious
I’m down to pick up one …. Gonna put my order in with a barrel purchase… thank you Kenny for the awesome video… you are a genius
Thats pretty awesome, Kenny! Its pretty cool to see how the harmonics can change with that.
I wonder what Erik Cortina would think of you using his idea and promoting it as your own..
@Lance Watkins I offered him a dealer discount 🤣... BTW I did give credit him the beginning so chillax. We install a lot of his tuners in our shop.
Very good on the tuner. Thanks for the video.

That’s pretty cool how it works
Awesome work👍

Can you share what the thread is, or how much the tuner moves when you adjust it? So frickin cool, keep it up!

I thought you were shooting 25mm wildcat, from the title.
I wish it was a 25mm lol
How would a shooter get a hold of you for custom barrel work on their Bergara BR14?
I ran 135s in my 25sst at 2900, 3080, 3150 all at 84 thousands jump and it shot .3-.4 at all velocities…

@@EagleEyeShooting 👌🏻
Awesome
Good stuff .
Do you sell those tuners?
Do you sale a 25x47L barrrel for ar10
tuners are the last thing a shooter should use when attempting to bring out the best performance of a barrel.
check out Harrels tuner/brakes.
Looks nice
Between you an EC I’d expect some ingenious shit. 😂
🤣👍👍
What is it with you guy's and those crap AR platforms 🤔. ???????????????
