Kurdistan isn't a country, Falafel is an ARAB food, he almost had a heart attack when you told him that Iraq may contain the oldest city in the World lol Great video as always, keep em coming street food videos man
That literally makes no sense. Iraq itself is 86 years old. Kurd's have existed there since the bronze age if not older. Descendants of Sumerians and Cyrtian's 220BC (Ancient Medians). The oldest civilization in middle east are the Sumerians, please educate yourself.
This comment really shows how uneducated some of yall are. First of all Kurdistan is not a country (yet) but the reason we say we are from Kurdistan is because we have our own nation state, language, culture, tradition and many many more aspects of our nation that separate us from Arabs. In 1922 Kurdistan had its own Kingdom, but you know how long that lasted? That’s right, only 2 years. Why? Because everyone are against the Kurds having an independent state. You name it, from the neighboring countries and America as well. The reason why America interfered and executed Saddam Hussein was because he was a dictator and he had a cruel and inhumane regime towards the Kurds. Go read through the history books and the documentaries made about what actually happened. Go read about his son and see what he did, not even to Kurds, but to Arabs. You see it’s so easy to ignore everything that has happened to the Kurds, the Arabs and anyone who was oppressed by him all because of goddamn oil that everyone claims to be theirs. it’s easy to look beyond the humanitarian crisis because if you talk about a nation that’s around 40 million People and all you fucking care about is a guy wants to identify himself as a Kurd, then you made your fucking point. and if you wanna know more, I’m a Kurd. And yes I’m not proud of what’s happening in Southern Kurdistan and in Iraq. No I’m not proud of those systems who only think for themselves rather than for the people. this is about people. The hardest thing for a Kurd to state is their identity up until to this day. To belong to a state that they can call their own. What if your identity was taken away and called another nationality that wasn’t your own? How would you feel? Remember this is not only the Kurds who are going through this hard time. There are the Catalonians, the Tibetans and so many more ethnic groups. So please read before you speak a false assumption.
Don't act like an ignorant guy. There are four parts of Kurdistan divided among four countries. The man in the video is referring to Kurdistan region in the north part of Iraq. You'd better invest some of your time to read, or gain some respect.

There's no such thing kurdistan it's north of Iraq 3 provenance irbel duhok and sulymania these are Iraqi provenances and everybody knows there's nothing named kurdistan
There is no such country called Kurdistan. It is just a big part of the north of Iraq that was given to a minority to be self-governed. Mosul is one of the greatest cities of Iraq and yes, it is in the north of Iraq too. As for the falafel guy saying Kurdistan is a safe and beautiful "country" so why doesn't he go back to it and live happily in it instead of being a street cook? No offence to street cooks, but it is a hard work and not very profitable although it is a respectful one.
there is no such country called Kurdistan... It's Arabic area at north of Iraq Kurdish people living on. I like Kurdish people as my grandma is Kurdish but it's not a country.

Palestinian and israel stole it from the palestinians like everything else ! What a relationship that has Russians and polans with falafel ??!! It is palestinian national food ! Israel is 70 years old and falafel is like since centuries there !
