I used to be against the embargo, until I researched and found out it was created because the Cuban government seized a bunch of private American citizens businesses on the island, that a lot of them created from scratch, without paying them. It's simple, I would support getting rid of the entire embargo if the Cuban government pays each American citizen who's business and livelihood it stole, back the full amount, at today's valuation of the dollar.
Keep doing research Ben. Maybe you'll help them get plantations back.

Trumps administration put new sanctions on Cuba and basically renewed the trade embargo. He is part of the reason Cuba is suffering economically.

United States does not limit the amount of, food, Medicine or any other goods to take over there. However, the Cuban government doesn’t allow that. I remember when Franco died and we wanted freedom but we were not with hungry in Spain because we were able to do bussines. My grandma Rest In Peace had to cross many countries to flee Cuba to get to the us , she told me a story I would never forget , a couple with their baby daughter was with my grandma and a bunch of other Cubans fleeing Cuba they were crossing from one country to another in a boat , a rival cartel boat starting shooting their boat , the captain started turning and the couples daughter fell off the boat and drowned , the couple hung themselves once they got to land , one of the many horrific stories .
