Just a note on printing items with tight tolerance. Use let's say the frame as a start point, anything that has to fit into a channel or hole must, model line placement in the slicer is something to consider. If you are printing with a 0.4mm nozzle you are working with a 0.2mm differential on either side of the print line. This can be compensated for on some slicers, however most slicers print nozzle center on model wall center line. For me in Creality, designing a 4mm peg for a 4mm hole wouldn't work. It would have to be a 4mm hole and 3.6mm peg, as an example. This is all slicer based and of course printer quality based, some slicers have a fix for this. Also, some printers have Gcode modifications to address it.
Nice read
I printed out The Harlot, a derringer pistol, in purple PETg-CF. Really complicated but I plan to assemble it as a display model only. It looks great in the matte purple I chose.
It's such an awesome print! Could you maybe leave the files in the description for the 3d printed pegs? I also have problems finding the proper screws for this build. Keep up the good work!
coreross? the heck, this is awesome, ive been looking for fidget gun toys cuz guns are so satisfying to load and unload, i didnt realize it was you until i heard your unforgettable voice, been watching your siege stuff for eons. love you man, keep it up
As an American, the fact that this was going to be a prop gun was not immediately clear. When I read the title, I thought someone in the fosscad community was actually brave enough to make a .357 lol
This fqt obviously baited us intentionally.
@@bravefastrabbit770 Or you're lacking logical thinking faculties. What part of it is bait as opposed to labelling what the video is about? Does it mention shooting a 3D printed revolver?
@@bravefastrabbit770no need to use slurs smh
Im part of the 3d printed (real) gun community, so I was like a magnum revolver in PLA??😂
you can make and fire one, once
Same 😂😂😂
What kind of 3d printer do you use?
@@spookytreez3402 Ender 3v2
Such a cool print
What kinds of screws and springs did you use? I have the exact same revolver, but I don't know what extra parts I need
There is a pdf in the files you download with the instruction on what you need. I made custom models out of a few cylinders to match the screws and printed them of
How long did it take
Could u do more of these videos

Hey Ross, long time follower of your main channel. Happy to see this new channel. What 3D printer do you use? I have wanted to get into 3D printing but don't know where to start. Appreciate you!
I've got a Ender-3 S1 Pro 3D Printer. I've only just started so not sure I have much good advice to give you
I still don't understand how people make the star, figure out how to make the action rotate the cylinder etc.
It's too much for my brain to comprehend and it's real math...Too spooky.
Designing semi-autos is way easier
What is the name of the 3d program you are using ?
The model is not made by me, link to the source in the description
I love this revolver imma 3d print it but i have a questiion before, ¿does it shoots?
Nope
oh ok thx btw
Bunu sadece baskı kalitesi ve prüz seviyesi için beğeniyorum.
Oyuncak olarak yapıldığının farkındayım.
Hey dude please I beg of you can you send me the models of the pegs
I never retained them as they were just a few cylinders at the sizes given in the originally guys instructions on what size screws to use
@@corerosstech thank you I’ve recently modeled them this morning have a great day.
@@Black_Hole_Vr Could you please upload them and send them here? i just printed it all and realized i dont have the screws
@stormy_in_vr640 they didn't work well but you can melt the cover piece and it still works fine but you will need the screw for the cylinder at the minimum for strength.
