That was such a beautiful thing you did for Mr.Smith... Ignoring ur fear and just staying with him was totally the right thing to do... Your compassion for another human being is why im sure ur probably a wonderful nurse... Some aren't meant to be care givers but clearly u are... ❤
The story with the nurse I had tears in my eye's,I'm a nurse myself and have looked after many residents in the home where I work. The place is very old and I have also had quite a few spooky experiences on many a night.
I honestly took a break from your channel. Not on purpose. I just got distracted. I searched you up again and now I can sleep soundly again. It's raining, my kids are home from school, I have the day off from work, and I'm laying down listening to this while I get ready to nap. Perfection.
100% and he tried to argue his way out. Naw you should have said I'm not trained and the boss would have been like okay let's find someone else then. Hope he learns before he does something like this again.
@TheBlueHutch Bosses forget things. By his own admission, he didn't even try to remind the boss of his lack of training, he must hopped right in the truck. If the place was otherwise managed well enough and the boss just forgot what his training was, a reminder from the worker that he wasn't qualified would not have gotten him fired.. because in a place like that with such large equipment, a good manager would know the importance of appropriate qualifications not just to please OSHA but because accidents like what happened would cost the company tons of money and would have likely made them liable if the guy had died.
The mr Smith story made me cry.. poor man scared and alone. It’s so kind that nurse stayed with him. God bless her and I hope mr Smith made it to a better place.. 😞
Pick up phone, call OSHA, then personal injury attorney. You neck and back is screaming in pain. No way to disprove whiplash and nerve injury. I've been through this. You were ordered into a large commercial vehicle without an operater license and without any training, not even how to apply the air brakes??!! He was in a dream situation that could have paid his bills for years to come. Foremen and bosses like that should not be supervising a janitor service let alone a large equipment job site. I received $230k for falling off a scaffold and breaking my left leg and 4 ribs and wrist. My "boss" ordered me up there without hooking in. 3 stories up. The Mexican guys all did it without safety equipment so why couldn't I? Well I was 20 at the time and had only mixed mud and stacked bricks up till that point so I was new at working on scaffolding. They tried to have Rico (real name) drive me to the hospital to get checked out. I immediately called an ambulance and was taken to the ER. My boss fired me over it and I called OSHA. He was sweating bullets according to the call I got from a buddy on site after. Relieved a massive fine, the company took a HUGE fine and had to retrain all employees on safety regs and 7 lost their jobs for not even being legal or paying taxes like the rest of us. Turns out he was paying them $50 a day cash. Boss was then terminated too. I bought a new car, a new Harley and put 120k down a house. DREAM SITUATION for 4 months off injuries and a few good Norco prescriptions. Nowadays you'll only get ibuprofen 800. It was a vacation that set my future all over that jagoffs attitude and recklessness for our safety. He got what he had coming
I personally don't run that heavy strip mine equipment but I am a fan of watching vids on them working, and I have learned those massive dumpers are usually the same in weight as their payloads are supposed to be, for example the largest that i know Cat to make is around a 400 tons payload, and the truck is very close in weight, and the price for a new one is over 2 mill. In price and around a year to build, ship and assemble on site.
Story 1 : you do realize YOU take yourself to the hospital no matter what your boss says, the immediately call OSHA while your there telling them your boss ordered you into a specialized large vehicle you were not qualified or trained to operate and what happened including not even being shown how to apply the air brakes and that your now injured and were wrongfuly terminated for this. Them sit back and watch OSHA bend your ex boss over his desk and proceed to... well, you know..., while your attorney sues that company for wrongful termination and medical bills and emotional stress to make you whole again. You were in a DREAM situation there bud and you just ate it? God i wish some A-hole foreman or site supervisor would put mein that situation. Id "accidentally" forget my phone was recording too for good measure. Anyway that would be my last shift till a very comfortable early retirement. Live and learn i guess.
Scary stuff at the Car wash!! 😮 I dont think you have to worry about the man that saw you if he had a mask on. You couldn't see his face so couldn't identify him anyway. I don't think he'd want to take time to find you and commit another crime that he could get caught doing for no reason. You know? They killed that man cuz he stole drugs from them it seems like. Love and light to you. Glad you didn't get hurt and sorry for those who did and your uncle, it was not his fault! ❤❤❤
@@RotRot-jn9vk aside from the money to own a home, a stove to cook the ramen and buy the cheese since ramen is still relatively cheap enough to buy with change found in a parking lot, buy a cozy blanket and the computer, speakers and broadband connection to watch the video lol
That first one. Is that guy restarted? How the hell do you blame the boss when all he had to do is say " I'm not comfortable driving that. I have zero training"
Call the old hag the old woman there's lots of different names for it but the main one the real one is sleep paralysis now you know😂 and it happens to me quite often😮
These comments are blaming that first guy. The boss is just much to blame. He should know what his employees are capable of and not just throw anybody in a brand new huge a** equipment like that. They're both idiots. Smh
@@Astraea7522 I understand people lie of course. But my comments still stands. he should know what they're capable of before he throws them in brand new equipment at least. He's to blame if he was lying and the boss is to blame for not being diligent.
they both should've been fired. The manager for not being aware he has abject morons working for him and the complete moron for fucking around on equipment he KNOWS he doesn't know how to use but decides to use anyway.
You could blame the boss, too. He should know what his employees are capable of, something that expensive and brand new and you just throw anybody in? Nah
That first story just makes me angry. "My BoSs wOuLdNT aSk mE tO dO sOmEtHiNg he dIdNt tHiNk i wAs cApAbLe oF" Sir if youve never driven one, why the hell would you try? And his boss could get into BIG HUGE trouble for allowing him to drive sometning he isnt certified on.
it's very believable, except the moron who drove the truck into the pit was probably a smug, cocky jackass who thought he was amazing at everything and is nothing more than a dunning kruger incomp who couldn't be trusted to plug in a toaster let alone operate a truck.
Im not trying to be rude BUT, if you knew you couldn't drive that truck you shouldn't have... I don't understand how you get off blaming ur boss for your ignorance... Your lucky you walked away from that job with your paycheck!!

Fantastic narration, I usually fall asleep to your videos.
Thank you, DP. These were some eye-opening stories! And a very Happy New Year to you and yours.
I think the patient in Room 417 was appreciative that the nurse stayed with him, and I hope he was able to move on into the afterlife.

That first story gave me anxiety. Falling down into a pit like that is nightmare fuel.
Why didn"t he tell his boss that he didn't know how to drive that monster dump truck?
Well I mean his boss thought he could do it haha

First question was answered by the comment before.
What is with you and work stories?
It's something lots of people love and send in, what do you mean?!
Do you not understand what a theme or series is?
Why do you think it's called "Tales from the break room"?
The first story is completely beloney 😂

Dude, the stories are getting really lame, a dump truck going over a cliff? Sunsubbed, i resub when the stories are actally scary again.
He saw how angry they were through the masks, huh 🙄
you can see furrowed brows and angry eyes pretty clearly when someone has a bandana covering their face and can see sneers through a ski mask.

it's entirely believable. Incompetence is at record highs.
