This song is growing on me quickly. At first I thought it was too slow, but now I think you just need to hear and understand every damn word. Oddly enough, it reminds me of something out of Pink Floyd's The Wall.
I was present for this. My wife and I went. Like everyone I found him through "rich men" I was watching a buddies tiktok video and Rich Men North Of Richmond was playing in the background and I totally lost track of his video and was pulled in by the voice and lyrics and I clicked on the track and found Chris/Oliver. I fell in love with his music. I love the voice and lyrics and it's like he's speaking to all of us out there that love "country" and songs about life. This term gets tossed aroudn a lot but he is damn treasure. This concert will go down as one of my all time favs. I can't wait for the real album to drop. I won't lie, I've audio copied most if not every video from here and tiktok with his songs. Oliver is amazing. We started out at the very top of the bleachers and worked our way down during the second or third run of Rich men being played and was almost as close as this video when he sang this. Gave me chills.
