Question: does ea make your good team suck when playing against a shitty overall team? I’ve got a pretty good team and I swear whenever I play a crappy team, my players are like half the speed they normally are. I just had my tots mcdavid burned by a 85 Kane! So what’s the point in making a good team if they do this!

Yeah dude i feel you with the Squad Battles objectives with this Bonino card. It took me FOREVER to just get the 45 goals done. I still only have 18-19 assists for the 35 assists one. I don't have a huge OP squad and this card at 95 would help a lot in the mean time, but its definitely a bit grindy
It's a game bro... it's supposed to be challenging. You're supposed to have to work to unlock things, that's just how things work. It seems like everyone just wants free handouts

Wasn't too bad way easier if you position lock to center and just feed the opponent the puck.
I locked to centre skate baxk to your goal and pull your goalie they’ll shoot it along the ice
Hey sleeves how is it that the TOTS cards upgrade? I remember you mentioning they have the ability to go up I just don’t recall how you said they would or if you have to do something specific in order to upgrade them?
14-5 in hut champs this week and im using a panthers theme team. This game is so arcade-y most players don’t even know hockey they just do the same 2 ways to score over and over. Hope NHL25 gameplay is wayyyy different

Or first starting out and all your players are low 80’s still matching up with teams 95 overall doing the same 1-2 goals lol. Now my defence is 87 overall it’s fun crushing those cheeeesy smcuks
45 goals to get one token. Grinding in rookie squad battles and goalies turn prime Hasek against Bonino (everyone else can score with no problem)
Jets fan here- I do want a Canadian team to win it, I’d prefer Edmonton because mcdavid deserves to cement himself in history, but I don’t mind Vancouver either
I agree the Millennium event was one of the best ever in HUT. The thing is they did recreate it this year with the Gallery of Greats event. Just needed to point that out as you keep saying they didn’t do it this year when they did very early on.
100% in agreement they went that route for GoG, but that was it. Then they went back to pre - NHL 22 and made MSP require full cost no upgrading meaning you couldnt break them down.
By far the worst event was the Trade deadline that was an absolutely disaster.

I gave up on the Bonino Moments with the blocked shots. I gave the other team the puck over and over and layed in front of my net and after 2 games I had a total of 1 block….
About your cheering for other Canadian teams. I 100% root for a Canadian team to win when my Habs are out. I mean the Leafs are at the bottom of that list, but I’d take a Leafs cup over any American team winning!
At least neutral zone, not just the offensive zone. Just not the defensive zone
Took me 3 or 4 tries to get those blocks. The time limit was a huge factor. All the rest were so easy.
100% rooting for another Canadian team regardless if I am a Calgary fan. Too long since the cups been in Canada!

This Bonino is sick for my Rangers theme team, would be awesome if EA would upgrade TOTS Panarin and Fox

I'll cheer for Vancouver and maybe Calgary or Edmonton but definitely not any of the east teams except florida and the islanders. I do live in california however so it may be different
im a leafs fan from day one and i wouldnt hear the end of it if vancouver won the cup as most of my friends are nucks fans living in bc... after the leafs get knocked out i cheer for my fave players.. rantanen and hintz being some of my faves im cheering for the winner of dallas colorado series. and in east as long as boston or florida dont win lol

Lol @sleeveless i feel you when you were talking about being frustrated playing nhl when your struggling vs playing mlb when your struggling and how mad u get with the NHL vs the mlb... its completely opposite for me ive broken more controllers playing mlb vs any game in my life if i struggle in nhl it is wat it is.. but I played baseball IRL my whole life and I know its a videogame but I expect to be able to play as well as I do in life but nooo I suck lol.. so i feel you get frustrated with nhl because you feel its suppose to be your go to game and you prolly feel this is my game I shldnt struggle at all at this
