It's very tough. You are blessed by God himself. My son was born with cerebral palsy. We had to deal with some of the same type of issues. Hearing him choke all night. Never got any sleep. But now he's 31 years old. Lives with us. I shattered my back a year before he was born. I believe God gave me this gentle man to take care of. And after all the years of having to pick him up, my back for the most part is healed. My son is the biggest blessing in my life. After my wife. Thank you for the testimony. You two are blessed. Maybe someday we'll meet.
Sorry to read about your son&I pray the Lord will heal him&I think he is Blessed to have you it sound's&I'm a single dad with a dreaded illness&grew up in WestMonroe,La&have met Jason(Jase)&Missy&they are truely good people&have helped me in several way's&the entire Robertson Family are truely good American's&do a lot for our community in WestMonroe&Ouachita Parish,we don't have counties in Louisiana,lol we are the only state with Parishes.

Understand the feeling. I had a cleft pallet when I was born. My oldest daughter was born with one and she is now 27. My youngest son was born with spina bifida, the worst kind mylomingacell. The journey is long but so well worth it!! It's an everyday adventure. God bless!!! The children we have are miricales in their own right!

that's amazing I had my own run in with the Lord myself my daughter has a brain tumor since she was 2 years old I thought she was a gone when I got the news that s what was wrong I went to the chapel in the hospital alone I fell to my knees crying like a baby asking God to please help me please let me keep my baby girl an in an instant I went from crying sad to tears of joy an I can't tell u why but I have a really good idea the Lord spoke to me not by voice but by feeling I felt this love this overwhelming feeling of joy an I knew at that point she was gonna be fine sure enough 10 years later she's still with us an I'm grateful everyday god is great especially when you are at your lowest in life he will pick u up an show u the way the only way is the Lord god bless everyone p.s I'm a Louisiana guy to would love to meet you guys one day

Love this family and their consistent message that God is good. The odds are good that we'll never understand some of the things that happen to us in this realm... nor are we owed an explanation in the next realm. But a proper response to trials and suffering will indeed produce character.

My son was born with a cleft lip and palette. We found out the day he was born.
I was born with a cleft lip had wonderful support from my family as well. It makes all the difference.
