That was the first time in a long time that Roman got booed like a true heel. I imagine Roman will always appreciate Sami for giving his character that reaction.
Also this may just be his character work but I'd like to think that Roman can't hide his smile when the crowd cheered for Sami and he disguised it as a demeaning look
Can we appreciate the interaction between Roman and Sami's wife. Roman telling her : "I just wanted us to all be togeter, I wanted this( making a sign of a family together) He betrayed me". And she answer to him : "Nooo you didn't, he loved you." This add to Sami's persona that he actually really cared for the bloodline they Roman's went to far. What a match. Paul Heyman is just hilarious. His facial expressions, his antics his trying to fight KO was just too much😂😂 I don’t think he gets enough credit for his role in WWE!!
In my opinion Montez Ford was the highlight of the men’s Elimination Chamber. The way he was booked he looked super powerful even hitting a rock bottom seeming out of nowhere. If they wanted to make him like a real mid card champion then mission accomplished. I’m invested in Montez Ford.

A great PPV. The US Title chamber match was probably match of the year already. Not 1 of the competitors came out of it looking bad. Gargano put on a real show and so did Montez. Bronson Reed is gonna be an absolute star.

I think my only issue with the main event is that it didn’t really give us an answer to the looming Wrestlemania question. If this all leads to KO and Sami winning the tag team titles, I feel like that’s a wasted ending for this.

I don't know if those are Sami's or his niece and nephew but they were ready to jump when Roman started going after their aunt/mom which I always love. Similiar to Lacey Evan's daughter attempting to scratch Sasha Banks during their feud.
The last match had me in tears, shaking and my jaw was dropped through the entire match. I 100% already think this is gonna be better than the wrestlemania match, and I think it could get match of the year. 10/10

@@jrsmith1998 This comment is unintentionally hilarious
@@yan_dj lol. Seriously I don’t know what 10, 20, 30 is referencing. Please informe me
@@jrsmith1998 AND your name is JR smith lmao, Bret won at WM10, Benoit won at WM 20, Bryan won at WM 30, and Sami will win at WM 40, Roman's winning WM 39 because they want to get to 1000 Days for him before he drops it
@@dan7291able i might add that it's not only on the 10s as of now, but also at 5s, i'm referring to 35 when we got Kofimania and The Man. well maybe 35 only because we didn't get a nice underdog win on 5, 15 and 25.
Good shit 🔥🔥🔥🤙🏽
Nights like last night are the reason I love pro wrestling. You don't get it all the time or even that often but when you do get that night where everything...the story, the performers, the crowd..it all coalesces and you get nights and moments like last night. There really is nothing like it. Great video as well, Simon. Safe travels.
Luv the picture of the CN Tower in the back drop. Is Simon in TORONTO?
If so: Welcome! Hope you enjoy your stay.
Crowd was the star of the show.
Simon is the best, Simon number one 👏👏
I think my only issue with the main event is that it didn’t really give us an answer to the looming Wrestlemania question. If this all leads to KO and Sami winning the tag team titles, I feel like that’s a wasted ending for this.
Absolutely. In no world should any of this lead to any variation of Jey vs Sami.
This ends with Sami winning it all at WM 40
@@BossofBosses111 that’s what this feels like it SHOULD be going towards, but the finish/aftermath kinda felt like they might not have that in the cards.
How in the hell is Wrestlemania gonna top this PPV, that was all I could think after it went off the air. Elimination Chamber was freaking insane! Damn near perfect. Especially that main event!
As a Montrealer who attended, it was quite the experience, happy to be apart of that wild crowd, Chanting the Seth Rollins theme was a bucket list dream come true man, total blast! Just wished Cody could of popped up or something lol, but otherwise , got to see a lot of superstars in the flesh, it was really great
Thanks Simon
Overall Elimination Chamber was amazing last night
I love it Simon is so passionate about it he forgot to say flub
Btw did anyone else see the two kids ready to jump Roman besides Sami's wife? I don't know if those are Sami's or his niece and nephew but they were ready to jump when Roman started going after their aunt/mom which I always love. Similiar to Lacey Evan's daughter attempting to scratch Sasha Banks during their feud.
I wasn’t expecting simon to not say flub and I was pleasantly shocked.
Everyone involved in both chamber matches got their chance to shine and it was fantastic. My only complaint is that I feel like Sami should have won.
The last match had me in tears, shaking and my jaw was dropped through the entire match. I 100% already think this is gonna be better than the wrestlemania match, and I think it could get match of the year. 10/10
Only match I thought was a letdown was Brock vs Lashley the rest was great . Plus I thought Jey was gonna cost Sami the title and he didn't so still interested to see where it goes
I think it will end up in Usos vs Sami/KO for Tag team championship at WrestleMania..
The crowd made the show
sami and roman match.. easily candidate for match of the year. great PLE.. the POP sami got was something special
When the 3 was counted on Sami, never heard a crowd go that quiet before.
13:37 I believe this is the first time I’ve heard Simon Miller not censor himself 😂
I think he was expecting Phil to censor it! He didn't! 🤣🤣
If the plan isn’t to split the titles at mania then it’s the wrong move. I want Sami to win more than ever now.
"I go home and see my parents and they tell me how I really feel"
whoa
Great PLE. Sami vs Roman was insane!
Was a hell of a main event Sami deserved it !!
This Elimination Match was the reason I never gave up on WWE, when they are good, they are amazing
I wonder why WWE doesn't do more in Canada? The crowds are always electric. The three shows that I've attended (2 Raws and a smackdown) were always hijacked by the crowd coming up with hilarious chants!
Wait for SD and MITB 2023 in London...
The Gargano/Rollins dive was terrifying. This ppv was full of why I love wrestling.
Roman reigns vs Samy Zayn is very good storytelling. Everything from start to finish is good. I know people upset about samy not winning it but not everything we want can get.
People gotta understand just because it makes sense short term doesn't mean it will long term
I think ppl are happy even if they didn't get what they wanted. The story didn't get ruined ( like, if they just did a squash match that would have sucked big time ), and we still want to see what is gonna happen next !
Simon, why is the CN tower in the background? That's in Toronto. Montreal, is in a completely different province
I mean.... Imagine if bray comes out Monday and challenges both to a monsters ball match ( I know it probably can't be called that but same concept)
Wait, why is there an image of Toronto in the background. That's not Montréal!
That main event was pure gold, best match I’ve seen that I can remember due to the storytelling and emotional investment over such a long time!
Acknowledging The Rock Bottom Simon you get a Golden Up, this match had me 🤩🫡
He tried a people's elbow too lol but Reed clotheslined him
