Taxi Ride With Matthew Hayden | BwC S3E3
    9 Lakhs+ Views
Haydos is here with us taking a taxi ride in the famous Bombay Kaali Peeli for a classic breakfast at a classic location. The Mongoose bat ace star Matthew Hayden tells Gaurav Kapur about his family made themselves self-sustained, which helped him become a popular cook in the Australian dressing room. He explains his onions & tomatoes theory and how he applied it in cricket, his 6 hours practice session with his brother, and why he like to sit for hours behind the stumps.
Know when he wasn't allowed to talk to Brian Lara and why he finds it tough to travel back home from India.

      True man 😊
his shot making was incredible , no hanky panky scoop poop paddle , just strong straight long powerful shot making with great timing 😊
i mean scoops are something too , but nowadays most people overuse that cause they are not good enough to play straight & hit long

My favourite batsman of all time.
I thought he was an absolute run monster in 1st class cricket in Aust, from the moment he came on the scene and I knew he would succeed on the big stage, despite a rocky start.
Great watching him, just walking down the wicket and cracking it over mid on for six.

Watching Mathew Hayden as a teenager just meant dominance! That imposing physique along with those thundering shots! There great players in that Australian team but I always personally felt India can only win if they got him.

Brilliant episode, as always! All the interviews are so refreshing, and your casual style of interviewing brings out some gems from the guests.
Just one request. Could you make a blooper reels sort of thing for all the seasons. That'd be a lot of fun to watch :)

Haydon has an amazing personality, I had seen playing live in Nehru Stadium, Pune where he had hit six off Zaheer's bowling, that sweet noise of his bat I can still recall like it was yesterday. He and McGrath both were playing and they are taller than most of the other players around him so I could see them both in the whole crowd 😂
