FELICIANO.
Great singer and guitarist! He inspired a lot of young guitar players of my age.At the time of that performance at Sanremo festival I was 15 and this song has made me remembered nice days of my youth.Thank you.
Im pretty sure he was singing to his "small little town on a hill in Lares, Puerto Rico, a place he left as a teenager with his mom. As many puertoricans did in 50s an 60s, she left in search for better oportunities for her talented, belove blind son, Jose... He began singing with his guitar at Henry Street in Manhattan, collecting coins in his hat.... humble beginning for one the world's greatest stars..
on the short list of the greatest guitarists to ever walk the face of the earth.......and also blessed with an incredibly soulful and emotive voice. one of the most underrated artists of modern entertainment age.
i love this song, take me back when i was in high school and left all my friends , families , relatives and my little town...after that, everthing changed in my life...now are just memories...don't know when will see them.. thanks jose feliciano...
BRAVISSIMO
The song was written for Jose Feliciano by Jimmy Fontana to participate at the San Remo Festival in 1972. This is the original. Jose released the song in a Italian, Spanish and English version.
Jose Feliciano WILL BE GUEST IN SANREMO 2012 again! The evening of the Festival dedicated to old international hit, Thrusday 16 He will sing again Che Sarà in duet with a young italian singer called Arisa who partecipate this year at the festival. So all we see again Jose Feliciano on the same Festival where He was presented the big hit Che Sarà in 1971.
Jose Feliciano, great hit, I remember this presentation, there was great expectation in Latin America to see if he was going to win in that prestigious festival in 70's
I don't know why this song wasn´t the 1st. place in San Remo's 1971. It's a classic. I love it in spanish. 41 years after it's incredible yet. Regards from Mexico city

Hi. That is the question, many times you do not need to understand the lyrics but only the feeling will speak to your heart. Through the XX century that happened with popular music in several languages, mostly in English. The Beatles, Sinatra, Piaff and many others are famous around the world only because the music and the feeling charmed their fans. Most Americans should open their ears to foreign popular music the way you did.
