It's not a turbo, why compare it to them? The rzr XP is in the same class as the XX.

Who provides the engines? I heard yamaha? And any difflock vids coming to compare to polaris? Is the 1800lb weight loaded and wet or dry?

Yamaha and the new xx have the same problem. Both want turbo money for a non turbo machine. Compare apples to apples, the xx is just priced to high.
Somebody please tell Textron is late to market... terrible it’s so underpowered compared to every other sxs.. should be embarrassed.. it needs 180hp+ at least the option!
One of your complaints is the seatbelt rubs your neck, wow I can see where that would be a major problem.
How was it in the sand dunes?

Did the tie rods fail or you just saying this because they look small?
Dan Matz We did have one kink... Going up a vertical wall.
How does turning radius compare? How does visibility in technical areas compare?
What happens when the tie rods kink up? I dont rock crawl, is the tie rod issue mainly while crawling?
Robert Hierholzer The tie rod most likely WILL NOT be an issue for 95% of owners... nasty rock ledges may present a problem. We have punished this one and did bend one.

Great review thank you!! How does it feel rock crawling steep sections. Could It go up and back trying to climb out of the larger hot tub in Moab without feeling like it’s going to tip over backwards.
Joey Hyer It is amazing rock crawling! Yes I believe it will handle the big hot tub no problem.

So, really nothing amazing going on here from textron. Some new suspension geometry, that seem about it. Everything else is a yawn.

pnbliveca here is a RZR Turbo beating a Wildcat XX on perfectly flat surface. Not by alot. The speed limits on all these machines are set by the manufacturer. A simple ECU flash for $400 will get rid of that limit. My 2016 Rzr 900 will do 90mph no problem now. Its hard to find a trail I can do 90 on though. I dont have a desert or dunes just dirt roads and some 2 track trails.

No desert races won,1816pds, SOFT suspension he is lieing by the way.no turbo only 125hp,still using shitty tierods.no thanks ill spend 2 more grand and get a 172hp turbo maverick that has won desert races and is winning on the short tracks
is the weight an issue? 1800+ is heavy.
Rodney Sessions I had a Honda pioneer 1000 that weighs about that( wet) and it wasn't too bad in the mud, but everything else it did great. This wildcat is better in every category.
I think 1800 lbs for a rig like this will be an amazing thing.
Its heavy as crap. Made me turn away and polaris got my money last week.
I waited a year for this machine. Everything is awesome. But 1800lbs is a heavy beast for only 20hp more than a 2018 xp1k. Non turbo

Lmao. Power to weight and simple math. Its not hard. 20 crank hp more does not move 440 lbs. 2018 rzr xp1k is 110hp and weighs 1360lbs.
Xx 130hp and 1800lbs. And a alternator on a belt doesnt work well in mud
