I'm surprised that the B didn't win. You mentioned the Narada... I want to say the reason why the Constitution Refit out-performed the Excelsior version was because it was faster and more maneuverable. Watching the Excelsior's fight was painful as slow and cumbersome as it seemed.
This mostly makes sense. I read that the JJ-Prise was roughly as powerful as the Enterprise-A because the scans of the Narada allowed Starfleet to jump ahead about 30 years. The Enterprise B should have defeated the JJ-Prise pretty convincingly as the Excelsior Class is considerably more powerful than the Connie Refit Tranche 2. That Enterprise B is perhaps not well balanced.
@@TheUltraMinebox Its been a while, but yeah, some of the books, and comics from around 2009 when the film came out. Maybe that Countdown comic? But I recall the phasers, were intentionally made to look like the pulse phasers, with their banks, on the Connie refit from the TMP films.
But there's not just tech level but size and design philosophy as well. The JJverse had less history and less, well, smug confidence when the Nerada destroyed Vulcan than the Prime Federation had at Wolf 359 so their reaction was the Vengance compared to the Prime universe Defiant. And in much the same way, the earlier appearance of the narada resulted in a bigger 1701 with more weight to throw around as well. Pound for pound the JJ Enterprise and the B were probably a match but the JJ ship was still bigger, faster and more maneuverable which made all the difference.
@@johnassal5838 I rewatched and maneuverability was a major issue for the E-B. Badger couldn't hit the same shield faces, and also couldn't avoid facing his weak shields.
To clarify, Excelsior herself wasn't much more powerful than a Connie refit. Its biggest advantage was structural. When you get to 1701B, yeah, it definitely was more powerful. I still feel they have JJprise way OP. Not Millennium Falcon level...

I'm a couple years behind ya and right!? We are in a golden age of "fan" made trek. Some of the stuff that is out there to see right now is just unbelievable.
You had a few torpedoes miss with the TMP Refit which didn't help. A bit more accuracy there and it probably wouldn't be as close. Still, good to see the old girl take down that abomination.
Geordi told Scotty in "Relics" that much of the tech they had in that era is very similar to what Scotty is used to, so it makes sense that 23rd century folks could back-engineer from scans of the Narada (Romulan and Starfleet tech can be assumed to be similar and compatible from the multiple times we've seen them interface, and because Romulans probably stole a bunch of it anyway, sometimes even with identical bridge layouts to Starfleet ships like in "The Die Is Cast"), whereas back-engineering a Borg cube just from scanning it might be more complicated because it's design was so alien they couldn't make heads or tails of it.
I believe you got it right on with the Enterprise Refit but I just can't believe that the Refit was more powerful than the Enterprise B according to this game
@10:44 Oh don't stop now! It has done made us angry bring out the 1701-D! And then the E. This random Otherprise was a bully to our favorite earlier ships!

Interesting similarities between the C and the Kelvin. Both with the thicker warp coils and nacelles vs the longer, but smaller warp coils of the A and B.

Damn, Narada really changed timeline. No wonder USS Vengeance was able to fire phasers in warp. Altough Kelvin-Khan (also yet another timeline alteration) had some input.
Surprised to see the Enterprise B do so badly, its shields and weapons are at low strength, probably missing some components that won't be installed until Tuesday 😂🤣.
Connie Refit...that is exactly where I placed the JJ Connie in terms of strength. The Excelsior class lost a lot of manoeuvrability over the Connie and so was more of a sitting duck despite its own improved weapons. Connie Refit was fast and agile enough to stay within blind spots
Could we get a Romulan War battle? Like, have an NX-refit or two, a couple of Daedalus-class ships and a few Ganges-class ships against a fleet of 22nd Century Romulan warships? That seems like it would be really cool to see and game out.

The only 'logical' thing I'll give the Kelvin universe is that Starfleet was still more militarised when they scanned the Narada compared to when the prime D scanned the Cube and they had thirty years to figure out the data not 18 months.
the way I see it even if the kelvin had decent scans of the narada starfleet reverse engineering what they got data on wouldn't bridge the gap from post nemesis E-E era tech entirely. the kelvin big E should land right about A or B of the prime timeline so this actually fits in quite well.
So at the end of star trek Picard season 1 we got to see the inquiry class ready to battle some tal shiar ships but they never did so if there's a mod for those two ships that would be really cool if we could see what would happen if the two fought each other
Not wanting to put blame on a certain type of phaser from a certain alternate timeline too much, but the moment Starfleet starts installing noise cancellation armor on their ships, this kind of weapon might become next to useless. Good thing the Connie Refit could do it (albeit just barely)! I am absolutely astonished though by the fact that the Excelsior was just... disposed of... so quickly. Excelsior 2.0 saw this and got angry, I'm sure!
I'm actually curious why the Enterprise-B appeared to have a worse time of it than both refit Connies. Still, that's pretty definitive that the Kevin Timeline Enterprise is about the equal of both the Movie Connie and Excelsior Refits.
Agreed, but mostly it seemed like the B just couldn't maneuver well enough. The B should have trounced the JJ-verse as close as the Constitution Refit fight was, but it just kept crawling along eating hits.
@@J.Falchetti I'm with you on this, I get that the D would be bigger, but I see the B (and Excelsior class in general) as just a tank, it should have been able to just keep the hits coming. It must have been good, they kept using them all the way through the 24th century even with Galaxy and Intrepid class ships.
@@cujoedaman Agreed. The B should have won. Given how it played out though, I can only figure that it lost because it was eating more hits than it was landing. (Though I feel the need to point out that by the time of the Galaxy class, Excelsiors were considered transport ships rather than battleships or even explorers anymore, that has no relevance to the B's ability to take out a Kelvin Constitution class.)
I always though in my head that the "Kelvin verse" Enterprise would be on par with the Enterprise-C, but the Galaxy class would most certainly be too much for the Kelvin version.
I call that bullsh*t on the Kelvin enterprise. There is no way in hell that primitive federation could have scanned the ship from the future. If it was that easy then the non-canon nx would have been able to scan every future ship it came across.
I wish remastered also had the increased damage effects in the hull like in kobayashi maru, thats the bad thing about remastered, when a torpedo hits you and the hull only has an scratch, but the hull integrity goes to 10 percent
Enterprise C makes sense, although I’m a little surprised only due to the fact the Narada is further in the timeline along the times or ending times of enterprise D.
Admiral - You still have a bad habit of turning your weakest shield towards the enemy, when a turn in the opposite direction, would have given a much stronger shield to take incoming fire.
I think that people are severely overestimating just how powerful JJ Enterprise is. Despite the Narada interference/incursion, the survivors may have scanned the Narada in shuttles, but I doubt they would have been able to gleam useful information from that since Narada shields would have largely blocked those scans - and even if SF did manage to scan it somehow after the Kelvin disabled it, what makes people sure SF would be able to get useful data? That said, the Narada encounter would have prompted a different direction for the JJ ENT, and while the ship would likely be more powerful than TOS ENT of the same era, I don't think it would have outclassed it by as much as it did (and it was still easily outclassed by the Narada anyway - along with other ships in the task force).
This was fun to watch to watch and hilarious at times. Nice to see the Connie Refit lost. It's so weird that the Enterprise-B LOST especially after the Connie Refit WINNING. I mean REALLY? LOL That's a little backwards considering how much more advance the Enterprise-B is compared to the Connie Refit (stretched to Enterprise-A). I'm glad the Enterprise-C pulled it off. I half expected to see the Enterprise-D go at it but I think it would have decimated the Kelvin Enterprise. I think it's safe to say the Enterprise-E would have and DEFINITELY the Enterprise-F.
So in 3 movies in the JJ Abrams universe, the Kelvin Enterprise was, let's say destroyed 1.7 times, and this Kelvin Enterprise is,supposed to be,advanced?? Did the rest universe advance too?
Yeah, it's a matchup of a natural progression of technology with the C, versus the old method of thinking with the Kelvin Connie, even with advanced tech. Their warp core, shields, even weapons still are based on their version of 23 century engineering. You can't match up a century or more of engineering prowess against a Federation reverse engineering future tech. I don't have an issue with the size of the ship though, tbh. I like that they went big with the threat of what they came up against. I just wasn't under the impression that a bigger ship made them a better adversary. It's still 23rd century tech at the end of the day.
I call BS on that scan. If the Romulan ship were more advanced. Wouldn't they be able to jam older sensors? Since both universes had the same ship design.
A great many voices rooted for the JJ-prise... and then we're suddenly silenced. I fear the real Kirk will forever live on. May history never forget the original vision of the franchise.
Fun fact the Weapons in the Kelvin Connie is in fact a hybrid of phaser and antiproton while the photon torpedoes are closer to a quantum Torpedo then a standard photon
hey by the way if anyone wants to have a go at fixing the JJ design, all you need to do is move the engines further forward and move the mounts further up so they actually mount flat, as their sitting slanted upwards on the lower end of the air intakes, as JJ modified the design to push them together, which screwed up the look of the ship, as it blocks the air intakes for the engines that should stick out below the saucer as the designer took serious inspiration from lamborghini's of all things, which have air vents on the side that stick out above the car like that when they open and its why the design has never looked right since it came out, despite looking fine in the concept art, where it had its original TOS look, which I saved from way back when and always wondered where it went wrong as I bought the F toys model of it and broke the mount on one of the engines by accident in trying to fix it, and then relized hey wait if you mount it so its level, by pulling them in slightly, their further apart and they clear the saucer, and they mount flat as now the mounting point is further back and suddenly it looked right, and then I remembered the thing about the air intakes, and sure enough it cleared it abit of a eureka moment actually and you can even see it in the paint job on the thumbnail, the top of the pylon is the same color as the line above it on the engines, like just pull it forward so it mounts naturally there inbetween it and the two outlets there on the end and it looks fine like the design was just ruined by one very minor stupid change JJ did, and it completely corrects the damn design like all that work to fix the damn thing, with the redesigns each movie and all that and all it needed was that one small little tweak as the more they overthink the pluming, the easier it is to stop up the drain, also the scans thing to explain the advanced look of the ships doesnt work, as how much memory would an escape pod have really, they would need to take parts of the advanced ship, and break it down, and go over its database to reverse engineer the technology using it as a how to book, abit like the Defiant in in a mirror darkly, like the whole ship as a whole with all the design and repair documentation, would be far more valuable than a bunch of scans telling you what it is, as now you know how to make it if anything the klingons would be the more advanced civilization from the technology falling in their hands, or getting parted out to other speices, as the timeline change should have happened long before then like it would make more sense if that saucer from the enterprise E crash landing on earth in the borg episode of enterprise was an actual thing, and they took the information from that rather than just a funny easter egg someone put in, and then had the nardia come through in an already changed universe
A "simple mining vessel" wouldn't have tech like that. The whole premise of how the JjVerse works is flawed. They should have watched City on thr edge of forever or Dr Who to get a glimpse at time travel. The JJprise gets almost (or actually) destroyed in every movie. The Kirk mobile never suffered that much. It is just huge, its only advantage.

@RickBerman-iv2il what about the USS Defiant in Enterprise, with it's aft torpedo launcher? Or was that unique to the Defiant?
The Kelvin universe looked like it was waiting for a war no? I mean Vulcan was gone, and the Romulans were out there as strong... Just don't know.
4:28 Retro Badger: we got their bottom shields down to 32%!
That's not impressive to say while your ship is blowing up. Just saying!
🤣🤣
Boom sweet
I love the NX but I knew it had a Bob hopes chance to win 😅
How much nicer looking are the Prime timeline ships?.
100x more.
@crownprincesebastianjohano7069 thanks buddy.
@crownprincesebastianjohano7069 thanks buddy.
Another great matchup would have been the Connie Refit Refit vs. the Abrahms-verse Enterprise. Happy Thanksgiving!
Same to you 🖖
I call that bullsh*t on the Kelvin enterprise.
There is no way in hell that primitive federation could have scanned the ship from the future.
If it was that easy then the non-canon nx would have been able to scan every future ship it came across.
Great idea!
I kind of wonder how many JJprise the NeoConnie Enterprise can take
For additional catharsis, just hop in the "From Hell" ship and go up against 10+ of those Kelvin timeline things and enjoy the pretty fireworks.
I wish remastered also had the increased damage effects in the hull like in kobayashi maru, thats the bad thing about remastered, when a torpedo hits you and the hull only has an scratch, but the hull integrity goes to 10 percent
"The Video is good been 🌟🌟🌟🌟🖖🖖🖖🖖,but the Kelvin - Timeline hate I very 😤😤😤😤!!!"
The kelvin Enterprise was larger than the Galaxy class starship.
Kirk's Enterprise refit all the way how you do that completely amazes me
Enterprise C makes sense, although I’m a little surprised only due to the fact the Narada is further in the timeline along the times or ending times of enterprise D.
Shouldve tried SNW Enterprise, anyway im pretty sure the kelvin enterprise dont stand a chance against the 1701-E And F, probably the G too
Now try it in reverse order,Big E - G then F then E.... you should have been content with ReFit Big E
Admiral - You still have a bad habit of turning your weakest shield towards the enemy, when a turn in the opposite direction, would have given a much stronger shield to take incoming fire.
The Enterprise B's victory won't be delivered until Tuesday.
B and C are my favorites.
it SHOULD be good and better than the original cause of its over power...due to the expanse of the need for power to combat the enemies in the future!
Seems like the NCC-1701-A would have smoked it.
Unless the Kelvin's sensors are just that good for it's time.
A great many voices rooted for the JJ-prise... and then we're suddenly silenced. I fear the real Kirk will forever live on. May history never forget the original vision of the franchise.
I know why the Enterprise-B lost...
It wasn't Tuesday
Come on modders, The enterprise B would wipe the floor with JJ Enterprise.
Fun fact the Weapons in the Kelvin Connie is in fact a hybrid of phaser and antiproton while the photon torpedoes are closer to a quantum Torpedo then a standard photon
There's nothing in the movies that indicates that
@ it’s in the books
@@undercoversoviet5419thanks 👍
Request: Don’t know if you done it yet but put the USS Vengeance from the Kelvin timeline against all of the Enterprises from the Prime Universe
Interesting
I would love to see the Battlestar Galactica federation refit up against a star destroyer or a couple of white stars
hey by the way if anyone wants to have a go at fixing the JJ design, all you need to do is move the engines further forward and move the mounts further up so they actually mount flat, as their sitting slanted upwards on the lower end of the air intakes, as JJ modified the design to push them together, which screwed up the look of the ship, as it blocks the air intakes for the engines that should stick out below the saucer
as the designer took serious inspiration from lamborghini's of all things, which have air vents on the side that stick out above the car like that when they open
and its why the design has never looked right since it came out, despite looking fine in the concept art, where it had its original TOS look, which I saved from way back when and always wondered where it went wrong
as I bought the F toys model of it and broke the mount on one of the engines by accident in trying to fix it, and then relized hey wait if you mount it so its level, by pulling them in slightly, their further apart and they clear the saucer, and they mount flat as now the mounting point is further back
and suddenly it looked right, and then I remembered the thing about the air intakes, and sure enough it cleared it
abit of a eureka moment actually
and you can even see it in the paint job on the thumbnail, the top of the pylon is the same color as the line above it on the engines, like just pull it forward so it mounts naturally there inbetween it and the two outlets there on the end and it looks fine
like the design was just ruined by one very minor stupid change JJ did, and it completely corrects the damn design
like all that work to fix the damn thing, with the redesigns each movie and all that and all it needed was that one small little tweak
as the more they overthink the pluming, the easier it is to stop up the drain,
also the scans thing to explain the advanced look of the ships doesnt work, as how much memory would an escape pod have really, they would need to take parts of the advanced ship, and break it down, and go over its database to reverse engineer the technology
using it as a how to book, abit like the Defiant in in a mirror darkly, like the whole ship as a whole with all the design and repair documentation, would be far more valuable than a bunch of scans telling you what it is, as now you know how to make it
if anything the klingons would be the more advanced civilization from the technology falling in their hands, or getting parted out to other speices, as the timeline change should have happened long before then
like it would make more sense if that saucer from the enterprise E crash landing on earth in the borg episode of enterprise was an actual thing, and they took the information from that
rather than just a funny easter egg someone put in, and then had the nardia come through in an already changed universe
Poor NX class, like a shed in space 🖖
Shouldn't the Kelvin Enterprise be bigger like comparable to Enterprise-D.
Borg tech?
@johnharrison6745 🤣😂 Is borg tech what makes for a flooded looking interior with no space between command and the hold?!? No.
@@johnharrison6745also, the USS Kelvin was huge compared to even the Ambassador.
There needs to be a part 2 where we start off with Captain Picard's Enterprise D and E and then the rest of the other ships called Enterprise.
Make it so...
I’m curious to see the defiant against the jjprise
