This a little series I have decided to make. I will compile what I believe to be the greatest quotes of animated cartoon characters proceeded by a clip show set to a song I feel embodies the Character,this time being Dormammu. My personal opinion is MCU version is actually great because it finally depict Dormammu as cosmic demon beyond time and death instead of looking like giant devil from hell

In a sense, I did; Dormammu DID appear in the movie.
But because he was still trapped in the Dark Dimension. He was unable to take on his infamous physical form.
Namely, his large body and blazing head of fire and dark magic. Perhaps, we may see that in the sequel.

Would be better if they kept him separate from the Avengers stuff (at least in a major capacity), there's no need for everything to revolve around that franchise. I mean, still have a shared universe but it's going to get too cluttered and limited real fast if they try to cram everything in a way that it relates to Avengers and the story it's forming. The cinematic universe can branch off in many directions. Dr Strange is the perfect character for such a thing.
Plus it'd be such a disservice to Dormammu to have him roped into someone else's game.
jrupert1 Yes/No. Doctor Strange should be handled carefully like Guardians of the Galaxy.
A) Thanos wants the Infinity Stones, and he doesn't care how big a dog any of the other villains in the universe are. Thanos' ambition is driving most of the MCU right now and this particular ambition is GOING to end up stepping on ALL of the toes whether the characters think it's an insult to their status as Arch-Villain or Independent Hero or not.
B) Doctor Strange and Dormammu could more than likely/easily get a 2nd or even 3rd movie to do Non-Infinity War stuff with and show how they're different and detached, ultimately, from the Avengers, and that Thanos was just a very special case. Until Doctor Doom returns to Marvel, there isn't anyone else but Thanos that should warrant Doctor Strange involving himself in strictly Avengers-related business affairs. Guardians of the Galaxy 2 will probably have some Non-Thanos characters that show us the Non-Infinity War directions that Guardians of the Galaxy can be taken, doing stuff they would otherwise be doing with the Silver Surfer if he were with Marvel.
C) Just a reminder, Infinity War is Infinity War and it's going to drag Odin, Mephisto, Death, Eternity, and the Living Tribunal into it. Dormammu is actually a relatively small fry despite being bigger than anyone we've actually seen so far. They don't call him (Thanos) "The Mad Titan" because he lives a normal middle-class life in a normal middle-class neighborhood with a normal middle-class job and normal, middle-class problems. :P

I haven’t watched the animated Dr. Strange movie yet. It sucks that the Dr. Strange series didn’t really get much exposure until the Marvel Universe movie but better late than never I suppose. That series really should have gotten its own line in the 90’s when Marvel animated was at its peak.
