I'm in love with Peach Mochi too 😍 I love that you're incorporating Asian and Malaysian names into your yarn collection! I'm Malay, and Malaysian on my mom's side so it's really cool to see!!
My Mom is from Iceland and pronounces it “Ploe tu loh pee”. LOL! Though I love the way you say things when they are new to you (“Knitting for Olives” was one of my favorites!). I have enjoyed watching you grow and evolve both in your amazing knitting skills but also in your podcasting skills!!!
Someone else commented, but if you try Lettlopi, I'd just buy one sweater quantity to start to see how you like it. It's extremely itchy - I can't really wear it next to skin, but enjoy it as an outer layer for cold weather. The wool has very long "guard hairs" and it's super warm and does soften when you wear it, but it's very different than most other fibers. Your Plutolopi colorwork looks beautiful!
What lovely spring yarns you have created! 😍🙌 I'm making September sweater in light grey Plötulopi and it smells quite strongly sheepy/wool/lanolin (whatever causes the smell). I mean, at least in undyed Plötulopi the smell is not from a chemical. Good luck with all you do, happy to follow! 😊
If you enjoyed the plotulopi you should try and get your hands on nutiden or the limited edition from woollentwine. Unspun yarn is magic. Also the smell your smelling might be from the sheep. I found myself loving that odd scent and the more I delved into natural wools I found out that’s what it was lol. Thanks for another great podcast so many beautiful pieces! Oh and I’d totally get the needles. I’ve been there thought I’d never use it again and then found myself needing them again the future.
I have grown a more then small obsession for plotolupi. I'm in love. Using it and drops kid silk for the zipper pullover and then I'm going to hopefully cast on the ozetta miles shirt jacket with it soon!
Congratulations on your first fair isle knit! I started with Icelandic style sweaters, so I’m great at color work but I’m always way too impatient to do different stitches. Although you’ve inspired me to try again, maybe with a nicer yarn to motivate me. If you’re going to work with lettlopi, be aware that it’s pretty itchy. You can treat it of course, but I’ve stopped using it for that reason. Also loving the dyed yarns!
Wow Tiffany. So inspirational!! You are doing your thing!!!! I can't wait to get my hands on some of your lovely yarn! I didn't quite catch the information on where we go to preorder
This is such a small editing thing but I really liked that when you put up the photo of your new dress pattern you left it up for like a full 2 seconds - I feel like so often when there are pics posted in YT videos i glance down at what I am knitting and miss it haha
i bought taro milk tea in mohair i can't resist it's so pretty!!! i want to buy all the colors but my wallet would hate me hahaha congrats on opening your shop I hope it does super well!
Is the pattern going to be size inclusive? Cause if not I will be really sad cause I would love to make this dress and I am a 3x - 4x. Again if not no worries I can figure something out! Love your content and can't wait to see more patterns in the future!
could you call it the typical bodycon? Or typical bodycon dress? just to be super sure it doesn't get mixed up in the tags :,) but it really is a lovely piece
I love having yarn corner on in the background while I knit, it feels like I’m on FaceTime with a friend 🧶
Awww that’s a great way to put it! I’m glad u enjoy
