Awesome to have a legacy mother aloe plant ^^ As they get old the leaves close to the ground will fall off and a thick stem will connect the plant to the ground below the lowest leaves. Be careful not to cover that stem with soil. Rocks and gravel are ok. If that stem rots... You can cut the healthy plant above the rot and let it dry and then set it on the dirt .. it will root. Hope your day is really good.

@@arandomcanadian2948 Oh my goodness.. a mouse ate it! that is terrible. Lately, the deer are treating my succulents like a salad bar. They are cute deer so they are getting away with it. ^^

@@hankscactus3973 that's why I shall put it in a place where the mouse can't get it and I'll be putting my 2nd aloe Vera (which will be arriving soon) next to my 1st aloe Vera
Edit: Aloes aren't cacti we make mistakes you can call it cacti when you want

Thank you Molly. My mother always told me to have a plant like this around the house to treat burns. As a boy, I do not ever remember them growing large enough to bloom. I guess we used to get burned a lot.. sunburns mostly. I hope your day is really good. Thanks for watching.

Thanks for watching. This aloe really responded well to being put into the ground where it is. The similar plants in pots did not do this well. It gets full sun (in California) so, It really can take the sunshine. We do enjoy this plant. Hope your day is really good.

@@nrnadiapjmins7012 The first aid process that I use for these plants... I make sure they have good drainage.. You can water often if the soil has good drainage. They will have a chance at recovering if they get good light. I have seen them recover from a lot of stress. I hope the best for yours.
