Thank you Christabel for this marvellous illustration, I always wanted to see how you achieve this unique style of yours in painting, so much inspired by your art. brilliant work. you do deserve the winning and being Sky Portrait Artist of The Year.
Thank you for this very useful demonstration of your process. I really enjoyed seeing your work leading up to and your successful win of Portrait Artist of the Year.
I love your style too. And I know teachers who would say something about it regarding what teachers teach and I really plan to like listen and do a foundation of that ....foundational stuff for figurative painting but looking forward to using that to paint more like you. Blocks of fresh color but likeness likeness likeness. What I do is try to get this....and it doesn’t quite work so go to the rest of the foundational stuff wet on wet. Then it gets boring. Ha ha I mean the results. I do try.
Oh that was wonderful.. mesmerising and straight into it .. none of the ‘hi guys how you doing etc etc etc etc etc ....rubbish’. Soo good I too loved you on PAOTY ❤️
Excellent, Christabel! Some are saying the portrait doesn't look anything like you. I think it does look like you. It's your interpretation of yourself via the mirror. Can't be easy painting from a mirror image, but you make it look so easy. Loved watching you on Portrait Artist of the Year.
Hi thank you for making this lesson. Are you able to put a list of colours at the beginning would be useful. I really enjoyed this lesson. Thanks again.
Nice processus but the likeness is quite off... Most of the likeness in our eyes is in the eyebrows and face shape and those are really not the same. Nice work though.
Pretty standard fare as portraits go, I notice she hasn't taken the trouble to reply to any of the comments but would still like your money for this 'class'.
its good, but from critical point of view, still many flaws, I am sure its hard painting before a camera, i have never done that. Waiting for more videos to come.
Wow reading some of these comments and there’s a lot of gel people out here! Lol very sad…. I loved your process an found it fascinating to watch….. 👌👍🫶

This is amazing, it looks so simple but needs hardwork to achieve that master piece. Awesome
