This is the only negative thing about the crowd singing along too much, Olivia was doing a medley of two of her songs, but she couldn't switch immediately back to enough for you coz the crowd kept singing and thought she was still doing 1SF3SB. Thus the lyrical connection of the two songs in this medley wasn't appreciated enough when you hear it for the first time
So out of curiosity and researching someone new into songwriting, why are these two songs and traitor so popular? I love driver's license. The song gave me a new perspective in songwriting of the aspect of storytelling.
I think people like these songs for the same reasons they love drivers license. It’s lyrics are very descriptive and depict a certain experience, and the way she sings it conveys many emotions. The melody gives it a certain dramatic tone similar to the way we experience emotions more intensely at a young age. It’s also just a lot of fun to sing along too whaha
i think the reason why it’s my two favorite songs on the album is because it’s relatable and because it’s easy to sing along to i also think that’s why other people like it too

This happens at every concert I go to and Ive been to over 100. The crowd always sings along.
