Season 9 was just all over the place. First, you've got Joey's fake proposal, then you've got this mess, then lastly the whole "Rachel crushing on Joey" thing.
Rachel crushing on Joey is totally fair because he only ever supported her, I do think a lot of fans are somewhat delusional for not acknowledging the toxicity and paranoia in Rachel and Ross's relationship. The main reason I didn't like the season finale is because they absolutely shat on Joey by dragging this train wreck of a relationship back into it.

If u think about it, ross went through the most hell out of all of his friends

I don't care about who's right or who's on who's side and why and what they did in the past. Regardless of living together or not, they were not in a relationship. That means they are allowed to see other people without the other having a problem with it, and yes if it means the other has to watch Emma for the night then that should be okay and they should discuss reasonable amounts of time when they each can have a break and go out. Each getting equal time with the kid regardless of if they go on a date and kiss someone on a balcony or go to their friend's place to watch tv. And if they both want to go out the same night, then they have plenty of friends and grandparents to watch her for the night.

In my opinion, though it isn't right that Rachel has ruined so many serious relationships with the women Ross has been with, it doesn't excuse the fact that Ross should do the same when it came to hiding the phone number. It doesn't matter if they both have feelings for each other. If neither of them is making an attempt, don't stand in the way when the other wants to explore different relationships. Ross can date whoever he wants, and so can Rachel. I don't like that Ross even uses Emma as a defense and acting like Rachel hasn't cared for her as well. It's true that they both have the right to date anyone but Rachel asked Ross to not date for a while, and he complied. So a little heads up from Rachel would've been the right thing to do. Ross brought a strange woman back to their apartment. As far as Rachel giving a guy her phone number. That’s just a phone number she didn’t bring him back to her place. They would have actually dated, you know the way normal people do.

I don't care about who's right or who's on who's side and why and what they did in the past. Regardless of living together or not, they were not in a relationship. That means they are allowed to see other people without the other having a problem with it, and yes if it means the other has to watch Emma for the night then that should be okay and they should discuss reasonable amounts of time when they each can have a break and go out. Each getting equal time with the kid regardless of if they go on a date and kiss someone on a balcony or go to their friend's place to watch tv. And if they both want to go out the same night, then they have plenty of friends and grandparents to watch her for the night.

In my opinion, though it isn't right that Rachel has ruined so many serious relationships with the women Ross has been with, it doesn't excuse the fact that Ross should do the same when it came to hiding the phone number. It doesn't matter if they both have feelings for each other. If neither of them is making an attempt, don't stand in the way when the other wants to explore different relationships. Ross can date whoever he wants, and so can Rachel. I don't like that Ross even uses Emma as a defense and acting like Rachel hasn't cared for her as well. Their both good parents, but they are parents who aren't married or dating. Therefore, they have every right to date anyone and still be a parent. It's sad there's people like Ross and Rachel in this type of situation
It's true that they both have the right to date anyone but Rachel asked Ross to not date for a while, and he complied. So a little heads up from Rachel would've been the right thing to do. Ross is wrong for hiding that message but that's the only thing he was wrong about. The rest was Rachel being unfair and unreasonable.

I love Rachel, she's my favorite character from the show. And I like Ross a lot, he's a great friend and brother in the group. But their relationship is a really bad and messed up thing. Did you even watch the show or were you too busy simping over Rachel? Ross NEVER stopped her from dating when it was ‘her turn’. SHE was the one who demanded he stop dating because she wanted him at her beck and call and even admitted she was being unreasonable about it.

To be honest, it doesn’t matter if they were on a break or not or if Ross sleeping with another woman was right or not or if Rachel giving her phone number to a random guy or kissing Gavin was right or not.
