I always get mixed up with the roman eras. Would late romans go with imperial romans or are they completely different ?

The classic Imperial Romans like you'd see in Augustus Caesar's armies would be from 27 BC to 284 AD and the late Roman army is from 284 AD onwards. Hope that helps :)
