Coolest dad in Norway. I feel like Leo's How You Like That (Blackpink) is underappreciated but is one of his best. Feel Good inc (Gorillaz) is great also.
As other's mentioned, the 'thing' on the guitar is a Kaoss Pad. It's running a ting-modulator algorithm ("ring mod") which take the basic note and formulates another note, offset by X frequency (eg A440 + ?? 535 Hz = a frequency offset of 95 Hz... the offset is set by the user, and Lep is making it that offset move in certain parts of the solo... also, they are processing both the main note and the offset via a synth for that very-metallic sound.). In general it's not an oft-heard effect, as it isn't very melodic/usually sounds a bit robotic. BUT, for a little bit of silly, it's great fun. .... hey, you asked... Have a great day.
Gday from Aus another amazing reaction! the unit you are asking about on the guitar is a Korg mini kaoss pad 2s it is a mini effects and processor with many effects including the oscillation on this song' :)
Check out his version of Slipknot's Psychosocial and Duality. The first one done with banjos and throwing straw hats 😎 and the second one acoustic. Also his version of The Animals - House Of The Rising Sun. If you look at the Frog Leap Studios youtube channel playlist there are some videos by the bands LowDown and Zerosonic. Both bands are more thrash/sludge/groove metal and had Leo Moracchioli on vocals. He also played in Trendkill. A Pantera cover band. Saw him telling something about battling anxiety from time to time.
I might be wrong, but Mary Spender did an interview with Leo, and he really comes off as an introvert in it. It could be that he is just not comfortable speaking in English.
I think his daughter is about 13 I think. Nice song but I think the live on stage stuff he does with Rabea,Hannah,Truls and Erik are still the best versions

Yet the use of the sitar in this one is brilliant
Love the connection so evident between them. I think that this is my favorite so far.
His daughter Mikela is 12 years old.
Thanks for playing this awesome cover from Leo and can’t wait for more.
Yes, he did Baby Shark with her. This is one of my favorites. Great song great reaction!
Leo is a phenomenal musician. I’ve been wondering what that gadget is myself.

Hey fellow Aussie i have been wondering about that device I'm so glad someone knows

A lot of performers are introverted when they aren't performing. They are more comfortable on stage or in front of the camera than speaking in person.
In my place a Coldplay cover is good as well

It's a kaoss pad.
