Hey guys! Have you ever been to Fukujuen in Kyoto? They do a lovely service where they pair certain Japanese teas with small bites. I’m sure it’s something you would love and I know we would love to see a review of the shop the next time you’re in Kyoto. Much love to you both!! ✌🏻🥰😊
I lost it when Satoshi put on that "wasabi too strong" face! I'm pretty sure I've worn it myself, more than a few times! I'd love to try that burger... and the orange chiffon cake... and, heck, just about everything else you guys checked out!
Can’t wait to finally see Japan this April! I’ve written down many of the places in this video and from some of your others so I can have a delicious trip! Thank you guys!
Just seeing you two makes me smile! All the foods you ate looked delicious. The katsu sando was _crazy!_ 🤣 What made me happiest though, as a member of the fam, was Shinichi wearing his rainbow "Love Is Love" tee and seeing the dear elderly lady bring you both hot towels. I may be interpreting that gesture entirely wrong, but it seemed to me to be, at least in part, a gentle affirmation. Thanks for the great look at some Osaka street food. Love you both. 💙💙
I’m currently visiting Japan with my daughter, we were in Osaka and I tracked down the Japan burger, my Daughter thought it was hilarious when the wasabi hit me but, dang that burger is good,
Thank you, will be going to osaka next year and have been looking for new things to try, lots of videos just keeps going to the same good but old locations over and over again, but many would like to know whats new since the pandemic.
I've only been to Osaka once for 4 days, when I went to visit a good friend of mine who studied at Osaka university at the time. But that was 11 years ago so I can imagine so mu has changed. Yes takoyaki and green onions go so well together!! And that katsu sando looks delicious!!!
The way Satoshi says chiffon cake, I thought he was calling it "sea foam cake"... which is a better name for it in my opinion. I wish there was, like, ANY street food culture at all in Edmonton, Alberta. You guys make me jealous. 😊
There so many hidden places right in the middle of dotinbori where almost no Tourists go to xD not that im going to namedrop them i really love the fact i'm amon the few tourists that goes there just saying man are there so many hidden spots right there at Dotinbori the most tourist packed area of whole Osaka
@2:31 😮 "Would you like a burger patty and bread on your GIANT slice of Tomato ??? JK That Japan burger looked delicious! I will definitely add Osaka to my Itinerary!
Watching this, I wondered about you eating across the street when the shop owner found you to give you napkins. One UA-camr has mentioned a few things (which is why I wondered if it was okay for you to eat outside on the street). If you two would be willing to address the things that each city finds rude or intrusive or disgusting or an inconvenience? Many of us have seen several videos on chopstick etiquette and removing your street shoes at the door but I am sure there are several things that give locals pause. How should we address a shop owner, a restaurant hostess, hotel or lodging host, an older person…. Where and how we should eat. Then flip the tables at the end or do a second video on things that would be much appreciated or make an older person smile or something endearing so that visitors are not as rude and know how to be very respectful when visiting Japan?
It's interesting to me that in Japan, it looks like they leave the scallop very natural. But in the west, I noticed that they always cut away the stuff around the main part of the scallop. I've heard them say on food TV shows that the stuff around it isn't nice to eat, but you guys always eat it with no complaints. Are we throwing out edible parts of the scallop for no reason?
Just got back from trip to Japan, had a great time. Must say Osaka was INSANELY CROWDED, was our least favorite destination. Would tell a friend to pass.

I'm snacking on peanuts and suffering from food envy.
