What a great video! I came all the way from Florida to do this trail, twice. July 2020 and July 2021. But I certainly didn't capture that fantastic quality of video. Amazing!
I did Black Bear in a Jeep CJ 5 manual transmission. The Jeep was a rental and it was new. Hint....Google tells me 1984 was the last year for CJ 5 lol. The ladies walking remind me of my wife back then. She wasn't taking pictures but the fear factor prompted her to walk awhile. We still rent Jeeps in Ouray for other trails. Rentals are not allowed on Black Bear. That's ok with me because I like milder trails now at my age.
Was this overview done with the new skydio drone you got? Really well done video and editing job. We met in Colorado Springs one day at the off road park. Safe travels always!
Can you do it with a Tacoma high clearance 4x4 TRD off road truck. My husband wants to do it but I'm not sure. This video looks so professional, the drone shots are amazing. What an adventure for you.
the stair case was freaky that part i thought was cool but kinda scary when me and my family went i knew it was dangrus when my dad told me and my mom to walk bc i will ride if i am alloud and we aere with people who are new to jeeping!
This is a cool video. Makes me want to go back even though we just did BBP last week. As I told everyone in our group the key is the driver paying attention and not gawking at the scenery until stopped. This past trip was the first time I didn't drive it so I could video our group coming down the switchbacks.
OMG!!! So dangerous! The music had me on my seat edge! That woman hanging on the edge running to take photos, wow!!! You drove that crazy dangerous trail! I need a coffee now. So Epic, so awesome, so crazy that you survived it. Just wow!!!

Black bear is probably the most beautiful trail in Colorado. The steps are crazy intense…the switchbacks are the east part!

You absolutely can! It treally isn't a hard trail. Just take it slow and steady
