Love watching your videos my partner is doing this doing the cape wrath right now. Tbh the last video of your had me worried but I have realised he has past that stage now and doing today the stage you are showing now over to Morvich! Thanks again & keep exploring
How you managed the CWT with 18kgs is bloomin amazing... well done!
I'm pleased the weather improved for you as I could see it was really taking its toll mentally and physically.
When I did it ,it was over two holidays one 8 days hiking and the following year 12 consecutive days hiking. We certainly wernt rushing it.
Cheers Eddie and Father.
👍
Good weather certainly makes for a completely different experience. Really didn't think I would have needed so much sun cream in Scotland 😂
Great stuff. 👍
Brilliant 👍
Gotta say, Eddie - love your attitude, man, you've had some tough walking and weather in the days so far and the smile hasn't disappeared from your face (maybe so in an "uncut" version?! 🤣) Enjoyed all the vids, looking forward to the rest of them bud!
All the best, Dan 👍🏻🤘🏻
Thank you so much Dan, I really appreciate that. I am sure if you ask my dad he would tell you different, there was definitely a couple of huffs behind the scenes 😂But it really was an incredible walk and just to get out and experience it was incredible, glad you enjoyed it 😀
@@EddieFitz7 You're very welcome bud. Watched the whole lot of the vids in one sitting and loved them. The Cape Wrath Trail is on the very top of my To Do list but Covid has obviously really messed it up - unlike yourself, I'm not brave enough to face the Scottish midges, my Scotland jaunts are strictly October to May!! 🤣 All the best to you mate, keep up the great work, Dan 👍🏻
Enjoying these vids mate. Cheers
Thank you so much, appreciate that 🙏
Some cracking views there, especially @ 07:37!! What is the music that you used for most of the video? Great little tune. Didn't recognize it. Also, your midge net seemed to be more of a midge vest than just a head net. What brand is it , do you remember? Rgds,
Thank you! Nothing bet that view of the burger, it was so needed 😂 It's a little song I got from epidemic sound - called 'city lights city dreams - forever sunset. Yeah the midge jumper is the best piece of equipment I own, perfect for Scotland. I can't remember the brand but I got it from Amazon, if you search for midge jumper or mosquito jumper you will be able to find it, hope that helps 😀
@@EddieFitz7 Thanks Ed. Enjoying your videos. The CWT is one that I'm hoping to tackle, but I think I'd only do it in the month of May - you faced some horrific hordes of midges in late summer. Fair play. Rgds, Wadirunner.
Suns outtttt! ☀️☀️☀️☀️ loving the videos Ed thank you😃
Not often you say that phrase, the weather was just amazing in the second half 🌞
I enjoyed your walk I can’t wait to do it next year
Thank you, I’m glad you are enjoying the videos so far. You will absolutely love the trail!
@@EddieFitz7 have you seen the Hound of Howgate cape wrath trail great to watch also
@@alanmacdonald5636 yeah we followed along with his content in preparation for the trail. His videos are great 😊
Excellent video. Like the midge suit. Was the hubba hubba a good choice for the trip?
Thank you, the midge jumper is the best thing ever! I thought it was great, it was light but really spacious for 2 people - there is plenty of heard room so you can sit up comfortably. We got really lucky with the weather so didn't really experience that much rain. But it certainly done the job for us!
Great stuff mate. Atb
Cheers mate, appreciate it as always! Hope you are well 😊
Good stuff
Cheers man :)
I honestly would have just headed straight back home 😭 those midgiiiiiieeeeeesssss
Yeah they were honestly so crazy, it was like this the whole of the second week because of the heat 😰
