It was about 200 VND for 1 JYP when I first landed to Japan last year. Now the lowest exchange rate is 160 VND/1JPY, 20% drop in value make the yen so weak :( no surprise when less number of Vietnamese workers/traineess come to Japan this year, the work is not easy but you have to try 20% harder to save some money for your family. The good side is the Japanese products are cheap at the moment, if you have money, book a trip to explore Japan and buy stuffs here, also for those whose want to study in Japan it also a good choice since the tuition fee will be less in VND compared with before. For working, wait for another 6 months and make a decision.
Hi thanhbinh nguyen:) Thanks for your info! I agree to wait for a moment now. Now the value of Yen is quite unstable and no one knows how much it's gonna be. at least 6 months waiting would be a wiser choice:)
Hi Will2getfit :) Thank you so much for your comment! I will create more fun contents about life & tech, so hope you like it:)! Have a nice year end bro!
However, I am from the Netherlands. When the Euro gets weak we can export a lot more because it is cheaper. Japan thrives on export! Cars / Machinery / Electrical and Medical Machines patents etc. Other countries in the world import less and thats why the trade balance of japan is negative because rich countries have less demand atm. Import demands will rise again and countries like Japan, Netherlands will export more and in the case of Japan it will lead to more demand of the yen. The Yen went from 0.96 to 0.73 in 2012 -2013 in 2019 it was 0.83 now 0.69 euro cents. The only way it will never recover is when Other countries stop importing from Japan permanently which they will not. Its not known when the economy will recover there different predictions but I think in 3 - 5 years it will be business as usual again but it could also be 7 -10 or sooner. The trade balance from 2017 to 2022 went from 37.46b to 1b to -14.81b to -12b. Do not worry, the Euro and the USD are strong atm but everything became 8 -50% more expensive over here, especially food and oil. Natural gas and electricity went +200% in 3 months! Our stuff is getting more expensive becouse we pay a lot of taxes, environment taxes, and we increase worker salary every year. if you give employees 2% raise a year the price doubles in 36 years. Japan is the only country in the world I visit that is suppressing inflation, Japan is not worse off then Europe or the USA we pay massive amounts for housing and rent here like 43,469,700 yen for a small sub urban apartment with currently 3.5 - 4% interest rate! I bought my Saitama apartment for only 4,000,000 yen! food over here is 2x the price in Japan we pay 3,000 yen for a bowl of Ramen in the Netherlands! I think Japan is the best place to live in the world today! we have an average of 40,000 yen monthly in electricity bills per household in Europe now, yes Russia made it worse but we also have environment crusaders that make gas / oil / flying / driving mega expensive!
Hi Ricardo Blikman:) Thanks for sharing about your country! It's new insight to me, hopefully I will have chances to visit and live in Netherlands, it's really beautiful country bro:)
@@DevInDanang-kzy But on the other hand, food and rent is a lot cheaper than in the west. Rents are insane in Europe for expats and average wagers like 150,000y a month for 1 room that eats away the higher salary, stuff became insanely expensive over here in the past 10 years and we have a lot of environment taxes and 21% vat and 10% eu import taxes so you are better off with a lower salary in a country where you can live like a decent human being.
Hi Phuoc Huu:) probably it would be better to earn foreign currency for the future. but still not stable the value jpy, let's see how it's gonna be...!
