Very good explanation, but why don't you use (at least twice) larger font in order to make it readable. Reading your code is a pain (because of a font size).

I am try to sort an array of pixel/map coordinates - , x-y pairs - and find that no matter what capacity parameter or load parameter I use only 20 pairs of coordinates are mapped. I've tried the same procedure changing Map to HashMap to TreeMap. The changes have no effect. What do you suggest, please?
