TYGER which can be equated to a lower tier than Murkywater, was able to give Batman a run for his money. Jokers goons also successfully captured Batman and held him hostage for 3 days. They would've successfully killed Batman if it wasn't for Robin saving him. Not to mention how Batman was successfully knocked out by Clayface Joker and Harley. Gang has a couple buffs you didn't mention: number one they're a lot more comical and goofy and unrealistic, like the perks the weird guns and some of the equipment being overpowered and something someone from a universe where physics makes sense would take a second to understand. number two he doesn't kill so they could probably be more brutal to win

Aside from being a master with the way of the ninja and samurai, Batman has x-ray vision. So Batman would out-stealth them AND see them trying their best to crawl from room to room.
Thing is, during the day, Batman is Bruce Wayne. You forgot that. It would take Bruce time to get to either a standby Batsuit, or more time to get back to the Batcave and get his real Batsuit. If the Payday gang goes into a bank guns blazing, they have time before Batman shows up, and Bane/Shade would help them prep as Bruce preps from his CEO job into his Batman gear. I'd be more worried about Joker hearing about the Payday gang using clown masks and having his gang show up. If that's the case, it would be a complete clusterF of Payday gang vs Joker's gang vs the cops by the time Batman arrives at the scene. THAT level of chaos might allow the Payday gang to escape by whatever plan Bane/Shade has for them, especially if Joker himself makes an appearance. Joker might keep Batman busy enough for Payday to escape. That's the ONLY way I see the Payday gang getting out of this, if they somehow involve the Joker to complicate things.

The problem here is that batman's gun-jamming-gun only works in the games because of RFID laws passed in that universe (And because everyone found fighting armed enemies annoying in the first game). As well as it not only being limited by number, but also sometimes not working entirely. So the gang is safe there. We can also calk-up the skills as being supernatural in nature, on some small level (This would explain the ability to see guards through walls and shake their alliances with just shouting). Unlike most criminals, the gang also have a habit of looking up on account of helicopters and snipers often being present wherever they go. Not too much of an issue for the bat, as he can just move. But taking the game play mechanics and making them canonical powers, could prove a headache if pinged. Another thing to take account of is the wealth of the payday gang before the reset in 3. Just like the bat, they have billions to launder around for this. Including thermal vision. All-in-all, this is a pretty fun thought exercise.
Batman always wins and people know that in Gotham, that's why everyone started shit on the same night in Arkham Knight, their hope was that Batman would be too busy to stop them. Your best bet in Gotham as a criminal is to make sure da friggin Bat is on the other side of town and hope you can finish up before Batman shows up.
I think a situation where the payday gang can win is when it's all of them. Like all 22 playable heisters. Which includes Jhon wick and scarface. But that's to unfair ig.

I can't imagine a scenario where the Payday Gang wins, but I do think they'd probably put up a better fight than Gotham's typical criminals. To give them the best odds possible, they'd probably be working with one of the local supervillains, such as Black Mask, and they would also have more of their expanded crew with them helping out. Batman's still coming out on top, he does take down an entire armed militia specifically trained to counter and kill him in Arkham Knight after all, but he'd definitely notice that these grunts he's dealing with are a cut above the usual rabble he's used to dealing with.
The Payday Gang has done some crazy jobs. From raiding military bases, breaking into well secured areas, and even assaulting the White House. Keep in mind that the Payday Gang has held off near battalions worth of police and military. The Payday Gang also "least in game" have very wacky and unrealistic perks. Some literally allow one of the Gang members to have infinite ammo, make cops turn on their own men. But if you had to select some more Grounded perks. Some that allow you do deflect a cloaker doing a batmanish drop kick, yelling to get your teammates up, and even some Perk trees. The Payday would fall alone if they split up, but most cases they stick together. Keep in mind, you forgot one crucial detail. Baine. Bain has always been their eyes and ears, if anything he might be able to atleast give them a heads up. Of course, Batman could trick them by giving false orders. But the Payday crew are not as unintelligent as your average crook goon. They might find it suspicious when Bain is giving out random orders or breaking off from the plan. I say it would be a tough fight, if the builds they came up with were peak player builds and they had the wider aresel like heavier caliber weapons, Explosives, and gadgets. Even then, if you I had more stronger members. If I had to pick the team. It would be Dallas, Joy, John, and Jiro. Another thing, Bain would probably do his homework and inform the Payday Gang of what they could he up against. If they were in Gotham, you damn well know Bain would know about the Batman and do some homework on how dangerous he is.

So I do agree the gang has almost no chance but like I wonder if anything would change if Batman walked in expecting four some what armed thugs and ended up having to fight four heavily armored thugs with rocket launchers, double mini guns, and Grenade launchers. I’m talking a fully prepared loud squad of gamers that are aware of Batman and are prepared for it. It is fully bulletproof, has every gadget you can name, invisibility, numerous vision for the situation, enhanced agility and strength and yet again tools for spying on groups and having the abilities to take on supervillain threats while still being human. I like the video but I have some recommendations to better these kind of videos in the future. Perhaps if you established some other win conditions you could make match ups like these much more interesting. An example from the top of my head would be for the gang if perhaps they successfully avoid the Batman. Then go on to explain how Batman could prevent that. Maybe another example for Batman could be a lose condition, if he fails to stop a severe amount of civilian casualties and how Batman might need to go that extra mile to ensure that doesn’t happen. Making the scenario much more harder than a simple Team A Vs Team B. Great informative video nonetheless! Keep it up!
best case scenario for the Payday Gang using everything in the games, assuming that Batman would be a special enemy, and the crew has prep time Crew: Wick Dallas, Chains, Hoxton Weapons: KPS LMGs and Commando 101 Rocket launchers ,Thanatos 50 Cal Armor: Two Piece Suit Skills: Inspired Ace, Surefire Aced, Body Expertise Aced, Swan song and Feign Death Aced Perk Deck: Leach Equipment: Doctor Bags assuming they would get downed Batman would have to kill them 96 times if they all use medic bags and with Surefire and Body Expertise all it takes is a few shots for Batman to die because of the fact that Surefire Ace penitrates ALL body armor and Body Expertise makes it so all body shots gets 90% Headshot bonus damage. ALSO leach makes it so it takes 10 hits in total to kill you, takedowns can be avoided by Pumping Iron Aced, and because they are a crew they can have different builds to protect against batman in different scenarios. there are soo many other skills /perk decks that I will not go over because this comment is too long already So would the Payday Gang win in this scenario? idk i didn't play the arkham games
Of course batman trounces the payday gang, but for the sake of fun I'm gonna craft some ways I could see the payday gang getting very very very very lucky. Most of these presume they know batman is going to counter them when they rob a bank in gotham. And most involve batman underestimating the payday gang to be nothing more than joker goons. Way 1: When normally patrolling, batman only has a certain set of gadgets with him, A small gasmask or breathing tube I'd imagine is usually not something batman would bring with him unless expecting to encounter an underwater battle or the scarecrow. the payday gang strategically chooses a bank with a beefy vault with a physical and long turn lock that they can sleuth the code to, and have three of the heisters enter, having one hide outside the vault (which wouldn't look weird from detective mode scan since civs are probably hiding from the bank robbers) they can maybe get batman to follow them into the vault in order to pull them out, the third one slams close the vault behind him and the other three their viper grenades (which in game to not effect them presumably due to the filters in their masks), unless batman just happens to have his respirator, or figures out a way to blow open the door, he would probably be defeated or knocked out by the gas even if he takes out the other three. Second: the payday gang have the advantage of prep time, In numerous heists they can plan many different ways to escape, Like the bus escape from big bank, Having a bus drive through a wall into a section of the bank at a specified time when batman is on foot would most certainly catch batman off gaurd, possibly defeat him (probably not) but more likely stun him. Also batman would most likely not expect the payday gang to have a helicopter pilot and heavy artillery at their disposal (bile), as well as ilija the sniper. If batman stayed still in one spot for too long or was in a large open area ilija might get a shot off, or bile could drop explosives through a skylight or straight through the roof on batman when he's not expecting it. With sentries providing pressure, ECMS jamming any of batmans hacking/electrical gear, plus the insane power of graze or any other broken perks (shoot a civ or gaurd) near batman and he takes headshot damage, plus everything else they payday gang has armament wise (explosives, shock grenades, AP round weapons, Heavy snipers, etc) and the sheer crime experience they have I think they payday gang has a very very small chance of beating batman, but a decent chance of at least escaping from him.
considering how all of the factors from the games have to be considered, I sniper would likely turn the tide for batman because of snipers ability to instantly break armor and take a chunk of your health
Don't know why we argue about this. If we only take lore batman w, if we take game payday w. Why is it an insta w for pd gang? Counterattack skills, while charging melee, you knock their ass to the ground for 3-4 seconds. Optimized builds/groups can take a zealdozer down in 2. And don't take players into account saying "cloaker can beat their ass" if we say that, batman can techincally stand still in gunfire until he dies. Also shockproof to being tased. Also they can easily out stealth him because they can literally jump through a high value camera, security Or literally anything without getting noticed.
What I don’t think you’ve considered is, while yes Batman would likely win the first fight, but because the payday gang only completes heists in groups of 4, and there is over 20 of them, and also that they have preformed rituals to basically people who are almost gods (the kings) and put their dead teammates into the body’s of presidents, I think the remaining members of the gang that was not in the first fight would then use some ancient religion bullshit to win the second fight, but that’s just my take Long story short: Batman destroys gang in first fight, remaining members find out, remaining members prepare and use ancient religion rituals for power or to just outright defeat him, payday gang wins in second fight by killing Batman and then breaks the 4 that gets arrested out and continue the crime wave. This is just what I could think of on the top of my head, so their is probably not any merit to this theory, so idk
6:48 not entirely true, Chains is an ex-NAVY SEAL in Payday Canon. So, Chains would surprisingly possibly be able to stand up to the batman in a close quarters fight, for some time. Chains likely wouldn't be able to beat batman in hand-to-hand combat, but he'd be able to hold his own until the others would be able to assist him.
also, if the gang had counterstrike basic (or if you'd consider batman to be like a cloaker, then aced) it would just be completely over for batman if he tried to go with hand-to-hand combat.
Depends on the winning condition. If It is just to get out with money they might be able to the sameway Bane pulled a fast one on Batman. They would more then likely would pick a day when the Joker or another high tier villain was doing a crime and then go hit the bank. This is in some cannons of Batman confirmed to be the case as to how Joker gets out of Akraham (Mob bosses throwing money to get him out of jail) However, The Payday gangs biggest downside is they are not super ruthless to the point of killing civilians all willy nilly..Since It means Batman will call their bluff on killing people and more then likely would act on that. In that case It is a Battle of avoiding It all together..
If your gonna use Arkham Knight Batman why did you leave out the multi takedown mechanic ? Its shown for a split second when you throw the smoke grenade down at the people and its a big staple for Arkham Knight basically its allows Batman take down up to 5 enemies (when fully upgraded) in an instant. And its explained in the game as a reason for his new redesigned costume, his new suit is suppose to be better, stronger and lighter than older versions offering the best defence and offensive capabilities, one thing that must be noted too is Batman took down Scarecrow and the Arkham Knight and most of his rogues gallery in one night, and Scarecrow and the Arkham Knight who we now know is Jason Todd had an army of tanks and militia that helped them take over gotham and they pose as the main antagonists throughout the gameplay. I think batman takes it with a multi takedown taking out everyone before they can react
I'd say the fight fully requires the Payday gang getting their perk trees and abilities cuz going with strict lore they've lost You're putting above average human hesiters against a superhuman with decades of experience and skill dealing with threats like this. Including gameplay makes it very weird but its the only way they can fight Batman as in the lore the gang are just really good criminals.

He uses powerful magnets to break down the guns in a localized area. Trust me, in a world of guns that can turn anything into ABSOLUTE ZERO (Freeze’s gun), or can one-shot Kryptonians (gravity guns that bend space and crank up gravity few million times fold in a small sphere)….. Batman having a pseudo-magical super-precise magnet gun is not that far fetched.

technically payday gang has experienced overkill cloakers and billions of cops nuclear warheads and carry a ammo bag with the perk deck with a rpg to make a infinite ammo rpg which since of the crews accuracy and bulls eye the damage would be overkill even more overkill if all four were doing that for 15 seconds straight but we all know there's a lot more uses so that means you can add 1 extra too all ammo bags for skill and then all 4 will carry em so 15x18= 270 so 270s of constant rpgs to the head multiplied by like 2 so that's why payday gang will win

I love both Batman and Payday but I want to say that I think in this scenario, the Payday gang would be very aware of Batman and his capabilities. For the sake of the scenario, the reputation of the Batman would be very well known and I don’t think the Payday gang would underestimate him if they were serious about a heist in Gotham City. The gang has performed successful heists on very high security locations such as the headquarters of the FBI & the White House itself. They have the skill and resources to match the firepower of America’s best operators and even Murkywater. And the hits that they have performed on such locations have had planning go into them, even using insiders to plant tools ahead of time. The point is that the Payday gang do not operate in an unprepared manner and someone with the reputation of the Batman would definitely be taken seriously by the strategic minds of the gang. The Payday gang can be compared to “thugs” but they are significantly more organized and successful than the average organized crime gang in Gotham. Not to discredit Batman’s feats but a lot of criminals in Gotham struggle vs a singular person while the Payday gang have fought entire groups of heavily militarized forces. The Payday gang could very well stop Batman since their focus would all be on him, and therefore allowing the gang more room to get one over Batman. Don’t get me wrong though. I do think Batman would beat the Payday gang but I think a well prepared gang could very well force Batman to disengage. It would also depend how seriously Batman would take the Payday gang and if he’s well aware of their crazier heists or simply views them as simple street thugs.

There wouldnt be crime. Payday police force is very competent and VERY ruthless, literally no other police force would conduct an assault in the scale of the payday games if there is even 1 hostage involved, they really dont give much of a shit. Dozers are even implied to border the line between what is human and what isnt human anymore, you can even argue that Skulldozers, minigun dozers and zeal dozers are not human. Considering that many heists you can just fight forever and kill literally thousand of dozers. It means that there would be more than enough police to stop almost every crime dead on its tracks and the overwhelming use of force would deter many from trying.
i would say batman would win since he could disrupt most of their gear, not to mention a fear takedown can take 5 people out at once, assuming he is fully upgraded, he also has the remote electrical charge to overpower the tech and make them dysfunctional. so batman would probably win assuming its only the 5 main members.
The problem is... If batman can get upgraded, the gang can have their decks and shit, a single stoic can kill batman, and if they go down they can also swan song, if batman tries to melee then counter activates, they can literally gun him down with a portable minigun
There is one thing that would make Bats' life in this fight just _slightly_ more difficult -- the gang needs to see him first, sure, but they have wallhacks too. Even if it's not literal wallhacks, the outlines imply that the team's co-ordinated enough to keep track of where high-threat targets like the special units are moving around. ...Ah, never mind, that just means they'll know where the knockout blow came from.

And since this is Arkham Batman, he could just do things like: Yanking them off of a ledge with the batclaw, collapsing the ceiling onto them with explosive gel or the super batclaw, exploding the floor out from under them, or shocking the crap out of them with the sonic batarang.
For context surrounding Arkham Batman, he is able to hurt Killer Croc with his punches who can in turn shrug off gunfire like nothing and tear through concrete walls and steel bars. Batman is durable enough to survive an entire building exploding with him in it during Harley Quinn's revenge. Batman can also take a bullet to the stomach and keep fighting. Batman can move and fight so fast a normal human cannot physically react to him. Batman with Fear Takedowns (his full speed) can move so fast bullets appear to freeze in the air. That's only Batman's strength, toughness, and speed. This already makes the fight extremely one sided, that's not even taking into account Batman's numerous gadgets.
Batman is essentially Marvel’s Captain America, with the same “peak human” bs status, but without confirmed steroids. Yeah, humans don’t beat superhuman enemies realistically. I don’t doubt that the payday gang wouldn’t beat Batman, but I think it’s possible if everything lines up right that the payday gang could manage to get away from him. After all, the other guys Batman has fought usually get to power through numbers, yet consistently, the gang has only needed 4 heist era for any job and they face against endless police hoards, they aren’t exactly what Batman is used to.
While that’s true, keep in mind: Batman isn’t what they’re used to either. Not all the Cloakers in the world could match the sheer unnatural/uncanny skill and methods that Batman brings to the table.

I think the payday gang would give Batman quite a fight and I believe their first encounter (assuming neither know each other) would end up in a tie with both sides having to retreat to fight another day. Now both knowing what each is capable of (or at least the existence of each other) they would both prepare way better, the payday gang may even bring along more than their standard 4 considering the overwhelming risk Batman imposes on them. It would be a VERY interesting fight and not an easy one for either side but I believe at the end of the day Batman would come out on top. It would be a very interesting comic tho! I just imagine is Vlad the one preparing the gang to fight Batman and INSTANTLY everything turns into utter mayhem, mf would probably tell them to steal a nuke (again) just to deal with Batman, steal a EMP bomb, or even steal some military equipment. I don't think it's a fair comparison if Batman gets all of his canon abilities and equipment but the gang is narrowed down to only the stuff shown in the live action movies and the 4 basic heisters. But even then, the scenario the gang can win it is simple. Batman makes one tiny mistake, and he gets shot in the head for it. This is even a canon ability for the gang - the FBI files in PD2 mention how they counter-snipe snipers with handguns, they are all sharpshooters. Also, assuming that the Batman and the gang existed in the same universe, it is impossible for the gang not to know about his existence and prepare for him. If anything, their confrontation should be a mock-heist with the real intention of luring the Batman into a trap. Then there are also the connections of the gang, reaching all the way into the highest echelons of Washington DC.

Even Arkham knight who knows Batman best says that the weakest point is somewhere in his torso armor, so presumably the head is incredibly armored. Also, he even gets shot at this area, AND SURVIVES. Along with the fact that even if the payday gang get their full arsenal, batman is extremely fast for a human, being able to take out multiple enemies without a sound. I ain't gonna lie I think batman would still win no matter the scenario, but I think the payday gang's expertise is downplayed here. I mean, the payday gang, with just the base four heisters, are not just simple heisters with homemade equipment. They are a team of professionals that created high-tech gadgets, experienced with multiple types of firearms, hand-to-hand skills on par with pro MMA-to-Special Forces trained combatants, and resilience to go through up to 3 day heists back-to-back. Dallas himself, while I think being the weakest out of the four, was able to survive by himself multiple confrontations with mafias and other gangs (as if he was red hood without the Lazarus pit boost). He also lead the gang through underground military bases, a impenetrable prison, a train going full speed while fighting a three-way battle between biker gangs and police, hundreds of cops assaulting the safe house, and has fought officers on Death Sentence that have the highest grade equipment possible. Hoxton was able to survive a prison break, narrow down hector who put him there (in the same day), and was a critical member of all the Payday gang's serious moments. Wolf was intelligent enough to create sentry turrets with multiple functions (sniper turrets, flame turrets, machine gun turrets) and his brutality puts him on par with the likes of jacket. Chains, who I think is probably the strongest member of the gang, has training with the Marines and Navy Seals, fought along side someone like John Wick, and has been the muscle for every single event the main crew has ever been in. Also, he survived a police assault on his own property without the help of other members, including Bain. Lastly, speaking of Bain, he is a mastermind of a underground criminal network and was able to create plans on the spot in case things went sour. If I had to say the odds for the Payday gang of winning would be, it would have to be a closer matchup. The odds would be Batman 6/10 times to Payday 4/10. Like I said, I think Batman would win still most of the time, I'm just saying that these guys can be on the level of batman villains that have nearly killed him (like Dark Knight Bane, Joker, or Deathstroke). If Bain had intel of Batman and wanted to figure out a way to get rid of him, the Payday gang could formulate a plan or a backup plan to take him out. That, or they were well-coordinated enough to overwhelm him.
Still, it does not beat DC/Marvel’s “peak human” characters. For reference, Marvel’s Captain America and Spider Man are “peak human”. Likewise, Batman is “peak human” in his universe. Same with Bane, who shrugs off bullets like peashooters. Technically even Saitama (one punch man) is “peak human” in his universe, but that universe’s definition of peak human is purely self-actualizing angel. That is kinda a very very far reaching stretch of what “peak human” means. But Batman? Even Amanda Waller lists his as “A-tier metahuman” in her files, with S-tier combat intelligence. Normal humans cannot take that kind of supernatural onslaught, they just can’t.

Batman dealt with a small army that took over gotham and knew everything about him along with the 2 leaders. It only took one night for him to deal with them and getting rid of them from the entire city. The Payday characters are really tough as well, they have been fighting armies of police a lot. But Batman could just use his advantage of stealth when fighting against them.

Thing is, during the day, Batman is Bruce Wayne. You forgot that. It would take Bruce time to get to either a standby Batsuit, or more time to get back to the Batcave and get his real Batsuit. If the Payday gang goes into a bank guns blazing, they have time before Batman shows up, and Bane/Shade would help them prep as Bruce preps from his CEO job into his Batman gear. I'd be more worried about Joker hearing about the Payday gang using clown masks and having his gang show up. If that's the case, it would be a complete clusterF of Payday gang vs Joker's gang vs the cops by the time Batman arrives at the scene. THAT level of chaos might allow the Payday gang to escape by whatever plan Bane/Shade has for them, especially if Joker himself makes an appearance. Joker might keep Batman busy enough for Payday to escape. That's the ONLY way I see the Payday gang getting out of this, if they somehow involve the Joker to complicate things.

Arkham batman has fought deathstroke, deadshot, bane, and the red hood. 3 of them being way better with guns than the Payday crew put together. Batman wins this no diff

The problem here is that batman's gun-jamming-gun only works in the games because of RFID laws passed in that universe (And because everyone found fighting armed enemies annoying in the first game). As well as it not only being limited by number, but also sometimes not working entirely. So the gang is safe there.
We can also calk-up the skills as being supernatural in nature, on some small level (This would explain the ability to see guards through walls and shake their alliances with just shouting).
Unlike most criminals, the gang also have a habit of looking up on account of helicopters and snipers often being present wherever they go. Not too much of an issue for the bat, as he can just move. But taking the game play mechanics and making them canonical powers, could prove a headache if pinged.
Another thing to take account of is the wealth of the payday gang before the reset in 3. Just like the bat, they have billions to launder around for this. Including thermal vision.
All-in-all, this is a pretty fun thought exercise.
The disruptor bolts can be rigged to explode, outright destroying the weapon and knocking out the person trying to fire, this doesn’t require RFID.

I can't imagine a scenario where the Payday Gang wins, but I do think they'd probably put up a better fight than Gotham's typical criminals. To give them the best odds possible, they'd probably be working with one of the local supervillains, such as Black Mask, and they would also have more of their expanded crew with them helping out. Batman's still coming out on top, he does take down an entire armed militia specifically trained to counter and kill him in Arkham Knight after all, but he'd definitely notice that these grunts he's dealing with are a cut above the usual rabble he's used to dealing with.

The Payday Gang has done some crazy jobs. From raiding military bases, breaking into well secured areas, and even assaulting the White House.
Keep in mind that the Payday Gang has held off near battalions worth of police and military. The Payday Gang also "least in game" have very wacky and unrealistic perks. Some literally allow one of the Gang members to have infinite ammo, make cops turn on their own men.
But if you had to select some more Grounded perks. Some that allow you do deflect a cloaker doing a batmanish drop kick, yelling to get your teammates up, and even some Perk trees. The Payday would fall alone if they split up, but most cases they stick together. Keep in mind, you forgot one crucial detail.
Baine.
Bain has always been their eyes and ears, if anything he might be able to atleast give them a heads up. Of course, Batman could trick them by giving false orders. But the Payday crew are not as unintelligent as your average crook goon. They might find it suspicious when Bain is giving out random orders or breaking off from the plan.
I say it would be a tough fight, if the builds they came up with were peak player builds and they had the wider aresel like heavier caliber weapons, Explosives, and gadgets.

If Scarecrow didn't approach you or you weren't already in Gotham you were just left out.
So I do agree the gang has almost no chance but like I wonder if anything would change if Batman walked in expecting four some what armed thugs and ended up having to fight four heavily armored thugs with rocket launchers, double mini guns, and Grenade launchers. I’m talking a fully prepared loud squad of gamers that are aware of Batman and are prepared for it. Although I’m not saying this would mean the pay day gang would win I’m just saying with the gangs weaponry and semi-awareness of the place they are heisting I doubt they would hit a Gotham bank without expecting a visit from the dark knight.

Remember, the Payday gang broke in and successfully stole an artifact from underneath the White House that allows the user to switch bodies. Not only that, but they successfully got away with it. They've fought the US Military and won. They've broke into a Murkywater underground facility. Keep in mind, Murkywater is supposed to be the best of the best. The militia from Batman Arkham Knight where so stupid, they needed Jason constantly on comms reminding them of their training. TYGER which can be equated to a lower tier than Murkywater, was able to give Batman a run for his money. Jokers goons also successfully captured Batman and held him hostage for 3 days. They would've successfully killed Batman if it wasn't for Robin saving him. Not to mention how Batman was successfully knocked out by Clayface Joker and Harley.
TL;DR Payday gang fought Murkywater and the US Military. Batman was nearly killed by Jokers goons, requiring Robin to save him. Batman also got knocked out by fake Joker and Harley Quinn.

I like the video but I have some recommendations to better these kind of videos in the future.
Perhaps if you established some other win conditions you could make match ups like these much more interesting. An example from the top of my head would be for the gang if perhaps they successfully avoid the Batman. Then go on to explain how Batman could prevent that. Maybe another example for Batman could be a lose condition, if he fails to stop a severe amount of civilian casualties and how Batman might need to go that extra mile to ensure that doesn’t happen. Making the scenario much more harder than a simple Team A Vs Team B.

assuming they would get downed Batman would have to kill them 96 times if they all use medic bags and with Surefire and Body Expertise all it takes is a few shots for Batman to die because of the fact that Surefire Ace penitrates ALL body armor and Body Expertise makes it so all body shots gets 90% Headshot bonus damage. ALSO leach makes it so it takes 10 hits in total to kill you, takedowns can be avoided by Pumping Iron Aced, and because they are a crew they can have different builds to protect against batman in different scenarios. there are soo many other skills /perk decks that I will not go over because this comment is too long already

Payday wouldnt exist without that first bank heist scene from The Dark Knight... Think about that.
Of course batman trounces the payday gang, but for the sake of fun I'm gonna craft some ways I could see the payday gang getting very very very very lucky. Most of these presume they know batman is going to counter them when they rob a bank in gotham. And most involve batman underestimating the payday gang to be nothing more than joker goons. Way 1: When normally patrolling, batman only has a certain set of gadgets with him, A small gasmask or breathing tube I'd imagine is usually not something batman would bring with him unless expecting to encounter an underwater battle or the scarecrow. the payday gang strategically chooses a bank with a beefy vault with a physical and long turn lock that they can sleuth the code to, and have three of the heisters enter, having one hide outside the vault (which wouldn't look weird from detective mode scan since civs are probably hiding from the bank robbers) they can maybe get batman to follow them into the vault in order to pull them out, the third one slams close the vault behind him and the other three their viper grenades (which in game to not effect them presumably due to the filters in their masks), unless batman just happens to have his respirator, or figures out a way to blow open the door, he would probably be defeated or knocked out by the gas even if he takes out the other three. Second: the payday gang have the advantage of prep time, In numerous heists they can plan many different ways to escape, Like the bus escape from big bank, Having a bus drive through a wall into a section of the bank at a specified time when batman is on foot would most certainly catch batman off gaurd, possibly defeat him (probably not) but more likely stun him. Also batman would most likely not expect the payday gang to have a helicopter pilot and heavy artillery at their disposal (bile), as well as ilija the sniper. If batman stayed still in one spot for too long or was in a large open area ilija might get a shot off, or bile could drop explosives through a skylight or straight through the roof on batman when he's not expecting it. With sentries providing pressure, ECMS jamming any of batmans hacking/electrical gear, plus the insane power of graze or any other broken perks (shoot a civ or gaurd) near batman and he takes headshot damage, plus everything else they payday gang has armament wise (explosives, shock grenades, AP round weapons, Heavy snipers, etc) and the sheer crime experience they have I think they payday gang has a very very small chance of beating batman, but a decent chance of at least escaping from him.
considering how all of the factors from the games have to be considered, I sniper would likely turn the tide for batman because of snipers ability to instantly break armor and take a chunk of your health

Don't know why we argue about this. If we only take lore batman w, if we take game payday w. Why is it an insta w for pd gang? Counterattack skills, while charging melee, you knock their ass to the ground for 3-4 seconds. Optimized builds/groups can take a zealdozer down in 2. And don't take players into account saying "cloaker can beat their ass" if we say that, batman can techincally stand still in gunfire until he dies. Also shockproof to being tased. Also they can easily out stealth him because they can literally jump through a high value camera, security

What I don’t think you’ve considered is, while yes Batman would likely win the first fight, but because the payday gang only completes heists in groups of 4, and there is over 20 of them, and also that they have preformed rituals to basically people who are almost gods (the kings) and put their dead teammates into the body’s of presidents, I think the remaining members of the gang that was not in the first fight would then use some ancient religion bullshit to win the second fight, but that’s just my take
Long story short: Batman destroys gang in first fight, remaining members find out, remaining members prepare and use ancient religion rituals for power or to just outright defeat him, payday gang wins in second fight by killing Batman and then breaks the 4 that gets arrested out and continue the crime wave.
This is just what I could think of on the top of my head, so their is probably not any merit to this theory, so idk

6:48 not entirely true, Chains is an ex-NAVY SEAL in Payday Canon. So, Chains would surprisingly possibly be able to stand up to the batman in a close quarters fight, for some time. Chains likely wouldn't be able to beat batman in hand-to-hand combat, but he'd be able to hold his own until the others would be able to assist him.
also, if the gang had counterstrike basic (or if you'd consider batman to be like a cloaker, then aced) it would just be completely over for batman if he tried to go with hand-to-hand combat.
Depends on the winning condition. If It is just to get out with money they might be able to the sameway Bane pulled a fast one on Batman. They would more then likely would pick a day when the Joker or another high tier villain was doing a crime and then go hit the bank.

If your gonna use Arkham Knight Batman why did you leave out the multi takedown mechanic ? Its shown for a split second when you throw the smoke grenade down at the people and its a big staple for Arkham Knight basically its allows Batman take down up to 5 enemies (when fully upgraded) in an instant. And its explained in the game as a reason for his new redesigned costume, his new suit is suppose to be better, stronger and lighter than older versions offering the best defence and offensive capabilities, one thing that must be noted too is Batman took down Scarecrow and the Arkham Knight and most of his rogues gallery in one night, and Scarecrow and the Arkham Knight who we now know is Jason Todd had an army of tanks and militia that helped them take over gotham and they pose as the main antagonists throughout the gameplay. I think batman takes it with a multi takedown taking out everyone before they can react

I love both Batman and Payday but I want to say that I think in this scenario, the Payday gang would be very aware of Batman and his capabilities. For the sake of the scenario, the reputation of the Batman would be very well known and I don’t think the Payday gang would underestimate him if they were serious about a heist in Gotham City.
The gang has performed successful heists on very high security locations such as the headquarters of the FBI & the White House itself. They have the skill and resources to match the firepower of America’s best operators and even Murkywater. And the hits that they have performed on such locations have had planning go into them, even using insiders to plant tools ahead of time. The point is that the Payday gang do not operate in an unprepared manner and someone with the reputation of the Batman would definitely be taken seriously by the strategic minds of the gang.
The Payday gang can be compared to “thugs” but they are significantly more organized and successful than the average organized crime gang in Gotham. Not to discredit Batman’s feats but a lot of criminals in Gotham struggle vs a singular person while the Payday gang have fought entire groups of heavily militarized forces. The Payday gang could very well stop Batman since their focus would all be on him, and therefore allowing the gang more room to get one over Batman.
Don’t get me wrong though. I do think Batman would beat the Payday gang but I think a well prepared gang could very well force Batman to disengage. It would also depend how seriously Batman would take the Payday gang and if he’s well aware of their crazier heists or simply views them as simple street thugs.
So in very best case scenario, the payday gang can force a tie.

Dozers are even implied to border the line between what is human and what isnt human anymore, you can even argue that Skulldozers, minigun dozers and zeal dozers are not human.
Considering that many heists you can just fight forever and kill literally thousand of dozers. It means that there would be more than enough police to stop almost every crime dead on its tracks and the overwhelming use of force would deter many from trying.
i would say batman would win since he could disrupt most of their gear, not to mention a fear takedown can take 5 people out at once, assuming he is fully upgraded, he also has the remote electrical charge to overpower the tech and make them dysfunctional. so batman would probably win assuming its only the 5 main members.
The least a fear-takedown can do is take out 3 people. Which one leave one dude left.

There is one thing that would make Bats' life in this fight just _slightly_ more difficult -- the gang needs to see him first, sure, but they have wallhacks too. Even if it's not literal wallhacks, the outlines imply that the team's co-ordinated enough to keep track of where high-threat targets like the special units are moving around.
...Ah, never mind, that just means they'll know where the knockout blow came from.

And since this is Arkham Batman, he could just do things like: Yanking them off of a ledge with the batclaw, collapsing the ceiling onto them with explosive gel or the super batclaw, exploding the floor out from under them, or shocking the crap out of them with the sonic batarang.

For context surrounding Arkham Batman, he is able to hurt Killer Croc with his punches who can in turn shrug off gunfire like nothing and tear through concrete walls and steel bars.
Batman is durable enough to survive an entire building exploding with him in it during Harley Quinn's revenge. Batman can also take a bullet to the stomach and keep fighting.
Batman can move and fight so fast a normal human cannot physically react to him. Batman with Fear Takedowns (his full speed) can move so fast bullets appear to freeze in the air.
That's only Batman's strength, toughness, and speed. This already makes the fight extremely one sided, that's not even taking into account Batman's numerous gadgets.
Batman is essentially Marvel’s Captain America, with the same “peak human” bs status, but without confirmed steroids.

I don’t doubt that the payday gang wouldn’t beat Batman, but I think it’s possible if everything lines up right that the payday gang could manage to get away from him. After all, the other guys Batman has fought usually get to power through numbers, yet consistently, the gang has only needed 4 heist era for any job and they face against endless police hoards, they aren’t exactly what Batman is used to.
They always say that, “not what Batman is used to,” and then Batman proves otherwise every single time.
While that’s true, keep in mind: Batman isn’t what they’re used to either. Not all the Cloakers in the world could match the sheer unnatural/uncanny skill and methods that Batman brings to the table.

The Payday Gang's best bet would require EVERY SINGLE HEISTER THAT HAS EVER BEEN PLAYABLE to fight as a whole ass unit. And even then their chances aren't favorable to put it nicely.

I think the payday gang would give Batman quite a fight and I believe their first encounter (assuming neither know each other) would end up in a tie with both sides having to retreat to fight another day.
Now both knowing what each is capable of (or at least the existence of each other) they would both prepare way better, the payday gang may even bring along more than their standard 4 considering the overwhelming risk Batman imposes on them. It would be a VERY interesting fight and not an easy one for either side but I believe at the end of the day Batman would come out on top.
It would be a very interesting comic tho! I just imagine is Vlad the one preparing the gang to fight Batman and INSTANTLY everything turns into utter mayhem, mf would probably tell them to steal a nuke (again) just to deal with Batman, steal a EMP bomb, or even steal some military equipment. @coralcopperhead685 I honestly think they can win with just aced inspire and just blunt melee weapons.They'll go into a heist with guns and the like for the police force,gotham's police force is miles below Payday's so they are barely any trouble.but then bats is gonna show up i dont know too many of arkham bats weapons but the main ones i know are explosive gel,shock gloves and hand to hand combat plus stealth takedowns.Explosive gel takes too long to set up in a face to face fight so he'll have to hide it somehow usually behind walls so just stay away from any walls and huddle together in the middle of wherever they're heisting when batman decides to stealth take down someone, just shoot him down when he tries to go back into the shadows.If he goes for engaging in hand to hand combat he is definitely starting off with taking one of them down instantly and then disarming all of their weapons this is why instead of going for melee weapons that can stab or something, i opted for just blunt melee so don't take any major injuries right now one guy is downed and the others are probably getting their asses mercilessly beaten but batmam is diverting his attention between 3 dudes there are definitely a lot of chances to use aced inspire.Cloaker's takedowns do not count towards the total down count before being arrested so its likely the same scenario with batman,with this they can infinitely fight batman until he eventually makes mistakes
I don't think it's a fair comparison if Batman gets all of his canon abilities and equipment but the gang is narrowed down to only the stuff shown in the live action movies and the 4 basic heisters. But even then, the scenario the gang can win it is simple. Batman makes one tiny mistake, and he gets shot in the head for it. This is even a canon ability for the gang - the FBI files in PD2 mention how they counter-snipe snipers with handguns, they are all sharpshooters. Also, assuming that the Batman and the gang existed in the same universe, it is impossible for the gang not to know about his existence and prepare for him. If anything, their confrontation should be a mock-heist with the real intention of luring the Batman into a trap. Then there are also the connections of the gang, reaching all the way into the highest echelons of Washington DC.

Even Arkham knight who knows Batman best says that the weakest point is somewhere in his torso armor, so presumably the head is incredibly armored. Also, he even gets shot at this area, AND SURVIVES. Along with the fact that even if the payday gang get their full arsenal, batman is extremely fast for a human, being able to take out multiple enemies without a sound. Even if they group up, ever hear of a fear multi take down? Lastly, Batman has already dealt with SEVERAL sharpshooters, like dead shot and Arkham knight

I ain't gonna lie I think batman would still win no matter the scenario, but I think the payday gang's expertise is downplayed here. I mean, the payday gang, with just the base four heisters, are not just simple heisters with homemade equipment. They are a team of professionals that created high-tech gadgets, experienced with multiple types of firearms, hand-to-hand skills on par with pro MMA-to-Special Forces trained combatants, and resilience to go through up to 3 day heists back-to-back. Dallas himself, while I think being the weakest out of the four, was able to survive by himself multiple confrontations with mafias and other gangs (as if he was red hood without the Lazarus pit boost). He also lead the gang through underground military bases, a impenetrable prison, a train going full speed while fighting a three-way battle between biker gangs and police, hundreds of cops assaulting the safe house, and has fought officers on Death Sentence that have the highest grade equipment possible. Hoxton was able to survive a prison break, narrow down hector who put him there (in the same day), and was a critical member of all the Payday gang's serious moments. Wolf was intelligent enough to create sentry turrets with multiple functions (sniper turrets, flame turrets, machine gun turrets) and his brutality puts him on par with the likes of jacket. Chains, who I think is probably the strongest member of the gang, has training with the Marines and Navy Seals, fought along side someone like John Wick, and has been the muscle for every single event the main crew has ever been in. Also, he survived a police assault on his own property without the help of other members, including Bain. Lastly, speaking of Bain, he is a mastermind of a underground criminal network and was able to create plans on the spot in case things went sour.
If I had to say the odds for the Payday gang of winning would be, it would have to be a closer matchup. The odds would be Batman 6/10 times to Payday 4/10. Like I said, I think Batman would win still most of the time, I'm just saying that these guys can be on the level of batman villains that have nearly killed him (like Dark Knight Bane, Joker, or Deathstroke). If Bain had intel of Batman and wanted to figure out a way to get rid of him, the Payday gang could formulate a plan or a backup plan to take him out. That, or they were well-coordinated enough to overwhelm him.
Still, it does not beat DC/Marvel’s “peak human” characters.
For reference, Marvel’s Captain America and Spider Man are “peak human”.
Likewise, Batman is “peak human” in his universe. Same with Bane, who shrugs off bullets like peashooters.
Technically even Saitama (one punch man) is “peak human” in his universe, but that universe’s definition of peak human is purely self-actualizing angel. That is kinda a very very far reaching stretch of what “peak human” means.

Batman dealt with a small army that took over gotham and knew everything about him along with the 2 leaders. It only took one night for him to deal with them and getting rid of them from the entire city. The Payday characters are really tough as well, they have been fighting armies of police a lot. But Batman could just use his advantage of stealth when fighting against them.
