Hello everyone I want to share my impressions. I recently conducted a large-scale testing of the Everse 8 speaker at a street concert in Kazan. Golden Retro Hits (live vocals) ua-cam.com/video/ZH0lRGB3YUk/v-deo.html Shooting from different angles and distances. The timecodes of the main episodes are given in the pinned comment to the video. I want to note that this Everse 8 is a very good thing, it sounds far ahead and can be clearly heard from all sides. It's just great for its size and weight!
I love the 12V output, but at 0.5A it's not going to power many DJ consoles for a truly outdoor set up. I wish it had at least 1A output. Would I get there by connecting both 12V outputs in parallel so I keep 12V and double the amps? Making such cable would be fairly straight forward. Can someone shine some light on this for me please? Thank you.
Hello! Unfortunately, the output on the back is only meant to power a wireless microphone receiver. EV doesn’t recommend powering anything other than a wireless mic receiver. Let us know if you have any other questions!
@fullcompass I am in two heads about EV speakers. I'd buy the 12" EVERSE, but they told me they don't plan to make it in white.. I really don't understand why if the 8" comes in white!? So I am looking at the ELX200 in white, but I wish I was able to power it via 12V battery to make it portable. Do you know by any chance how much power they actually draw from the 220V input? I am sure the amp doesn't take 220V.
Ps Dublin city Ireland Doesn't have a dealership for Ev? That's why I went for the Alto busker.. But definitely interested in trying out these units 👍😎🎶🔊❓💭

I wish that EV would come out with an Everse 10 with more inputs.

Awesome, thank you!
if the battery should die can you still use the speaker on 240 volt (AUSTRALIAN POWER) WHILE WAITING FOR A REPLACEMENT BATTERY???

Do you need a mixer to run vocal and a guitar with effects?? Without using the app
No. I run the Everse 8 with my stereo guitar. You can put effects from your guitar on one of the channels
Yes, you can access the mixer and DSP controls by clicking the master volume knob to scroll through the settings on the speaker.
No!! Anything you can do on the APP can be done on the backside of the EVERSE Speaker using the QuickSmart knob (the red and gray knob)!
Once you plug in a mic or an instrument, it's not weatherized anymore. Nice try.
