I'm sorry Mr C, but you taking down your table put me in mind of someone struggling trying to put a deckchair up lol.... love your vlogs you're a natural...I've done a couple of carboots but many many craft fairs and outside markets, great life x
Well the breaking down of the table was entertainment enough but I loved the whole video. Glad you had success and got to purge some stuff, that's always so gratifying. I could totally relate with chomping at the bit to go shopping for treasures, it was killing ME and I wasn't even there. :P
Loooove doing a car booter,', big tip , completely turn the table upside down so it's laying flat then fold the legs in,,,, easy lol xxx
okay so im like a minute in (and confession time here, i've never been to a carboot) but, im shook at how many customers there are so early... i need to get my butt down to a carboot!!!

I don't know if it's your voice or the entire aesthetic of your videos but there's something so calming and relaxing, yet inspiring about them. On one hand, I want to get out the spray paint and upcycle something, on the other, I just want to crawl up on a couch and watch your videos back to back whilst sipping a cup of tea.
I hope to go to England one day and go to one of these car boot sales! They look like fun.
I’ve done quite a few car boot sales in my time....I always found others coming towards my stall with an arm full of bits I’d quite like, but never been tempted to walk round. I feel so good that I’ve mucked out and feel even better if the car is almost empty upon my return. By the way...you have the most beautiful smile. A ray of sunshine popping up in my notifications box x

Some tips get there early put your tables out then look round then set your stuff up perks of being a stall holder put a sign up when you reduce stuff and take sandwiches

Good way to get rid of stuff toward the end of your sale is let ppl fill up a bag or small box for a dollar, or pound in you case. Your get clear out FAST!
Havent done a car boot sale for years but used to love doing them. Its better to do it with someone else though as it can get boring, plus you have someone there to watch the stall while you go bargain hunting or to send out for brekkie!

I used to be a cleaner clean houses in Epsom near the clock tower and there is a wilko nice charity shops as well

I do like getting rid of stuff at a car boot sale. Like to see my things that no longer get used go to people who actually want/need them and a bit of extra £ helps too! Hope you didn't buy too much😉

I love a carboot.....we do ours at Apps court farm in Walton on thames....always make good money....do 2/3 s year makes enough for spending money for hols......great video thx 👛
We don't really have car boot sales here, but have garage sales instead, where people come to your home. I think car boot sales would be better and I would consider it if it were an option. How is Kate doing?

That’s one of my local carboots! I was away last weekend but would’ve gone down to meet you if I’d known you’d be there! It’s a great car boot site there, I went there last year after you & Kate did! It was good fun! 😀 I much prefer buying to selling as well! 😄

I’m with you on that Mr C, I’ve done a few boot fairs in the past but I much prefer to be on the other side of the table, wandering and buying 😂 when I have my clear outs I do 3 piles, 1 to put up on eBay to sell, 1 to give to the charity shops & the last pile is for the tip. I can’t be doing with getting up at such a crazy time in the morning to be able to get a good spot at the boot fair, where I live, the earlier you que the better the spot you get for your table, after the 4th row if the booty is large people give up and go home so you really need to be in the 1st 3 rows. Looked like you got rid of quite a few things 🤗, if you do another 1, con some1 into going with you, that way you can go wander while they look after the stall 😂😂

Yes I’ve done one car boot. I would like to sell at another but getting up at 4:30am (on a Sunday!) to get to the gates at 5:30am doesn’t appeal really. I’ve thought about ebaying it all but then that actually costs me for the packaging. Oh the pains lol it will all go to the charity shop in the end

Lay the table on it's side to fold it down, it's much easier!

I'd recommend spending a bit more and getting a sturdy plastic one from costco

We used to sell at the swap meet often.
We don’t have car boot sales here in the US, some flea markets you can drive your car to. From doing yard and garage sales, people are all the same I guess. Arrive early and haggle the price down.

I’ve sold at car boots many times and made over 80 pounds each time my best I made was £123.09 . But I love buying more , you made me laugh by the way you folded your table I thought it was going to sallow you up lol 😂

SANDRA ESCOBAR I live in Hampshire and do the car boot. In Andover or Thatcham I do sell lots of stuff for a pound but if I have something more value I always stick to a price if near the end I still have it I will lower my price .
Loved the video; I love car boot sales & charity shops but have only ever sold once & it was an unmitigated failure; It cost us £10 to park & we made £7.50 so essentially a loss of £2.50🤣‼️ I looked to my grown up daughter’s for sympathy to be reminded was it any wonder as I had bought everything from a charity shop or car boot sale over 10 years ago🥴🥴 I’ll stick to buying in future.

Was it worth all of the hassle? Ive always wanted to do a car boot but I havent managed it yet. I laughed so hard watching you take the table down, that would be me! 👍👍😂

Love a good bootsale. Someone offering you 20p from 50p......ppl really do like to take the pee sometimes! It's funny how you completely look at prices differently at a bootsale. It's like if someone charges over £3 it seems a lot but if you go in a shop that's a bargain😂 x

How much did your car boot space cost you? Did you actually make a profit or was it just for the experience? Either way I love when you take us on your adventures.
The pitch cost £13 which is quite high I believe! I think I made £60-£70 profit :)
