Maybe its just me but Marie lost her body to obtain a skullheart while Patricia lost her limbs, eyes, and teeth to obtain power to harass her enemies. Guess polar opposite individual do atract each other
Actually, that’s just a common occurence among skullgirls. Parts of their bodies turn to bone when using their power and can even become something else entirely. Queen Nancy gained a tail made of an elongated spinal column in place of her legs, and all other skullgirls’ arms turned to bone. Marie’s torso (and temporarily her hands) only turns to bone due to her having more control over the heart than her predecessors.

She has an almost elegant air about her. Like cinderella. Playing the roll of a maid and doing a good job of it. But she fights, dances and moves like a well-practiced royal noblewoman who's skills have been mastered over the course of many, many years.
And then we have Annie, the thousand year old warrior with plenty of practice trying to fight the Skullheart, and whose moveset is of somebody who definitely knows where to put a blade, but gives zero fucks about how clean it looks if it means the other person is chunky salsa now
@@lancesmith8298 Annie is an absolute treasure. She fights for what she Loves. And she does what she knows has worked. I am very deeply hoping she doesn't suffer a similar fate to Sienna when the skullgirls are all gone.

Boss in a game full of overpowered characters who fight like beasts and tactical powerhouses: cheap, campy, spam. Character adapted into playable format in said game: just as potent and nuts of a fighter as the rest of the crew

I so hope they give Marie a spinel color palette from steven universe. Whenever I see her pull out that scythe and her old fashioned grace combined with her goofier moves just scream “fancy spinel” to me!

Первым делом, конечно, персонаж должен выйти в пк-версии, потом уже на мобилку. Если вспомнить выход той же самой Энни, Амбры, на все про все понадобилось около года. Т.е. от анонса до реализации внутри игры.
