I must say the design is excellent,but in Sanur?Maybe not,
That’s so sad, it’s ruined Sanur. I’ll be going to Jepara in Java or Pulau Riau next time to find a new Sanur and beach destination. Sanur was classy and quiet but now it looks cheap and tacky. A few of my friends now go to Koh Samui instead of Bali because it’s quieter.
Watch it become like Taman Festival in a few years.

I had expected it to be different. Meh, malls will be malls, disappointing. The space could have been used for better things... The only good thing is that in case you're staying near the area and are feeling too hot, you can cool off a bit there... Indeed, good for Indonesians and other Asians, you guys have a mall culture 😁
I don't really keen on mall.. maybe just for movies sometimes. However there are many options already. Just hope this mall is not so busy and causing bad traffic jam.😊

@@versacegang4140 True, but sometimes people on holiday are looking for things to do inside when it's raining or too hot outside. And Balinese people like movies too.
This is not what attracts people to Bali. People will end up going to Cambodia and Vietnam for a bit of authenticity. Sad.

Nowhere, and in a few weeks/months the travel tine will double… Other reasons to avoid the whole of Bali: extensive building of vilas (bye bye countryside) unnecessary Malls (a mall is not a reason to visit Bali, since there better Malls in other parts of Asia), more and more heavy traffic, impolite tourists from Russia and China with no respect for Balis culture, etc etc. Shortsighted action that will back fire

@peli71 just checking if your message is correct... you're opting to "avoid Bali" entirely because of "- traffic, villas tourists from Russia and Chinese-". So what do you suggest? Removing all tourism from Bali and heading where else??
@@peli71yeah Sideman is ruined now and it used to be so beautiful.
To a certain level yes: a. limit the influx of all tourists. b. Stop the access for ill-behaving tourist from Russia, China and India at all. And c. stop the permanent stay of all road-warriors. A community like Bali is not helped by overcrowded villages by persons who are not in the interest of the Balinese people itself. In the long run this will turn against the whole of Bali as tourist are not willing to come to a ruined country(side) full of malls, empty hotels and dilapidated villas and shops.
