I agree I thought he should of been more aggressive in later rounds but he knew he won with points and seemed to be content with that. I give both guys credit.
a surprising amount of sting from these two, as specially for a couple of huge beefy men. I always found too much muscle slows you way down and kills your stamina but wow guys, nice work and strong chins. Great work men!

What everyone here somehow forgets to mention, Thor has somewhat of a small disadvantage in boxing due to the damage caused by the stroke, he only sees the fists on the damaged side shortly before the impact and yet he has decided to box and does not mention this aftermath - that's what I call sportsmanship. 💯👍 UPDATE ( clarification): I did not mention Bell`s Palsy because most people dont know it. I said "stroke" because the Facial paralysis is very similar to that of a stroke. One reason that speaks for a disadvantage in boxing is, among other things, that Bell's Palsy requires symptomatic therapy with artificial tears, dexpanthenol eye ointment and a night-time watch glass bandage, since the eye is constantly irritated because it is no longer possible to close the eyelids completely - it also interferes with the patient's field of vision.

Eddie did amazing on a technical stand point for round 1 - 2 ķeeping shoulder forward and head back to make thor reach to compensate for reach disadvantage. And counter punched really well all rounds. Then round 4 you could see he was mentally tired and physically but managed get good powerful punches where it mattered. 5. Very even fight.6 he was just to empty on the tank. Genuine boxing match
Eddie’s stance and style looked like his right arm was injured. I’ve never seen him fight before and I’m not a big fight person, but Thor looked like he was well coached and seemed in great condition for such a big guy. Guys their size seem to get gassed early and the more conditioned guy wins.
Eddie was so out of shape and burned himself out throwing the jab, massive overhand right in the first two rounds. Thor held his technique and really could have knocked Eddie out given Eddie's lack of defence.
@chrishenley4179 they made the perfect human for brute strength one of the biggest and stronger than any human on planet earth he’s so big and strong that he toyed with ufc legend Connor McGregor
The reason Eddie was doing the weird stance was because it gave his right hand swings more power, downside is it makes it harder to get the perfect headshot.
You can tell Eddie did not take thiss seriously at all he looked like he was fooling around with thor the whole time😂😂 and not even using 2 hands to block or anything just 1 hand 😂
Much respect for those big men. Masterpiece. Eddie was technically under, but damn look at those huge shots hahah Not a strongman champion for nothing!
@@mlksntch Every record is ,,the hardest'' that's why it's world record. Young Mateusz Kieliszkowski has 3 world redcords, Mariusz Pudzianowski won WSM 5 times and a few guys were WSM 4 times. So Eddie wasn't veryspecial as strongman.
Thor had a lot of tactical intelligence to wait, to always rotate to his right and to wait for a physical decline of the opponent because only after the second round he understood that Eddie Hall's dangerous punch was the right one, and that he first ducked to dodge the blows and hit him with a parabolic right punch. Eddie Hall before the eye injury fought very well, but then he lost rhythm and strength. With two counts against one, the result in favor of Thor was inevitable.
My favourite part of the fight was when Eddie did his Rocky III style stance switch and instantly caught a 1 2 from Thor 😂. 19:16 Eddie keeping his hands down like Tyson Fury when he has barely a tenth of the skill was a bold move. Although I did laugh in his training videos when people would comment "keep your hands up" and he'd reply with a clip Ali boxing without keeping his guard up. He really did fall foul of the Dunning-Krueger effect. Still kudos for getting into the ring in the first place and going to the end!
I think Eddie might have been humbled by that fight honestly, and let's be honest if we haven't been humbled by something, then we should expect it to come in the near future.
Yall don’t realize Eddie hall detached his left bicep before this fight about 6 months before so he couldn’t use that arm for blocking/punching whatsoever
You asked about the 1st & 2nd round who won? You said Eddie won but as far as damage goes Eddie got a bloodline eye in each of those rounds while Thor was without major damage
Thing is, #1 criteria is significant strikes, visual impact ("damage") only matters if both fighters are pretty even in terms of the number of effective strikes and knockdowns. Your opponent literally has to dominate the entire rest of the round to make up for an early knockdown.
Honestly I was expecting Thor to destroy Eddie considering he had every advantage u could think of. Also Eddie had 0 defense and was throwing the same punch again and again. Eddie also put Thor on canvas like 3x which is crazy impressive. Thor keeping his hands up the whole time was the only thing that really impressed me from him. Eddie came to KO Thor while Thor was just trying box. Respect to both tho

Thor, 1, 3, 4, 5,6. If the fight went further it would have just got worse for Eddie.
Longest arm body build vs the short arm body build
Thing is he wearing himself down throwing nothing but haymakers thor tagging that Canadian 😂😂😂
Hey. Yeah I agree. I think rounds 1&2 went to Eddie and then the rest to Thor! I think Thor doesn't look that bad. You can tell he really has been taking the training serious ; especially technique. For his size he looks good. Now if he can bring that technique together with his power , he would be pretty darn good. I agree I thought he should of been more aggressive in later rounds but he knew he won with points and seemed to be content with that. I give both guys credit.
u can see they hated each other on the first few rounds...and they started to show respect...seems boxing might actually cleaned the plate
I was expecting more from Eddie.
This fight was nothing like it was hyped up to be not at all.
a surprising amount of sting from these two, as specially for a couple of huge beefy men. I always found too much muscle slows you way down and kills your stamina but wow guys, nice work and strong chins. Great work men!
I'd love to know what Eddie's coach advised him. "So eddie were gonna use the old man with a bad back technique" 😂
Great sportsmanship, Great fight. I never expected this kinda performance from both of em. Hats off my G's. Great match and none of that youtuber boxing shit it's hilarious 🤣
I fully expected the ref to get fish hooked and just fired out into the audience at any moment. 😂
Imagine the knock out power Eddie would have if he had a better stance and footwork.
Also, he should diversify his striking.
I wanted Eddie to win, because of the BS surrounding Eddie's strongman win, but when he said he wouldn't need technique it said a lot, and then his "stance" told me he was for sure not winning, lol. I had the first 2 rounds for Eddie and then the last 4 for Thor.
I’m a little impressed by how fluid Thor was moving. Night and day difference between Thor and Eddie.
Thor needs to be on one of these Viking based shows.
yeah, him and ragnar lothbrok shoulda met in the show lol
Thanks very much it was. A fantastic flight ty
They did better than I expected..
Good stamina for there size as well to go 6 rounds fair play to them..
UPDATE ( clarification): I did not mention Bell`s Palsy because most people dont know it. I said "stroke" because the Facial paralysis is very similar to that of a stroke. One reason that speaks for a disadvantage in boxing is, among other things, that Bell's Palsy requires symptomatic therapy with artificial tears, dexpanthenol eye ointment and a night-time watch glass bandage, since the eye is constantly irritated because it is no longer possible to close the eyelids completely - it also interferes with the patient's field of vision.
he didn't have a stroke. He suffers from Bell's palsy.
@@dnothing23 Ya you are right, I did not mention Bell`s Palsy because most people dont know it. I said "stroke" because the Facial paralysis is very similar to that of a stroke. It’s nerve damage induced a Bels palsy from heavy deadlifting not a stroke.
@@drygordspellweaver8761 Read my other comment man - I already mentioned it.
@@net-twin-de No. You were wrong about the 'stroke' and you did not mention that it came from a deadlift.
Thank you for the video , do u post the ufc bro ?
Eddie did amazing on a technical stand point for round 1 - 2 ķeeping shoulder forward and head back to make thor reach to compensate for reach disadvantage. And counter punched really well all rounds. Then round 4 you could see he was mentally tired and physically but managed get good powerful punches where it mattered. 5. Very even fight.6 he was just to empty on the tank. Genuine boxing match
Lmao, if you think it was technical you know nothing about boxing. Eddie’s technique complete clownery🤡
Thor is the better boxer but Eddie really got booms man.
Thor hits harder. Only one man was truly buzzed
Thor isn't a better boxer, cuz eddie is no boxer at all. Thor learned basics, eddie didn't !
@@winstonsmiththethird7627 Yes, and that makes Thor the better boxer. Comparing to Eddie😂
@@DADA-ey2ir hehe, of course, I was just pointing the fact that eddie's boxing skills just do not exist. I was not seriously saying you were wrong.
The foot work is better then I expected 😮
Eddie looks staggered since start of round 1. Anyone know if that heavy lifting world record is still taking a toll on him?
Probably more of an ego than any other obstacle
9:41 the way eddie switched his stance to southpaw is very comical hahahahaha
Eddie is like when you playing those 90's fighting games and spamming the 'heavy punch' button 😂
Eddie’s stance and style looked like his right arm was injured. I’ve never seen him fight before and I’m not a big fight person, but Thor looked like he was well coached and seemed in great condition for such a big guy. Guys their size seem to get gassed early and the more conditioned guy wins.
He's blown a bicep before, maybe it was playing him up
Edie had to fight southpaw beacuse his left bicep was torn so to fight with one arm down he did really good
Eddie was so out of shape and burned himself out throwing the jab, massive overhand right in the first two rounds. Thor held his technique and really could have knocked Eddie out given Eddie's lack of defence.
Two legends ❤ respect between the two of them
Very hard for normal people to understand,,how amazing for these two to finish one round let alone 6
Eddie focus on red target but zero guard,so Thor always kept is guard up the entire time. They both dangerous punch😮.thanks for sharing this stream
Thor is what scientists would dream of when making a genetically perfect human being
@chrishenley4179 they made the perfect human for brute strength one of the biggest and stronger than any human on planet earth he’s so big and strong that he toyed with ufc legend Connor McGregor
bro if you a girl and u see thor and turn him down ur crazy@chrishenley4179
The reason Eddie was doing the weird stance was because it gave his right hand swings more power, downside is it makes it harder to get the perfect headshot.
It wasn’t his permanent bicep injury?
You can tell Eddie did not take thiss seriously at all he looked like he was fooling around with thor the whole time😂😂 and not even using 2 hands to block or anything just 1 hand 😂
I still appreciate Eddi he wasn’t worried about guard n all that safety advice 😂
He fought in his style n that’s still a win in my perspective 🙌
Much respect for those big men. Masterpiece. Eddie was technically under, but damn look at those huge shots hahah Not a strongman champion for nothing!
Ex strongman champion and only one time.
@@snd7622 In terms of pure strength, Eddie has Always been the best. He broke two of the hardest records
@@snd7622 Come on dude you know it...Eddie was definitly special. He was not Thor's hardest rival for nothing
@@mlksntch He was just one of the single win WSM champions.
How does a country with 320,000 people have such huge powerful men? Iceland has had numerous world’s strongest man champions and competitors… crazy!
So , I believe Eddie lost because he wanted to knock Thor out . And Thor won because he wanted to win . Huge difference.
Even though Eddie Hall is a world champion Thor makes him look like a child standing next to him😂
If Eddie was fully healthy and could useboth hands without it hurting him. He would’ve smoked him 💯
My favourite part of the fight was when Eddie did his Rocky III style stance switch and instantly caught a 1 2 from Thor 😂. 19:16
Eddie keeping his hands down like Tyson Fury when he has barely a tenth of the skill was a bold move.
Eddie need to employ a two armed trainer if he decides to try and box again What was he doing the past 2 yrs cause he defo wasn't training . 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Is the view good from down there eddie hah !!! 😂
It was NOT the heavyest of all time. The heavyest was Tony "Viking" Halme vs Robert "Jeep" Swenson. In Helsinki Finland.
Heaviest*
@@SJMJ91 omg...Whyyyy😪😪. Raskain,eikö niin. Älälyöööliäläikkyy👍👍👍👍...Kääk😂😂😂
no one mentioned the fact the ref had a grin plastered on his face the whole fight man enjoyed his job that night for sure
Quite disappointed with Eddie's technique. He had a long time to prepare for this and has the money to get a decent training camp.
what technique ?
@@nalabatch IKR. Such a shame.
I was kinda expecting a Tony Galento inspired technique by Eddie.
He was more focused on talking shit… lol
Eddie was training heavy punches on an Arcade boxing machine.
Your opponent literally has to dominate the entire rest of the round to make up for an early knockdown.
just imagine all those punches hitting a wood door and then understand the power
Eddie’s head movement was kinda crazy too
Stop talking BS. Every advantage... Eddie has done boxing quite a lot before, Thor none. Still he won. Eddie clearly had the advantage but he was too arrogant. Thor won boxing match, strong man competitions and deadlift simply because he has stronger mind.
He's spamming the MGR: Revengeance hard attack button, kek
