Here you will find interesting Origami projects and games for all ages - kids and adults, and all kinds of needs: stationary, decorations, envelopes and packaging, games, and more. There is no need to buy expensive envelopes and gift boxes, if you can make them yourself on your taste. It's a big fun to work on some educational or art projects. Thank you for asking. As I wrote in the description, the paper size is very important for this project. I used the paper size: 7.5 x 11 inches (19.05 x 28 cm). The first version of the envelope (video: 1:24) will be of the following size: 3.1 in x 3.7 in (7.8 cm x 9.3 cm). The second version of the envelope, with a little triangular top part (video: 1:44) will be a bit smaller.
Hello! What is the measurement of the envelope when it’s finished? I’m trying to see if I can tuck a 3x3 picture into it without folding it. 🙏 Great and easy tutorial by the way! :)
Hello! You might be able to tuck a 3x3 picture into the first, rectangular version of the envelope (video: 1:24) without folding it if you use the paper size indicated. I just checked on the envelope I have, and it is: 3.1 x 3.7. The second version, with a little triangular top part (video: 1:44) will not be big enough. It is possible to make the envelope bigger using a larger sheet of paper, but you would have to calculate the correct measurements which can be a work in itself. This envelope will not form if the measurements are incorrect. If you decide to do so, it would be a good idea to try first on a regular piece of paper you would not be sorry to throw away. I hope it helps.
@@YULIKOchannel Ah, I see! Thank you so much for your help; I’ll be using this envelope for wedding favors, so the extra space will be perfect to write people’s names. I appreciate you!!! 😊✨
Thank you very much for asking! The paper size is very important here. A4 won't work. For this project, you will need the paper size 7.5 x 11 inches (19.05 x 28 cm).
I’ve seen videos where they show how they used to fold letters into their own envelopes. I really wonder that would survive the machines today. Has anyone tried?

Thanks for bringing up this topic! It's fascinating to think about how things like folding letters into envelopes have evolved over time.
