Charlotte made it exactly how she wants it to work: subtle and natural. Building up and making it darker and full and unnatural is not what this pallette is for. I love it for that so much! 💞

This review was so on point! I felt the SAME exact way when I got this palette. I think I’ll like it more when I use with other palettes. I felt like it was missing something to brighten inner corner and add depth. Exactly like you said it!! It was my first Charlotte Tilbury palette. The exagger-eyes one looks nice!
Great review! I like the way your eye look turned out! I know the shades are light and similar but it is lovely.
I'm adding this video to my save list so when I get home I can take out my Pillow Talk quad and copy yer way of doing it. It's a very natural day look.

I'm Fenty 390 and love Pillow Talk quad/blush/lips. It shows very well om my skin and is very warming. It's a fave.
This and exaggereyes are my favorites. I have a light skintone and dont go for deep looks so this is perfect for me. I use the brown pencil liner with them and I've never hated a look I've done. Maybe because it is so light lol. To me it's like " my eyes but better"
I got walk of shame with my points too. I’m wearing it today. It also makes an awesome cream blush. Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks are my favorite. I wish they weren’t so expensive!

I have this palette and it works on me since i am pale (NC15-20) i also use it mostly for a natural day look.
The Matte Revolution has my favorite comfortable matte formula , i have 4 by now and i love to mix them . The Legendary lipstick in Pillow Talk is so gorgeous that once i see it back in stock i need to get a backup . I also find it to pricey per gram , compared to the matte and cream formulas.

Does the glitter topper shade hard pan pretty quick if using it daily? Thank you, beautiful look! I have medium skin tone with a yellow undertone. I'm afraid it will either not show up well, dissipate only after a couple of hours or the glitter topper hard panning or look patchy within a few hours. Thoughts? Thank you for sharing your time and thoughts.

My CT Airbrush Powder will be here on Friday along with the VDL Lumilayer Primer. Have you tried that yet? I’ve heard great things about it so thought I’d give it a try under some of my favorite foundations that could use a boost of luminosity. We shall see!! 🤞🏻

Pillow talk was made for the very fair (im one of them). On my skin the shades look waay darker so that's why there is no very dark shade in there. For you mid skin tone gals there are plenty of other pallets that I for example can't use bc it looks way too heavy on my skin tone for a wearable day time look :)
That said: could you please do a tutorial on her golden goddess quad? It was popular 10 years ago but is still available and looks very gorgeous for a sultry night time look

I have been lusting after this pallette for so long! But ugh , $53 for just 4 shadows? I just cant do it, especially when I have all those colors within my collection. But I did get the pillow talk blush , and lipstick, and I do love them!

Of course they don't seem nearly as pigmented! But when I saw it online it totally gave me new nude vibes!

I just saw a video that dupes these products. They used the Colour Pop Fame pallet for $22 and it was identical. I am going to try the cheaper versions.
I also have the same problem with the Pillow Talk palette, its unpigmented and the Pop shade is super dry and doesn't show up...I wonder if its a bad batch :(
Yeay I was waiting for this. This was very helpful in deciding if I “need” (cough cough) this palette. I’m caught up in the “effortless gorgeous goddess” look on CT tutorials, but the colors don’t seem life changing to me. I have more eyeshadow than I can use in this lifetime (haven’t hit pan on SEVERAL new (old) pallets, like Tartlet in Bloom, Tartlet matte, TF natural eyes and matte (old and new formulas), Chocolate Bar, Bobbi Brown.......I’m late to the game so new things to me are old school for most people.
I can’t wait for your concealer video. I’m almost ready to quit wearing it (not really) because nothing covers without needing to be layered, but they don’t always layer nicely, or they suck the moisture right out of my under eyes, even if I don’t powder. I’ve tried layering eye cream, oil, cream pot formulas, liquid, thick formulas that need one dot......I’m so over it. I need help!!!

Bare minerals gen nude in neutral is like this but better because like you said the shade needs to be darker. Gen nude have great shadows and are nownin tjmaxx for 10$

Hi Tara, I'm new to the CT eyeshadow game and tried pillow talk quad for the first time. But my experience with the pop shade is that it is dried out. Is that normal for that pop shade to be a dry glitter texture? I expected the pop shade to the creamy and easy to blend. Thank you
Hey sweets, wow this is such a old video😁❤ I don't have any issues with it being dry per say, but it can get hard panned and I have to dig at it when I use it to get that Glitter to pop. It's not normally a super in Creamy texture, but it's soft and that's why it gets hard panned so quickly. All of her pop shades are like that😒 I still use them and love them, but it's definitely a bummer. My fav Quad from her is the Exager-Eyes. It's absolutely beautiful 😍 Hope that helps🦋🙏❤😁

Ooooh, in that case I think you'll love the CT more. Her products are so mature skin friendly. Even her eyeshadows. They are soft. I would say my favs are exagger-eyes, pillow talk & dolce vida❤ Some Nordstrom's have her stars in your eyes palette which was a limited edition and it's amazing, one of my favs. It's sold out now, but several local Nordstrom's have it. You just need to call, sometimes they will ship it to you without needing to pick it up. But I would Google that palette, you get a ton of shades for $70 or so. It's a awesome deal💋😘
I feel like the shimmers from CT will be way more pretty on you than Huda glitters. I would definitely recommend CT❤

How do you feel about this eyeshadow palette vs. Huda Nude?
Well, of course you get more shades with the huda nude, and though I really love the Pillow talk, i wish it had a darker shade. So, for the money, I would say the huda palette is better..😘
The CT Pillowtalk eyeshadow quad has very mixed reviews. Mine is on its way, so I have not used it. Nevertheless, from what I have seen in terms of swatches and the actual Pillowtalk collection in its entirety, it's supposed to be a more natural look. Some people are not into/comfortable with very pigmented eye shadows. I think the purpose of this eyeshadow quad was supposed to be a more light airy natural look. Just my two cents..😀💛By the way you look stunning! 😍

I LOVE this look on you!! I am thinking I will be steering clear of this palette. I haven’t yet been wowed enough to buy anything by Charlotte Tilbury. I could be missing some things, though, because I hear folks rave about the products!
This brand DEFINITELY needs to cater more towards darker skin tones. 100%. It's one of my FAVORITE brands because all of her products work so well for me. But, too think many of my friends can't enjoy it😢😢🙈 It's not good. 💖💖,Love you sweet friend💋

Yea, I keep seeing that everyone LOVES this palette. I passed on the first and will still pass on it. I just don't think CT shadows show up on me. Great review Tara! ❤ The eye look you created is gorgeous but i think took could have done it with other palettes without struggling so much. I mean eye shadow is pigment and so when it lacks that's a shame especially for that price! Their is really nothing special about it, just a hyped up name. I'm glad I didn't go along with it. Ya, it's definitely something you really have to build, build and build. I love the look I created, but it took a lot of building to get it there. Totally agree❤💋 Everyone I watch loves this and I haven't heard anyone say anything about the shades being so light so I was a little shocked when I got it😓😓
I don't have that palette and won't get it because for $50+ it should be complete. I have very round eyes and must have a darker shade for the counter V area. My palettes have to travel well and this won't do it for me because it's not complete. But it's very beautiful- just not for me. Thanks for reviewing.

I’m slightly confused at your comments... why did you buy the palette, ? if anything this palette is darker in real life than on the monitor. So you must have seen the colour and decided you liked it before buying..?
I bought the palette to review it, and add to my CT collection. And, I reaaaally liked the palette, but like I said in the video I want to make it clear it's lighter and may not work for everyone. From a reviewing perspective, I need to point out every detail.
With that said, it's lighter than I expected it to be. And, like I also said in the video, the darker matte shade in the exagger-eyes palette I was able to build it on top of itself to build depth. With this palette, the darker shade on the bottom takes a lot to build it. More than I expected. 😚

I However found it to be darker in real life, I was hoping for a lighter pink. ..😖 I find it’s a lottery buying palettes online,but when you live in the country it’s not always easy to find a concession that stocks the make up you want. It's definitely too light for me. Wish it had a little depth.. But, the new Pillow Talk palette is great so that made up for it. ❤
