Now, if you want the ACTUAL reason why the armor is completely white, it's because the armour was made irl with a type of (?plastic?) material that is notorious for being hard to paint, and it took a really long time to make all the armor and they didn't want to have to make it all again.

Red coats were red because when a musket fired it shot our a huge amount of smoke. You need to be able to identify if friend or foe quickly in smokey enviroments so red or blue work well. Canadians actually did wear green camoflage but both English and Americans shot them.

When the opposing army was trying to shoot someone, they couldn't because in all the smoke, the red blended together. It is also rumored the coats were red so that if they got shot it wouldn't show they were bleeding.
I wrote a comment about this. The English Army underwent a military reform during the 17th century under Oliver Cromwell, who wanted to standardise the army. The cheapest colour of dye for coats was "russet", which is reddish-brown. As such, part of the "uniform" for this new English Army was a russet coat. Over time, this "Russet Coat" evolved to be brighter and more distinctive, becoming the "Red Coat".

I'm not sure camouflage wasn't allowed,but trying to manage a Napoleonic battle with all the smoke and sound would be impossible

If you didn't know, the British used to wear red because of Oliver Cromwell. During the British Civil War, Cromwell made his uniforms red because the colour was cheap. The colour then stuck around for many years
