I think amaru is already balanced. If a buff is needed, I think she should be able to fly in with one arm around the grapple and the other can only hip fire her weapon until she lands on her feet
It would be pretty slick if they made the delay between when the hook connects to the window and when she takes off shorter so they have less time to react between her breaking glass and yeeting in. That and increasing her velocity on the hook - she's a menace if people don't expect her.

At the time we all just laughed but now it actually doesn't sound like a bad idea, could be very useful to get inside a building quick or reach the roof faster
a better rework would be to allow a team8 to jump on her back and grapple in together, imagine the chaos it would cause..... that or it would be a 5v3 5 seconds into the match

well i have another idea for amaru buff/rework, so her gadget will have 2 mode (you can switch the mode like zof, cap): 1. Default = she will instantly jump to window/door like she used to 2. Hold = when she shoot her gadget to window/door she will not instantly jump, instead her gadget will attached to window/door and she will have option to jump or release. If you release then she will cancel jump and instantly destroy barricade (except castle barricade), so you can use it for fake jump or destroying barricade
Another way this could be added to is by making it so that amaru goes further into the building giving potential to bypass the damage radius of kapkan traps or frost mats.
Honestly a simple buff for amaru that will help alot is just here being able to shoot right away, I mean jumping in a window or rappelling enter u can shoot right away while still in the entering animation

So instead of her being in the building in 8 seconds of the round and running basically 4 speed she can be in 5 seconds and a 2 speed? And also why would a charged up grapple speed up your feet?

the best buff/rework for amaru is that dont change her garahook but give her ability that she can able to take health of any 1 operator of a teammate. it will like if teammate have heavy armor operator like Fuze/monty/sledge/thatcher etc they can give amaru 120 health because they have 125 health, same for other operators. that means now amaru have 110 (her 2 armor health+120 (heavy armor operator health) = 230 health, its a gamble like thing between amaru player and his/her teammate but if it will work, it will give a team a win
I have a concept. It’s nothing crazy but what if they made Senz ROU projector system like Yings candela. This way you can hold it to determine how many times it bounces, or how far it goes. It wouldn’t make Senz S tier or anything but may make them more usable.
I find people who use it in bronze and I still do 9 kills but my mates do a kill in 6 ruond. And I can't progress. 😐 And I swear I'm not exaggerating. 😑 I'm finding some people to play with.
Amaru should be a rotation god, for example keep her grapple but i think she should be able to quick vault over edges such as bank roof or consulate but the grapple lowers her down so its almost like a reverse rappel. Legit, rappelling down off edges is suicide against decent players.
The concept is fine, but doesn't really change how you play amaru, with the usual sasageyo then frag out kinda playstyle. I suggest having another firing mode where she just rappels to a window but not go inside for some crazy post plant repositioning or like you can shoot the hook at soft walls to make big holes or just break hatches.

I think it does nothing to address the actual issue of Amaru's gadget. She's still gunna get lit up the moment that barricade goes down (maybe even before if the defender is paying attention)

The only ways to make her much better is to either remove the glass breaking (would suck since then they have NO warning) or just make it so she gets in even faster (speed up the hook animation and reduce the time between it attaching and her getting in.). Her main tool is mobility and surprise since she can yeet through hatches and yeet into the 2nd story within a few moments of the match starting.
