On this episode of The Sick Podcast, Lane Hutson joins Grant McCagg and Shayne Gaumond to discuss the World Juniors, Boston University, the Montreal Canadiens and more!
It was great getting Lane on. He's one of my favorite prospects. I wish him success on the end of his season and look forward to him playing with the Canadiens, Hopefully by the end of this season!
@@recruteshockey9700 yeah you do have a point ! So maybe mailloux could do the trick , I just don't see rienbacer having enough of a stature to impose respect and space for hutson!!!
Geez, he sounds the same as me at that age. I grew up into a completely other animal though - habs fans wouldn't want him to take my maturity path that's for sure.
Great interview, but geez, why are all hockey fans, especially Habs fans, so impatient and want prospects to fly trought developpement stages. Let Lane develop slowly, an other year of dominance at Boston then a full year in Laval paired with Reinbacher so they can develop chemestry and let Lane learn to play against bigger forward and Reinbacher learn the north american ice and game. Slaf would be in a way better spot right now if he would have played a year in Laval. Habs fans really need to stop living in the hype of the here and now and enjoy the slow cooking of the pot. lts always more tasty when you slow cook at low temperature.
Cant wait to see the Montreal Canadiens prospects all playing in the NHL and thriving 🔥🔥🔥
Loved it. Can't wait to see him in a Habs uniform. Cheers
Thank you for watching. Glad you enjoyed it.
What a nice kid and he's easy to cheer for. I hope that he can make the big leagues with the Hats and have a good career...
A very affable kid who is also quite driven. I think he will find a way.
A good career is an understatement. Gonna be a top 10 defenseman of all time

I appreciate you watching the draftcast.
Awesome podcast, love to hear from Hutson, can't wait for him to hit the lineup
Me neither. I appreciate the kind note.
IF you ever read this lane. MTL is the best place to play hockey. NEVER FORGET IT
What a great kid! ❤
He is exactly that.
Great show guy's. I can't wait to see Lane playing for the Habs and doing his thing.
Great to hear that. Thank you. He will play for the Habs some day...hopefully soon. He can help that power play.
Love the well-researched questions guys, best ones I've seen so far for Lane out of the interviews I've watched!
Music to my ears. We appreciate the support.
We’ll spoken kid. One of my favourite new Habs
"Has he burnt that shirt yet?".
Grant is lowkey hilarious. Gotta love it!
Very impressive player. Good interview! You asked about everything!
Glad you liked the interview. We truly appreciate the support.

nice t shirt brother
great interview!
Thank you!
Great pod
Glad to hear that. Much appreciated.
Never knew Lane Hutson is half Canadian!
Might be why he's such a polite guy.🙂
I actually see him playing with xejak to start, will need him to have space in order for him to build confidence I would try that pairing !
I get your logic on that but I don't think either has much experience playing on the right side.

Hutson-Hutson
Guhle-Reinbacher
Struble-Harris
Xhekaj
Interesting top pair. Thinking you meant Mailloux.
Adam Engström?
Hutson-Reinbacher
Ghule-Struble
Xhekaj-Mallioux
Man I love Harris but I prefer Xhekaj ! Such a hard choice but I guess its a nice problem to have too many quality D prospects lol
@@cameronmccormick89 Lane and Cole Hutson , he’s projected to go high in 2024 NHL draft
Go habs go

Pumped for lane to put that Habs jersey on
He's going to help the power play immensely.
S/o Lane
I see a future coach in this guy
So do I!
What a fckin beaut ❤❤❤
Thank you so much for this amazing interview!
Cheers...and thanks to Lane! We really appreciated him finding the time.
'' Cole is bigger and stronger'' That's not what hockey db is saying 😂
Cole can't fight a 6'5 fighter 200+ pounds after playing 30 minutes and winning. Not a chance.

Theres just more coverage because theres more fans thats all. In american cities its football and basketball. Here its hockey, simple.
plz bro don’t pull a cutter Gauthier 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Have you seen the shirt he was wearing 😊😉
You wouldn't have seen Gauthier wearing a Philly shirt in the last year lol
