@@pawpawchronicles-n-morewit1210 I was planning on planting them in my woods. I had a big poplar tree taken out a couple years ago and it put a hole in the canopy. I plan to plant them there where they can shoot for that light but have limited direct sunlight. Does that sound good to you?
The thing to watch for is root shoots coming up from the popular. Get an herbicide called fertalume and put it on the stump. Fruiting is best for fruit production.
Sir I found a wild paw paw patch last fall and the fruit was great. I assume there are several different trees in this patch. What is the optimal size to dig up for transplanting? Should I grow in a pot for a while or put straight into the ground?
Ordered 3 pawpaw, I enjoy your videos!
Good deal, enjoy your planting.

Good stuff this is Jake
so if I take root cuttings lets say in february from 3 different trees and plant them all around, will they pollinate each other?
Rootsuckers, yes.
Any ideas on how to try and root some cuttings?
That is a practice that from my understanding doesn't work with pawpaws.

Thank you for the info.
