- Myself and Geoff head up to the beautiful, but cold state of Wisconsin to team up with the guys over at St. Croix Rods to help improve their bass fishing presence with their rods. Embracing the cold, we venture out and test out new rods and try our luck with Northwoods, cold water smallmouth!

We were in the shirts at 1 degree f. Then it got cold. A month later it warmed up the day he left. 2 degrees f. Guess who was wearing a tee shirt in somewhere Jesus Wisconsin.

Tip- Add some face protection to keep extra toasty. A Simms Gore-Tex Infinium Neck Gaiter would do the trick.

Good stuff. The Fence Lake chain is awesome. Crystal clear water, tons of big fish due to Cisco/smelt forage but hard to fish due to clear water and big forage base. Awesome place to go to in July...Keep the videos like this and the other fishing videos coming.

Blade baits we’re so close to slaying them. I bet they’re destroying them now
St. Croix needs to up the guide wrap and there grips. The reel nuts suck for the amount you pay for with the legend elites. Legend elite tournaments are not bad but the weight isn’t to good with the rods. I don’t like rods that have the grooves for the reel nut exposed, and the rods that you are constantly feeling cheap plastic(groves for the reel nut). There’s a reason why I don’t use my g loomis e6x anymore. I love Shimano(zodias up) and megabass grip, reel nut, and reel seat because it blends perfectly. Their rods don’t feel clunky at all like st. Croix do. Only thing St. Croix has other companies beat is the warranty to be completely honest.
Well and they’re very strong. I think you’ll like what’s coming down the pipe 👍

I own several St Croix rods from the legend Elite on down🎣 I love them and from my experience they are the best I have owned! I'm excited to see what is coming out next 🔥Im a smallmouth junkie and I love your store and channel! One question for you guys please! I want to get a new megabass P5 destroyer for my smallie fishing . I've never owned a megabass rod.Any suggestions for a food all around 1/8oz to 3/8 oz spinning rod 🎣

Very cool, I own two St Croix's one is MM86XHF 8'6" great rod for throwing my bigger swimbaits, but it definitely will give you an upper body workout. I hope you or Geoffrey mentioned Swimbait rods to the St. Croix reps. "Strong/lite blanks" 👍🏼👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼

I need your help. I m from Germany and i search a realy special rod. A spinning rod between 7 and 8 foot withe a soft tip. I want to fish carolina rigs withe a free sliding bullet from 7 Gramm (0,25 oz) up to 10 Gramm (0,35 oz) and lures around 5 Gramm (0,17 oz) in maximun (leed + lure) weigh around 5/8 oz (18 Gramm). i want a soft tip, so that the fish (big perch) dont feel any presure from the rod. and it shoud be a high end rod. do you hav any advice for me?
Lovely video what I don't like about the St .croix rods is there guide wrappings are not consistent even on the expensive one's , if there wrappings was as good as the megabass I would buy them thanks keep up the good work 👍
Thank you for watching. All the StCroix are hand wrapped guides, so it’s a personal touch on each rod, which can be good and bad 👍
If your concentration is getting bad, take up top water fishing. It will really improve your ability to focus.
