    Thanks, just bought a Softail Slim here in South Texas and it's awesome. Super comfortable and has lots of power with the 107ci

    Usually a sportbike rider I had a 2012 fat bob. Was a hoot but handling wasn't great. If they've sorted the handling you've got a great road bike. They can be hilarious to ride, nice review. Bikes are like food, just because you like curry doesnt mean you have to hate pizza.

    Love the looks of the Street Bob, but hate the LCD only gauge -- too small to be useful. Should have had something similar to the analog gauge with some LCD info, like the the Slim.

    Congratulations ! This is a nice video that help us to capture the real spirit of choosing and riding a Harley ! What do you think about the fat boy ?

    I've ridden a Sportster that vibrated unbelievably and a big, black 1300. Definitely get what Harley are on about but want something that handles and stops. No big, fat rear tyres. Double discs are good if they're not too wooden in feel.

    I hired a 2017 Breakout for a day. Clocked up 200 miles and really enjoyed. It made a nice change to ride something totally different. I would say though that clutch was a bas#%ard, soooo heavy, by the end of the day my hand was killing. I just could not live with that.

    Rode a 2018 heritage softail for Route 66 , perfect bike for the trip , no aches while traveling over 200 miles a day , my two big complaints , far too heavy for a modern bike - so heavy and no need really and this leads me to my second complaint only single front disk , I had to break hard to stop as some idiot did not want to give me right of way - the bike just would not stop as too overwhelmed with the weight , just missed the car lucky, I fell in love with it but I would never have one as handling is not great for Uk roads. 2500 miles test ride on Route 66.

      I don't mind it... I used to aim for it... and if he's not so heavy on the rear brake it might not happen.

      Harleys are like Apple for motorcycles. Polarizing, and have a huge cult around it. I don't really mind and have had a lot of fun riding some. What I do mind is paying a premium for dated design and technology.

    If your looking at buying a Harley... go test ride one, then after that go and test an Indian after, you won't believe the difference!
    Indian out performs HD in literally every aspect. Power, tech, handling, design, features and price.
    HD are so over priced, even before you put the "extras" on, which most should be standard anyway.
    With HD I can't help but think your buying half a bike for double the price, then have to buy a dozen "accessories" to get the bike to a half decent standard. I.E. Exhaust, Seat, Suspension, air intake etc etc.
    The only reason HD are rushing through all these changes is because Indian are walking all over Harley at the moment.
    Went to the states again recently and I saw loads of Indians. Where as the past times I've been it was all Harley. You can't sell outdated tech forever.... Just my opinion having ridden lots of both brands

      The only Indian which outperforms a Harley is the Scout versus the Sportster, which has is liquid cooled and a has a radiator as big as a TV, Not looking much traditional in my book. The 111 of the Chief and Chieftain series has as much power as the old TC103, about 85hp crank. The new M8 engine is a very good engine.

      @madigorfkgoogle9349 7 років тому +2

      yes do what google user is suggesting, ride both Harley M8 and Indian 111 to find out that its actually the opposite what he is trying to tell you. Harley outperforms the Indian in every aspect. Harley was always a leader in motorcycle tech, telling that Harley is selling outdated technology is just plain ignorant and showing that you really have no clue about technology.

    Bike World: before you do reviews of motorcycle, please do us the favor and LEARN TO RIDE!!! You know, people try to watch reviews to get relevant information and someone who is mediocre rider cant deliver relevant answers.

      well, have a look at narrators riding style and if you are (according to your avatar) a seasoned rider, you will know what I mean. And no, your comment was not really funny.
