I can't stop thinking about why you don't use your Swap Spell... 9:11
2 reasons. 1) the player decides what to give you. He would just give me his worst card. 2) legendary fisherman is unaffected by cards so if I play creature swap, it would just negate the entire card.

In my opinion the best yugioh is character duels, especially when you use the upgraded versions of their decks. Of course the bs cards like ash blossom, imper or the op Boss monsters that the character never uses are not allowed. Only cards that the character uses in the anime or manga or cards that are from the archetype should be allowed and just like that you get the most enjoyable version of yugioh in my opinion.
until you get into VRAINS where the main characters used meta decks

Bro I agree! Me and a buddy of mine actually just came up with that kind of idea for videos on our channel we started back up. Made our own banlist that stops all those unhealthy cards.

I honestly like both the fire and water types. As a kid my favorite card was Bubbleman, but the first deck I built in duel links when it launched was a tyrant dragon deck that I loved to pieces

Exactly. It would be easy to implement a goat Era room, make a banlist. Of course Konami would need to profit from this so they could even make a special pack that only contains goat cards. Give us chase cards like POG, graceful charity etc. That way we get what we want and they make money. That's a realistic approach I feel is possible

Starting Sept. 30th, you can start crafting banned cards! Also tried out LIquid Death for the first time like... 2-3 weeks ago. Liked it a lot.

I wish Konami would push Rush Duels more. I think Rhyme/Deion would love rush duels. It not as toxic as modern yugioh but still has that rush.

They go first, I have no counters in hand and they go 5min straight combo-ing.
Then all of their effects interrupt everything I do, so it’s basically still their turn.
Sometimes I just want the classic back and forth.

Meta just revolves around who gets their neverending engine going first.
Once that’s decided the match is basically over. Literally just a one-player game if you don’t just happen to draw some sort of negate from the start.
In old school there was pretty much always a chance for a comeback even though it was more random.

I think you should both come up with original Structure Decks. Choose an archetype or a theme and then try and make Structure Deck-style deck for it where you only have 1 of each card?
I like Light and Dark Attribute Monsters, because of Dragon's Collide Structure Deck.
There is no more flash-back inducing a a moment than having your Raging Flame Sprite with Axe of Despair suddenly Creature Swapped if you're a boomer player. XD Oh gosh the number of times that happened in one v one is probably why I was a water player as my alternate. Deck. Excellent piloting of it, Rhyme!
