Even though performance cars nowadays are crazy fast, comfortable and with amazing infotainment, I think we've peaked when it comes to the fun factor already. Emission rules are getting more and more strict and manufacturers are more busy with extra screens and ridiculous designs for their cars rather than making sure we can enjoy petrol cars to the maximum now that they're still here!
We are still getting some great cars even with the emissions regulations. Never would have imagined we'd have 300+ hp 4 cylinders from the factory 20 years ago, and this car hit 180mph, near 300kph and it does it with comfort, a warranty, and good exhaust emissions.
That is a unfair conclusion to come to. A lot of manufacturers care enough to still have V8 in their cars in the 2020s as well as manual transmissions so i don’t know what you talking about. Heck, even Lamborghini still have a NA V12. You should really look around and give props that is most certainly due considering governments across the world is pushing them to kill off ICE cars.

@MrKal321 100000% correct. The best digital cockpit bmw had it with pre face lift 5 series g30. Beautiful round speedometer and rev displays. Modern yet new. They could easily keep the design and just do what audi does. Now it looks liken PlayStation/xbox start up screen hahahahaha
Despite the powerful engine you can feel the weight of the car the engine has to battle with.... 290 kph for a car like this is just crazy. digital infotainment and cinema screens is just too much kind of entertainment I don´t need in a car when it comes to sportive driver feeling

After the "interesting" new 7 series and generic looking new 5 series, BMW actually did a rly good job with new X5's styling. They rly managed to make the X5 seem low like a limousine on the front with a smooth transition that makes the car look duck as a whole. Also like those lightning formed cuts in the front bumper for the matte black grill/kidneys, which design also works on this car. Finally a new BMW with clear lines and styling concept thats easy on the eye, yet not boring at all.
I don't know.. i just hate BMW, in every point. They are overrated. This 4.4 V8, sounds horrible. You can't compare that with Audi or Mercedes V8. I drove M5 Stage 2 750 HP and RS7 Stage 2 800 HP, both of them 2023 models, when they was stock and after with downpipes and engine/tcu Soft. RS7 is muuuuch more intense. The sound is much thicker, the power delivery is insane because of Quattro.. BMW for my style, my pleasure is just a joke. Maybe for "drift mode" is awsome car BMW, but I don't like drifts so for me it means nothing.
