I’ve noticed you loaded the ropes on the pull through before disconnecting your cow tails, a very good safe work habit in my opinion. This safe work habit was preached to me by my level 3 when I first started,,, it’s now common practice,, great job! Your videos are awesome

Started using this method in tree work like I had stated before. Now using it more and more with industrial work as well. Although I will set it all from the ground instead of aiding to the spot I will be doing the work. That is of course as long as I am not throwing by throw ball above something that can break. Then I will aid climb it.

hi! great matherial! i really appreciate all the videos - they are really helpful. i have a question - in the minute 2:30 when you take the second rope to connect it to the pull-through you are hanging only on 2 points and to unclip the second rope the carabiner from your backup has to be open... wouldn't it be safer to clip in the other cowstail to one of the other wirestrops? once again thanks for all the matherial and guidance

Why tie knots as opposed to splicing terminations and using selected hardware on your anchor points and load lines?

What about on I-Beams. This works well on round objects, but gets caught on the swag on I -Beams..

Wouldn’t it be better to tie an double alpine as an bfk and clip both carabiners in. To me it looks like the alpine could be pulled through the crab…
