Personally I feel like this is Marines PoV of Gura visiting Japan. She got to have lots of fun with Gura and was happy that Gura was having fun with her. But at the end she had to return home. As for Vore thing. Pretty sure Marine has talked about wanting Gura to eat her. Them Being in bed together end the end I think is just inside Gura subconscious, Hence why we see Red Gura sleeping instead normal Gura. I think Gura's idea at the end was "I know how we can always be together, I'll just eat you. Now you'll always be part of me."
Marine also talked about (recently) how she liked the Cute-Scary concepts of songs and videos she knew from the past where on the surface it's bright and happy and then you realize how dark it is and go "...eh?" Personal interpretation: Marine: "I never want this summer to end!" "Um, Gura... could you... *eat me* ?" Gura hears: "I WANT IT TO BE WITH YOU FOREVER!" "Um, Gura... could you... EAT ME?" *NOMS!*
If i recall Gura has mentioned that she always respected & admired Marine cause Marine was one of the first if not the first to welcome Myth when they were just starting out. She welcomed Myth into the fold & has been very supportive of Myth since. When they met in real life Marine immediately went over to hug Gura. Think this MV encapsulates the friendship & admiration both of them have for each other.
Let's just appreciate the detail of Gura "eating" Marine, then scene panning to them both sharing the bed Le Naturale, with rose petals around. And MV is finished with "ship sailing" in the bottle. Marine went all out in writing her fanfic with Gura, paying a huge amount for it to be animated and put out for all to see! :P Gotta respect the game. 😅
The end scene is Gawr eating marine literaly (as marine always wanted) and after that Marine is in Gura's mindspace just as Gawr. while Gura returns to the sea, keeping marine with her always inside her heart (like Gawr)

XD I think you forget that Red Gura isn't just her cynical, savage, self-critical nature. Red Gura... comes out when she *wants* something. Yup, they're together *forever* now. Besides, Marine always said she wanted that. Well she got it! XD

But what I'm pretty sure happened is this is a callback to something Marine said during Gura's first 3D LIVE over a year ago, when Marine said she wanted to be eaten by Gura. So she found a way to work it into the MV. 😂 Marine is just something else.
Som Shinkiro apparently means Mirage. Honestly a bit confused about the ending as well. Did Gura eat Marine, or was just that a dream of Marine's (with Gura dreaming about swimming into the ocean at the end which as we know is clearly a dream)
actually, the stuff of Marine in bed is shown with a hazy filter like a dream, whereas Gura swimming in the ocean and then shown from a distance jumping from the ocean [rather than POV or whatever] suggests Gura having returned to the ocean is not a dream at all. The ship in a bottle still floats there to show she brought it with her and remembers.

It's funny you mention Stay With Me because they literally sang it together during Marine's concert earlier this week before singing this one. This song is such a bop, man. Of course you know me. I do love me some trumpet and this song is chock full of it! As usual, Marine really pulled out all the stops for this animated MV! Great video man!

I really love this clip. My favorite VItubers and also an old anime drawing that throws me in the days of my childhood when I watched old anime on TV yet.
So apparently Marine had a very clear idea about the story of this MV, but then she started seeing all the different interpretations people came up with, and decided to leave it open for imagination what that ending meant. At least that's what she said on the stream. I personally find it better that way, some people see it as Marine dying, I see it as a beautiful Yuri couple "eating" each other.
Marine said on stream that she wanted the MV to have people saying "cute cute cute" but then at the end go "ehhh?". She also said that it wasn't a happy ending, but that she was quite literally eaten at the end lmao.

I think that Gura "devouring" Marine is nothing more than the representation of her showing her feelings to Marine, just an expression for what happened but it could also be Gura's way of loving and what it represents for her when doing this action. But I still think it's the first option
It's probably not literal, but to be fair, even if it WERE, that still fits with Marine's sense of humor. The first UmiSea Minecraft collab included her writing a fanfic for Ina to read out loud, in which Marine is -- to her infinite delight -- strangled to death by Ina's tentacles. Getting devoured by Gura as the punchline to their love story would still be an in-character happy end. I personally took it as a visual gag that wasn't literal. More likely it's (take your pick) 1. Marine wakes up from a nightmare of Gura leaving, which ended in an absurd dream-logic way 2. Gura does leave, but takes Marine with her, either in spirit, or in the fiction of the MV. Early in the video it shows that Marine longs to adventure at sea, and Gura is swimming away at the end, so this seems the most likely to me. The devouring is from Marine's perspective, in reference to her... unique proclivities, as she finally gets to become one with/inseparable from Gura.

Those where likely her last memories before sleeping forever in her gura heaven Gura is seen swimming alone, marine is gone, The song itself mentions that it's a flashback of which the magic is fading away
