I'm getting ahead of the game now ! I had the idea to stake sei a few days ago ! Good to know my thoughts are on par with other great minds !
I think this is always a great play with every new ecosystem. You find that when protocols launch they reward stakers. We've seen this time and time again and I think we'll repeat the same book here especially because Sei have a ton of protocols in development right now

Quite an extensive bits of data the compass wallet has access to when signing up. Also no mention of the risks staking and how you’re told to spread Sri amongst multiple stakers.

The risks of staking here are the same with all. If the validator produces malicious blocks - there is a slashing risk where part of the stake it taken from you.
Otherwise yeah you can do multiple wallets

Do it via the compass wallet, you can do it directly within the wallet app

Where are you reading that? Are you sure you're not referring to a SEI LP which could be that amount. Staking SEI is a different, i've had a look now and its still around 4%

It’s just how much of your staking rewards they’ll take.
If it’s 5%, if you make 100 SEI in rewards, you keep 95 SEI yourself & 5 SEI go to the validator
You left how you managed to add the wallet to the sei app as it doesn't allow us in the
uk to add a wallet.
Instead you can stake directly through the compass wallet. If you open the wallet there’s a section on it called stake. Works the exact same way!

How do I convert the Usei rewards to sei or cash though?
Usei is just a subunit of SEI. It’ll automatically convert.
Will you qualify for the airdrops if you only stake in the Compass app not on sei app?
its the same thing, it won't matter where you stake from
What protocols are expected to airdrop SUI stakers??
I’m speculating on a ton that are launching on Sei. At least 20-30 protocols for now.

uSei is just a subdivision of your sei. It’s automatically converted into sei don’t worry!

No idea, it really varies. I’m just basing mine on what other similar chains have done. My preference is to stake across more wallets rather than concentrate it on one individual wallet

Hopefully they’ll come over time. Just need to wait for sei apps to come now & launch tokens
What actual airdrops do we get? I haven't heard of anything but have been staking for months
Nothing so far, anticipating that when the apps on sei drop their tokens (nothings come out recently) some will go to stakers

14 days. You can claim the rewards anytime
What's the minimum to use?
There’s no minimum! In terms of airdrops I’m not too sure either. Looking at how Celestia, Atom & Inj stakers have been rewarded, having $50-100 at least has been historically ok. Never know how things will be in future though
So by staking sei in compass will they probably airdrop?
I dont think compass themselves will have a token, im more thinking about the future Sei projects that come!

Oh yes you can do! As long as you stake whether on the app or directly via the wallet it shouldn't matter

you can use the staking app from within the compass wallet without the above geoblocking.
2100 staked after 6 h i got 500usei… 2000 usei per day… 73000 usei per year . Now devide per 1000000 gives us…0.1 sei per year??? Wtf:)?
usei is just a smaller subdivision of sei. Once you claim it’ll automatically convert into sei

@@radkos3587 you’ll get around 3-4% APY a year. Nothing major at all. We’re speculating here on bigger rewards coming from tokens that airdrop to stakers.
